I second that! I’ve seen some good talent in my time but it comes with chemistry and listening to the woman. Expecting just the waterfalls to magically appear like a circus act are in for a rude awakening. It doesn’t work that way. Those who have taken the time to learn how to do it could teach courses on the subject. Hehe. CRA NEVER contacts a person by phone. I hung up on him in mid sentence. The number was from Calgary at 403-536-4072. Be careful and I’m sure everyone knows not to give any personal info over the phone. Perhaps I should have called back and done this..😂

Unfortunately call display does not always show Government of Canada and even if it did I would not trust it. The government does not call and threaten arrest or lawsuits and will always give you their number to call back and you can confirm that by calling a published CRA number.

I hear you Nicolette... real pain in the ass. CRA will never call that early and they will never request your personal information (they may ask questions to confirm your identity but never info that would put you at risk) and most important of all they will not ask you to pay over the phone by credit card or by iPhone cards or by cash. Unless you have received formal coraspondance outlining what you owe they will not call and tell you you owe or seek payment. If you are uncertain ask for a number to call back and then lookup the actual CRA phone line and she them to confirm the number you were provided.

In November last year, this scammer called and asked me to call back with my SIN ready. But this time was at night. This guy must have mixed up our time zone with his country's which would have been day time. Talking about being dumb!

And CRA doesn't ask for payments in the form of iTunes gift cards. Hasn't happened to me but I've heard of it (on the news) happening Also if CRA calls, it would show up (I think, not 100% sure) as a Government of Canada number on call display, not as an unknown number RG

I agree ,, I think this is mostly about communication and ensuring that neither side is trying to take advantage of the other. A few years ago I had a longer session booked with a lady who I met regularly and had paid online in advance.. I had picked up some food and gone to the hotel but when I got there it was pretty apparent the lady was not feel very good... she said she was fine and we started eating but within a half hour things got worse.... I drove her to the local emergency department and waited with her till she saw a doctor. We spoke the next day and she was feeling much better ... we easily addressed the unfinished session and it was no big issue because neither of us tried to take advantage of the other. If people take that approach and accept that things happen and you just have to adjust it's is better for everyone. We have well run organized parties/ dances here in Nova Scotia. We used to have several a month but one of the main hotels closed and well, most hotels don't think we are a good fit for general population. Now we have a dance about once a month but they are mostly couples and single ladies. Single men are permitted if a well known couple will vouch for them . Single men have to behave and wait to be asked to dance, talk and socialize. Generally they don't have a lot of luck , I say generally because most couples are into swapping or having a single lady. You will find the odd couple that is seeking a single male , its rare and you should usually be bi. I have attended parties for at least 15 years on and off and if I were to advise a gentleman I would say go and have fun, dance and socialize but don't expect to be lucky. This is in Nova Scotia and only my personal experience.
