To answer the question "what happened to the good sp's": The problem with the smaller town scene is that if you don't hire the legit local providers, it certainly won't attract the touring ones. If you don't hire the touring ones because you are waiting for THAT special provider who matches your checklist (we all have a limited budget, I get that), it certainly won't motivate more touring providers to assume the traveling cost of visiting a small city. Also, unfortunately, some cities have the reputation to be a bad clientele (time wasters, No show/no calls, etc.). In other words, money attracts honey.

I know there are many wonderful SPs in the area that can and would love to spend time with you. A quality SP can sense your insecurities and she will set you at ease, make you feel wanted and confident, treat you with respect and most of all give you an amazing experience. A quality SP, no matter what the size, color, race or looks of a client, should never make it seem like spending time with you a chore. Your experience should be such that it seemed like time just flew by you enjoyed it so much. Personally I have dedicated "heavier" clients that I really look forward to seeing when they come to me, they are respectful, nice, and a pleasure to be with. I don't consider "attractiveness" about looks and size, it's about respect on both sides, interaction and connection. But saying that, respect and how clients are treated goes both ways. So what SP you are with show her respect and be courteous and I'm sure she will show you the same no matter your size and shape. In my experience ladies who ask for payment in advance are usually scams. That said there are some occasions where it is more normal for reputable ladies to ask for Prepayments 1. Prebooking discounts normally by touring ladies who want to confirm bookings before they travel. 2. Requesting a deposit from a client who has been a no show in the past. 3. Longer duration appointments ie. Over nights, travel etc. 4. Special Requests that will require the lady to purchase items for appointment ie outfits, toys etc And there may be more that don't comes to my mind at the moment. Just my Opinion

A red flag for me is when an account is very new with no recommendations or posts besides the one for a new service provider. For example, if an SP has just started posting in the city or is new to the city, and the same day a “new” account here on LYLA posts a recommendation for said SP. I have also noticed that a new account will leave (sometimes) contradictory reviews when compared to a review by an established member. In that case I go with the established member’s review and tread carefully. Hasn’t fainted me yet. Those with terrible service and con artists are getting smarter and I honestly think that they are starting to deceive those of us on this site who want not only a positive experience but also a safe and legitimate provider. I agree with all the above statements . They are all made by seasoned hobbyist's that are looking for connection and something more. Sadly there are many that only want to know how much and what do we get for $100 or something ridiculously similar. As ladies we need to realize that things have changed for everyone ( if we are being honest. ) Yes we all have sites that direct and inform people what to expect , Unfortunately lots don't even bother to read them and are looking for the quick , less expensive fix. For me and I know other ladies who are honest will attest to the fact the days of lovely letters of introduction are few and far between . I used to get letters through my site and the gentleman was ready to book me . He had done all his homework and all I had to do was check his reference. It was easy and they way it should be, So if we are offended and feel for some reason we are " special " or above this garish behaviour I believe we need to rethink . Time does not stand still and we need to move with the times and still be safe above all. My compromise with this rude and entitled world is not be insulted or feel better that the ignorant "gent ". I'm no one special and again I have to make good solid business decisions. So I am no longer even entertaining seeing new clients unless they do write me a proper letter that we are all entitled to . I just have accepted they are a thing of the past . This acceptance keeps my anger and stress level way down . Life is far to short to feel my way is the only way so I deal with less desirable gentleman the best way I can . For me that means don't get in a huff, I can't change anything . The people that are entitled and uncivilised just don't get to visit . I have enough regulars to keep me going and its them I concentrate on .
