Seeing Christmas is over now, next topic, how many here are making New Year's Resolution? If so and you wish to share, please do. As for me, not biggies, but two resolutions First, major clean out and cleaning of the fridge. And even before 2019 has arrived, fridge cleaned out and almost cleaned. Just did that today Second is to get back on track with my health routine. Continue my daily routine riding my exercise bike. Walking to the bank and grocery store. Diet wise eat lean proteins, no bad fats only fresh fruits and veggies. For the most part I have done so (no cream, no butter, but I have had some cheese (I'm a cheese-a-holic LOL) and come Jan 1 cheese is getting cut out for awhile. But weight is holding steady (no gains but no losses too) My BP is good, cholesterol good etc etc. Hopefully by April I'll have lost enough weight to get into size 36 waist jeans. For comparisson Oct 20 2017 when I had my mini Stroke I was a size 48 waist, now I'm a 38 waist Anyhow those are my two resolutions, one is almost done, will be finished in about an hour, the other starts up again Jan 1, 2019 RG

I read the Globe and Mail article with interest as I have spent many pleasant hours in Ottawa and other Canadian strip clubs over the past 30 years. For me, a strip bar was always a welcoming place for a beer, free lunch, good tunes, and outstanding company. I was a regular at Barefax and Barbs for some years so would often be greeted by a one of my favorite dancers – kind of like “Cheers” if you know what I mean. A decade ago it was completely acceptable to stop by for lunch or after work with a crew from the office and everyone had some fun in a sexy social atmosphere. However, as discussed in this post, things have changed for SCs. The clients are fewer, the dancers less attractive, and the clubs themselves haven’t had an upgrade in years. I watch this change with melancholy for a more simple time and have some thoughts on how this trend may be changed. I won’t repeat the reasons for the SC’s decline as they were pretty well covered by the Globe. Porn is readily available today so one doesn’t have to view paradise at $20 per dance. The emergence of massage parlors has taken business from the SCs because for the cost of a few dances you can go home with a smile as opposed to a tease. The biggest hit to SCs in my opinion is the politically correct attitude of today’s youth that SCs demean and objectify women such that they are no longer socially acceptable. It is this last point that I find so hypocritical. If one believes in the basis of feminism and a woman’s right to choose what she does (specifically what she does with her body) how can society encourage some choices and scorn others? Most of the dancers I have known are very happy in their work and the choices they have made. While society has become open to homosexuality and the broad spectrum of gender identity, the previous acceptability of SCs has disappeared. The pendulum has swung so far because of the #MeToo movement that a man’s attraction to women immediately has negative connotation. I can only hope that the pendulum of public opinion will again swing back such that respectful heterosexual relationships are also respected. So what does this mean for our beloved local SCs? Unfortunately, the continued slow decline and I am saddened by the loss. I do believe that today’s generation of young confident women could change this however. If young women took the lead to support a woman’s right to choose then it would again become socially acceptable. Perhaps if there was more cross over between the stripper and MA communities as there exists between the MA and SP communities it would be beneficial for both. The young women are going into the MA community and complaining at the lack of clients while there are men sitting at the strip club two blocks away wishing for some new dancers. I don’t know how this would work exactly but I do believe that a closer relationship between MA spas and SC’s could be beneficial to both. I know a MA who also trains on the brass poll so perhaps this is something to be further explored. So those are my thoughts on this cold winter’s night. Let’s hope for a future for our favorite SCs as we will be losing something real without them!

I've seen blogs done by providers in the past. They're often pretty interesting, although obviously that depends on the person doing it. They seem a lot less common now because they've been replaced by things like Twitter. Hey everyone, I haven't posted in a long while but thought I'd share my experiences about sugar-dating as I have used the SA site for several years with great success. I have enjoyed about 30-40 incredible sugar baby relationships and the women were (for the most part) amazing, sweet, classy and some were ridiculously good looking. 80% of the time it was a hot fling that lasted 2-3 months and we end it on friendly terms. I never get upset or give someone a hard time. 20% of the time, we became long-term frisky friends, and more importantly, friends. Some of these ladies still keep in touch with me even though we are no longer intimate/moved away and just want to catch up. No money or gifts involved. Others will contact me from time to time looking to hook up and need a bit of help with expenses. I also have 3 occasional frisky friend relationships that have been ongoing for 2-3 years. The fun thing is that over time you can develop a black book of ladies that come back to you. You get to know the ladies well. These are often students or ladies with full-time office or government jobs. Most of them close their SA accounts after we start an arrangement. I've had hundreds of them tell me they are just tired of young broke guys that are rude and cheat on them so they give up on traditional dating. If you can catch them in their first week online and show them you have class and will treat them well they often will accept to meet you for a drink. After that, it's about your skills, appearance and ability to connect. Also, this site works best for those aged 35-50 (unless you are older but have a youthful appearance and style). It's the honest truth. Many ladies have an age cutoff and you have competition. If a younger, more attractive, more generous guy comes along, you may lose out sometimes. I did my homework and operated a free female account on SA for a week before joining just to size-up my competition Usually, I buy a 3 month SA membership. I ask for a number & pics from all the ladies I am interested in and start texting within 48 hours or dump them as flakes. I get 20+ phone numbers and start to narrow down. I would end up meeting 8-10 ladies and choose 5, keeping a constant rotation. When I dropped to 2-3 women, I would open a new SA membership with different username and pics (**because some sugar babies get jealous and monitor your old account to see if you're active) and start the process again. If you are meeting a lot of ladies and not closing I think it's on you. I have a 50% success rate, which suits me fine. This site is worth it if you have time to engage women and can spare $2,000-$3,000+ a month. It is not like MA or SP where you just go for an hour. Most of the ladies would meet up for 2-6 hours and want both social (dates) and intimacy. Sometimes it can be a weekend away or even a week vacation together. Many ladies are willing to be your girlfriend for a week if you pay their way to a nice vacation in the sun or to Europe. Costs you $1000-$2,500 for a week of their time. Considering gifts and financial support, I operated in the average range of $200-$400 per meet. I don't pay or go for platonic; I have lots of friends. Usually, it takes 2-3 dates before we become frisky friends. It's a different approach though. It's not like giving cash in an envelope. Sometimes, it's cash. Sometimes, you hook up without any donations. Sometimes, it's overnight. Sometimes you make their car payment, you buy them gift cards, a laptop, new phone. Sometimes, you'll give them a ride or send them an Uber. These ladies often tell me they don't want to feel like an escort. Personally, I think it's BS because I like the MA/SP ladies too and I don't judge. But many of these SA girls are from different backgrounds and see it that way.
