I got suckered in this one, she does not even come close to looking like her although she is young and still good looking but is dirty blonde. The sort of, but not really bad news first. Got a call from my brother, he saw my mother's health care team (including doctor) about her condition (she has Stage 7 Alzheimers) Gist of it is the doctor wants the family's OK (my brother and me) to stop all medication (except any pain meds) My brother asked me, we both are in agreement, stop meds. The person died a long time ago, just the body is still weakly alive. So they are weaning her off her meds and we are actually hopeful she passes away soon to finally rest in peace. They thought she'd pass away two years ago. I thought cancer was the worst disease, I was wrong, Alzheimers is by far worse than cancer. I actually hope she passes away soon, to RIP, just no quality of life anymore. But still hard to be one of the two people who has to give approval to the doctor to cease medication. On a brighter note in the mail got a envelope from the Pension Centre, my pension goes up because of indexing 2.2% and I'm going to get a (slightly) larger (and noticeable) pension cheque every month, and first cheque comes in next Tuesday That's been my Friday RG

Federal Government security checks are done on all new employees and have to be redone after 5yrs the extend of the security check will depend on the security level needed for the employees position. For most jobs the basic level is called "enhanced reliability" (for some positions includes credit check) and if this is your sisters level I would not expect and concerns regarding your employment as long as you don't have a criminal record and you said you don't. For levels higher then enhanced reliability (secret, Top Secret) the review is more in depth and includes greater review of family etc to ascertain if these connections might increase the risk to the government. If it is a higher level that your sister seeks they my make note of your employment (which as RoamingGuy has noted is not illegal) and they may bring it to management's attention but I would think it is highly unlikely that they would refuse her clearance. Issues are often noted in security clearances but unless they are extreme (criminal record) it is normally left up to the departments managers to decide if it has any impact on the ability off the person doing the job. From what you have shared I don't think you have a problem regarding the security clearance but as others have said it would be very wise to move away from using your own name and phone number. Like RoamingGuy I worked for the federal government for 35 years and my role frequently invoked me in dealing with security issues related to employees. Just my opinion

OMG! Lol. I got my eyebrows semi tattooed ( nano blading). I am someone who plucked their eyebrows in the 90s when it was in style. They never grew back.
