I don't know about any abridged hours at this point. I've started working from home, so getting out will be next to impossible anyway. I've contacted a couple of young ladies I know (some not so young anymore) and forwarded them some advance cash to hold them over the next little while. I trust them enough to know that they aren't likely to screw me around. It's money I would have spent on them anyway.

Well that changed quickly, I will be suspending my services and play it by ear for the time being. I will announce when I will resume my normal booking schedule. I am healthy and well however I'm starting to slowly see people not feeling well and showing symptoms. Whereas a lot of my clientele does travel through Canada I feel that the risk is higher than I first anticipated. I would rather be in self isolation and healthy than self isolation and sick. I got this from a friend today and wanted to share with all of my friends on Lyla. Not sure if this does help, but keeping hydrated is always good. The new NCP coronavirus may not show sign of infection for many days, how can one know if he/she is infected. By the time they have fever and/or cough and goes to the hospital, the lungs is usually 50 % Fibrosis and it's too late! Taiwan experts provide a simple self-check that we can do every morning: Take a deep breath and hold your breath for more than 10 seconds. If you complete it successfully without coughing, without discomfort, stuffiness or tightness etc. it proves there is no fibrosis in the lungs, basically indicating no infection. In critical times, please self-check every morning in an environment with clean air! SERIOUS EXCELLENT ADVICE by Japanese doctors treating COVID-19 cases. Everyone should ensure your mouth & throat is moist, never DRY. Take a few sips of water every 15 mins at least. WHY? Even if the virus gets into your mouth...drinking water or other liquids will WASH them down through your esophagus and into the stomach. Once there in tummy...your stomach ACID will kill all the virus. If you don't drink enough water more regularly...the virus can enter your windpipes and into the LUNGS. That's very dangerous. I made a donation to support this orgainization yesterday for their now cancelled/postponed event. I was intending to attend and have always supported and admired OIC. I think their decision was a responsible one yet the current situation in the world will have a significant negative impact on SW's and they're the least likely to be able to access any government support. This situation will likely put more ladies (et al.) in need of their emergency fund. I encourage everyone to consider providing support to this organization..... and then do it! It is sad that this awesome board is trending towards demise but I'm reaching out to what was the most active city on Lyla, and others, to support our deserving providers. :) cheers, waterat p.s. the current circumstance underlines why it is important, for many reasons, that SW be decriminalized and destigmatized: we can't expect significant progress with a minority government but we can let candidates know that your support is conditional on progress and changes in this area of the law. Picked up some groceries...mostly tinned food, frozen food, kitten food and the essentials, coffee and (no alcohol) beer. I could stick it out for two+ weeks if sh*t happens Then picked up another prescription...my bedside table looks like a pharmacy LOL And truck gassed up...so if I'm quarantined I'll be gassed up with nowhere to go LOL RG

With all the precautions that the government is taking i think it will make a huge difference in stopping the spread of the virus around new brunswick, i have a sister that work as a nurse and she said that the precautions might last a lot longer than two week everything might reopen around april but when in april that a other story.

The provinces and govt of Canada all have excellent websites setup with helpful information. I suggest relying on that. The best thing right now is to limit social contact. For me, that means avoiding hobbying for a few weeks or months. I know that's not easy, particularly for those who earn a living up close and personal. Right now everyone needs to consider taking a holiday or altering dates temporarily to reduce the risk of transmission. Stay safe everyone.

Thoes that knows me around here know I have a background in lab sciences Immunology/serology/doganostic Microbiology. In aseptic work we use 70% Alcohol. Anything less is often not strong enough. Get into higher like 90% and the alcohol evaporates too quickly to be effect.

I realized today how I almost had a close call. I had a scheduled appointment for today, thankfully his employer called him and told him that he was in direct contact with somebody who tested positive out west and was given orders to isolate. That's how easily I could have brought the virus into my home. Hopefully he does not become symptomatic and doesn't get a positive test result as well but better safe than sorry
