Thursday December 13 will be my last full day for the Christmas holidays, 1230pm-12am. If first impressions are an indicator, the newest SC in Ottawa has a bright future. Last night they had a soft opening at 6 pm and the place looks amazing compared to what it used to look like. I was skeptical of what to expect considering the owner of the property's reputation however the renovations are not an attempt to put lipstick on a pig. The VIP section is relocated to over where the pool table used to be with small private booths. There's no pool table now. The wall where the VIP section was now is a long sofa. The elevated section to the left as you enter the bar is now more private glassed-in section with its own stripper pole. The bar area remains pretty much the same but has been upgraded with marble countertops. The lighting and furniture have been modernized with a clean white theme. Hell....even the heating ducts have been replaced with fancily shaped ducts equipped with pod lighting and swirl brush finishing. It's hard to determine at this point what this bar is going to be like six weeks or a year from now but so far they've got a good start. If they can attract the right staff and clientele, this is a great addition to Ottawa. I'm looking forward to some return visits in the near future.

I don't understand the false presentation. Even if getting behind on updating the website or ads which we all do. But updating once a year should not be an issue. And with smartphones, posting updated selfies should not be difficult either. I'm straight up. I post when my photos are taken and I think at the moment I have 4-5 galleries from Summer 2017 and now. I'm add new photos for Christmas of the next 12 days. So updating is something I do often.

Be careful not to let this "chemistry" you feel cloud things. I've learned the hard way that a lot of providers do an amazing job making you feel special, when in reality, you are just another client that is easily replaced. Thinking you are special or the provider remembers you/actually desires to see you is a thought process you should try to eliminate. Also, keep in mind the time of year. Maybe she is only working certain hours and knows you request certain times and it's not a fit right now. Could be many, many variables.

There's no harm in following up after a couple of days (or even a full day), I think, provided you do it right. "Hey, I was wondering if you got my mail" is OK. "Why didn't you reply to me?" will make you look like an entitled asshole, which is probably not what you want :)

I think that is the biggest thing from my standpoint in regards to her as well. There is a certain turn off with a "stubble". I don't mind hair or smooth but the in between just seems weird to me. I really hate to say this but this is where review boards has brought us . In my opinion things are far out of control , way out of control . I could be wrong about my assumptions but.... Strongly agree with alpharise's endorsement of castle's post. While I understand, to some degree, the view that searching for excessive mileage in the CR setting may not be a reasonable approach to take, there are excellent experiences to be had in this situation when one is familiar with the dancer in question or, as castle suggests, when an encounter with someone new leads in an agreeable direction. Comparing the SC experience to other avenues is, of course, comparing apples and oranges (similar in some respects but far from identical) and, as noted, there is some validity to the notion that expectations for and/or attempts to secure ultra-high mileage CR sessions indicate that one should be looking elsewhere for the desired outcome. As castle notes, one definite advantage of the SC experience is the ability to avoid the kind of 'fakery' that seems to be so much a part of the discussion in another forum. One is immersed in a 'real-time' situation and then can make a decision to proceed or not, perhaps even having an opportunity to chat beforehand and, if comfortable, discussing what one could expect of the CR session. Suppose there is always the possibilty of a little 'fakery' (of the bait-and-switch' variety) in this scenario, but I've rarely encountered this issue. Others may have had less agreeable experiences with this, but it is unlikely to be in a dancer's long-term advantage to go down this road, at least in my view.

So to me the reason for people coming to the site is: 1) Finding recommendations of providers 2) Finding providers advertising 3) Finding warnings / reviews of providers #1 works very poorly #2 works very poorly #3 isn't allowed. (Well warnings are allowed if it's like bait and switch) It doesn't bode well for the future of the site if you can't address #1 & #2 at least. Do #2 well and the site should grow tremendously.

When someone contacts me demanding these specialized services, it's a deal breaker for me. It's not the services that's the issue, as I thoroughly love providing them, to those I feel a mutual connection with. However someone making demands, before I've ever met them, I pass. It's a screening process that has never failed me. However, the whole industry in on a downward spiral due to this type of mentality. Riskier behaviors that risk the whole community.

If said provider offers an experience you think you will like, book, if she does not offer one you believe you would like, don't book, pretty simple; no need to have a drama thread about what you think a SP should do, in some vain effort to encourage more people to do as you want.

I have things I like and would probably decline to see a provider if she didn't offer some of the things I enjoy, but your post has blunt phrasing that is comes across very objectifying towards providers.

I am currently reviewing all comments made in this thread and going to discuss changes with the Devs to improve anything discussed here. I can't guarantee it will be done right away as please keep in mind we are limited by the tools the site has available to them as this isn't a custom build.
