Visited my son and family, played with my granddaughter on the carpet and after a bit laid down to rest a bit, my granddaughter came and laid beside me and whispered in my ear "I love you grandpa". I will cherish this moment forever.

Met with her very early Thursday morning she was amazing. First of all it was really early and she was bubbly and all smiles. Amazing little body, Great conversation, beautiful on top of all that. I will definitely repeat when I get the chance!

Just wanted to pop in and say Happy Holidays to everyone! Lyla Retirement is hard at times! Looks like the new moderator is right on top of things and the site is running nice and smooth. Hope everyone loves the site now that they have had to to acclimate to it. I don't have much time these days to pop in and see whats going on as I am involved in a number of other projects these days but I do miss the site a fair bit and the wonderful people that make up this community. I will still be checking in from time to time. Highlights today, got Christmas grocery shopping done, before the crowds got there. And second highlight, bought my six pack of no alcohol beer but even with no alcohol beer got asked for ID. As the year is coming to end, I wanted to get out and treat myself to a fun night of food, drinks and some wonderful company. I met Adriana Bella on Wednesday, during her first tour to Ottawa and she was an absolute delight! I contacted her several weeks prior to the rendezvous and we communicated by email (her preference). Umm...I gave that shit up years ago. I didn't vote because the options don't appeal to me.
