Ten years ago today I joined cerb, and I can't let the occasion pass without saying thank you to my friends in this community: the wonderful women I've met, the mates I've shared a beer or a story with, the people I've been in touch with about shared interests, the social groups, and those who left the 6000 posts that were once on my page, before the change occurred. It would be great if people could explain *why* it's not easy to navigate, or what would make it easier. And also say whether this is using a phone or a more traditional browser. At the moment it's clear there's a problem, but not at all clear what the problem is... which will make it *very* hard to fix.

My understanding is that the plan was always to do this sort of thing in the middle of the term. Too soon and it looks like it was a huge priority and they'll get attacked for it; too late and you get the controversy dragging into the election campaign. "Take a good hard look at" in this case probably means "forget about". Unfortunately.

I think some training is in order. 🏏 When answering inquiries make the distinction between being an escort 👄🍌🍆 and being a massage attendant 🤲☯️☮️. One simple thing to know/impart is that escort will charge more for their services while massage attendants will not charge as much (one reason being that the health risk is less). But people have to remember that each still has expenses as well as needing to make enough to cover bills/rent etc. If they start asking for escort services acknowledge that. If they are looking for massage services acknowledge that too. Training involves teaching people the names for things so they can learn to make the distinction. And remember: the law allows service providers to do their business. The law only is concerned about the buyers and that is only if they are looking to buy from girls/boys/etc who are being exploited ❌. No need to allow people to be so comfortable that locker room talk is welcome 🤐. Still need to use intelligent conversation to promote understanding. Discretion is useful and sensible but clarification can be a benefit. And it keeps you safe. 🙏

No wonder that Sasha is getting popular on this site because she offers more then just a great service. One of the biggest compliments I get is when they ask me to stay, I've had it happen a number of times. Start to get dressed and they pull me back or tell me not to rush away. Feels very nice to have the person being paid ask you to stay and talk or cozy up in bed for a bit longer.

I share the frustrations, although I find it has improved a lot since the original changeover. For me the major issue is that it is still so difficult to do searches. This is so important to a site like this. It is so much harder to find information on sp's which is the main reason a lot of people come here. It's possible to search a specific discussion forum for posts from a laptop or a PC, but very difficult from a mobile. (Which statistically is by far the most common way of viewing sites now.) Even on my laptop, the results are confusing as it will bring up multiple posts from the same discussion, but at least I'm not searching the whole site for information on a local lady like I would be on a mobile. The recommendation threads have the same difficulties. People can post in them but it's really hard to search them. This not only makes them far less useful, but results in multiple threads for the same lady as posters will simply start a new thread instead of finding and adding to existing ones. This only adds to the confusion. I did really like the old version's alphabetical listings, although even more important is the ability to search by name in the forum. I avoid using the site from my mobile when I can because of this now, which means less opportunity to use the site. I think better search functionality should be the number one priority for improvement in the site. Not a lot of point in a recommendation site if you can't actually search for recommendations. Just click on the words: "Halifax (and other areas of NS)" It will open them up in bullet form like the old format. It doesn't seem to make sense to require the extra click here but if there were more than 1 area in NS to choose from, it would make more sense. (Look at the the way the Ontario section is broken down. It has many to choose from, that you can then click further on and open up.) Hope this helps.

Agreed. Although I am a hypocrite for wanting less nudity in the general discussion areas so I can sneak on the site from work. 🙂

For Lyla to grow it needs to provide utility to it's users. That's the same for any web site. When Backpage closed there was a reason LeoList took over instead of Lyla. Lyla is not a good platform for advertising for providers. It could be and should be. That generates traffic and revenue. It's also restrictive, lots of rules. Say what you will (and I support rules) but it discourages discussion. Whatever solutions (if any) are brought forward to increase member usage if it involves more rules it's probably the wrong solution, if it involves less it's probably the right solution.

Ok here's some complaints about the site (these might also be complaints about the old site too). Don't get me wrong it's a free resource and I intend to continue using it. But someone asked for specific complaints so these are mine The reputation points are messed up and meaningless. There's no way to correlate how the points are generated especially for migrated users. The reviews section needs to be organized like the old one was, I can't find reviews easily anymore Why doesn't it remember the forum I was last in when I login The activity streams are confusing and I can't seem to set one up for just the forums I'm interested in Members signature banners have naughty pictures in them so often I don't dare take a peek from work which reduces my participation The advertisements area needs to be organized like a classifieds site not a user forum. It's the wrong tool for the job. The search defaults to the whole site not the forum I'm in I find mobile use frustrating and avoid it Why can't I edit old posts after someone else posts. This isn't a legal document it's a user forum, just let me edit old posts The rules state No posting nude photos or photos depicting sexual acts. Yes this site is adult but we do not allow porn How come nudes are all over the place in banners? Jessica Rain above is an example (sorry Jessica you are just one among many). This gets back to having to watch over my shoulder anytime I'm on the site. Can't use from work at all no matter how I resize the window The rules also state no advertising in general discussion forums but some of the providers banners are huge and all ad. Just posting a simple 1 line reply puts a massive ad smack in the middle of a discussion forum When I get a message under mobile it's near impossible to click and view it. I am totally unsure how to view it. Gave up on mobile in fact. See the image below. Why isn't each forum on a separate line with a bullet point. The bold lets me know there's unread content but why is "massage" tucked over to the right of "escort discussion" instead of on it's own line Why is the giant link to "Escorts-Canada" below every section of forums. If it's a paid promotion thing its being done wrong because Ontario only has the link clicked 400 times vs 1400 for Nova Scotia because the Ontario section pushes it so out of sight with all the areas it has.

No I agree I just think that a lot of individuals see their risk having increased due to the possibility of a criminal record for meeting a sex worker. As a result some have left the industry as clients or have limited their booking to existing known ladies and are less likely to meet a new lady. Got the oil changed in my truck today. When I got the bill, $0.00. Didn't seem right to me, this was the second time I got an oil change for free and I was perplexed to say the least. So I questioned it. Got told I had oil changes free for life. I just bought the truck in February and remember clearly declining the oil changes for life option. Well it turns out the previous owner had oil changes for life, but it's non transferable. But the first oil change was a freebie I was entitled to. But today my bill went from $0.00 to $83.00 😲 because I questioned what seemed like a freebie I shouldn't get But taking a freebie which I knew I wasn't entitled to would be no different than stealing.
