It's comforting to know that this in not just an issue in our biz. Maybe it's our responsibility to foster an environment that makes 'waiting' ok. Some will always want things right now. Maybe it's ok to let them go find their 'right now' and make the people who can defer the pleasure more important. And it's ok to let it be known that we find those types of people more important and vital to our style of business... and maybe if time permits ... patiently try to convert the 'right now' crew. If it works then we've done ourselves good. If not, it's ok...it was never meant to be. 😄

I am also one of those guys that looks at a website as a positive and use it as part of my decision making process. It's not just about looking at photos either, although a nice array of photos is quite nice to look at. I read the bio which is usually more detailed than the ad. It also helps to see what her likes and dislikes are. How professional she is and her specific protocols for how she wishes an encounter to proceed. Certain contact info, her wish list if I am inclined to bring a little gift which I often do and as was pointed out, what if the other ad sites are attacked or go down. It helps you ladies to keep yourselves advertising without having to rely on outside forces. Having said all that, I realize that those of us posting on here who read these websites and ads thoroughly are probably somewhat in the minority when it comes to men but maybe that can help in the overall screening process too. When a guy contacts you who obviously has made the effort to go about things in the proper manner, it is likely a good sign that he is a client worth having, imo. I've also always believed that a positive presence on forums like this helps in the screening process. References from other providers are also important but in my experience in the hobby, I have honestly never had to provide one even though I've offered. I don't know if that is even a good answer to all this but I do understand and sympathize with you ladies for all the idiots out there that just don't "get it". Believe me when I say you are not alone in this. It's people in general these days. They are all like ADHD 4 yr olds. They want what they want and right now. I get it in my business as well.

I think a star signifies there is a new post ( or many ) in a thread you have participated in previously, whereas a dot means there's a new post in a thread you haven't posted anything.

I have to agree........ I had the pleasure of meeting miss red back in July. I don't get a chance to participate in this hobby very often any more. After be a stalker for a few months ( watching her ads). I figured it was about time to meet this stunning young lady. Set up was fast and painless. In the recommendation section, an option to search for a particular SP's or an MA's recommendation post using an alphabetic list was available in the old version but doesn't seem to be available in the new version. Now it seems one has to go through page by page to search for a particular lady. This is a very useful feature and I hope it will be brought back.

I see there are some posts speculating about exact locations. Just a reminder to everyone... this is an industry that relies on discretion and outing the exact location of anything is a bad idea. Providers and businesses can and will advertise their own location if they choose to do so. The rest of us should learn to be a little more discreet. Same goes for phone numbers, for that matter. Even when details are openly advertised it's better to link to an ad or website rather than posting details directly - that way the provider/business maintains more control over what's out there and if things change there's less out of date information flying around.

I've never completely understood the old "pictures aren't accurate" thing, tbh. I get that most guys are visual creatures by nature but even photos that aren't touched up or anything rarely are exact. Cameras have come a long way and selfies are all the rage and so on but depending on lighting and angles and all kinds of other factors, the real life in front of someone and the photo can have anywhere from subtle differences to things that are very different. I just don't see it as a deal breaker but again, I understand that some guys can be extremely specific in what they want or envision in an encounter. Having said that, perhaps he could have been more tactful and perhaps your reaction to his offer could have been less emotional but what's done is done. It's water under the bridge now. You probably should have accepted the offer and been compensated for your travel time but too late now. I guess this isn't much of an answer but chalk it up to experience and try not to take it too personally. Cheers and be safe out there.

What makes "this line of work" generally frowned upon is the same thing that most righteous people use to oppress anything they deem to be wrong or immoral. Fear of the unknown. Unfortunately, it takes a long time to break down the walls so that it can gain general acceptance so that the majority don't judge it to be immoral. Stating that someone has some ongoing issue or they wouldn't be in this industry is just wrong. It might not be the industry for some, but that doesn't make it wrong for everyone. Yes, there is the seedy side because of the quick money. But that could be argued in lots of businesses. There are more SPs here that I trust than car salesmen or house siding installers. I have found that most of the ladies I have met were very strong and comfortable with what they were doing. I will be glad when society becomes more accepting, because it will make everyone safer.

I hope that one day my daughter will choose whatever makes her happy. I hope that she’s also strong enough to stand up to people like you, who believe that her or anyone’s self worth should be based on society’s views and for her to know that love should be unconditional, not based on terms and conditions of what people deem as ‘acceptable’. If you think this means that I don’t truly care about my daughter then I feel so sorry for your children or future ones.
