I agree with Greenteal above. I think it would be unwise at this time for the ladies to start slashing their rates. Present conditions in the Maritimes right now are still quite safe. I feel that if everyone follows the recommendations of the health specialists we should continue to be relatively safe. I feel that providers should have trust in that their regulars will continue to come through for them. By slashing rates they could attract the ones that they have tried to avoid, like unscrupulous ones who care about No one but themselves. I think providers should stay the course for now.

I'm not going to speak for the entire sw community, but it seems that someone has forgotten that Sp's absorb most of the health risks anyways, and as that risk goes up, I feel, so should our rates. Any Sp's working during the pandemic should charge more, especially if theyre unable to take this time off. I get why many can't /won't do this though, and that's ok too. People are afraid, and some are scrambling to hustle, while some are out to exploit the situation and deserve to be blocked and barred from ever acquiring any pussy ever again 😂 No matter whichever side of the fence you're on, there will be those who choose to hobby through this, and those who choose to stay isolated. I understand and support those who make either choice. I see both sides. No judgement here. In my humble opinion, I definitely don't think we should be considering taking more risks for less money at all though, and I'm sure those who think we'd lower our rates likely wouldn't work through the pandemic for less than their regular wages either lol Patrons do risk being outed or robbed in this hobby, but we risk those, as well as death and disease, more than the average patron, just to partake in this industry. I love my chosen occupation, but the risks shouldn't be forgotten, especially with the cases we've heard about this year.. In Halifax in particular though, we have a history of pushing through crisis, while maintaining a thriving sex industry through it all 😈 I'm optimistic that the community will pull through this as it always has, especially once the fear settles and the isolation period is over ❤️

It's never premature, it's up to providers to decide each and everyday what they wish to charge virus or not. But I was not advocating anyone do anything, its just the economics I was musing about. I believe each provider will have to do what's best for them. I know of one that had a day job and is able to stop working for a month to let the trouble pass, maybe others can raise rates to become exclusive to a smaller group of clients. If I had someone I could afford to pay to be exclusive to me for this period I would do it.

Low rates don't lure people to take more risks, it lures the few remaining customers to pick the cheaper provider over the competition. Assuming business is down (and I'm sure it is) then providers maybe should consider adjusting their rate to capture more of the market share. Hmmm, Maybe with people "working from home" it's allowed more men to sneak out so perhaps business is even up for providers? If so they should probably raise rates instead.

This doesn't really make sense. I don't see what price has to do with safety. Either people feel it is worth the risk to them to hobby or not. Not sure why saving a few bucks should ever impact anyone's personal risk management decisions. The supply/demand curve pricing model pretty much goes out the window for most people when safety is involved. There are however those who will try to take advantage of increasingly desperate people in all parts of our society during a crisis, but that isn't something we should ever encourage.

The demand for SP’s will likely subside as hobbyists will begin to refrain. SP’s with multiple clients and hobbyists with multiple SP’s will generate a risk. I can see everyone being careful for a while. Rates might need to come down as an incentive to hobbyists as the demand diminishes.

Okay so I'm going to chime in here and let everybody know what protocols I have in place. First off self-monitoring is extremely important, I have no symptoms of any kind of even a sniffle a cough or fatigue. So with that being said I feel I am safe to move forward , but what am I doing to protect myself? When you enter my home I automatically will be offering you hand sanitizer and I will do the same. Before we move into the massage room or the bedroom a shower and hand washing and mouthwash is as to be used for the two of us. And of course that practice is used again when leaving. I have taken some options off of my menu. Such as kissing. In between every appointment my whole shower bathroom door knobs massage table is always wiped off with sanitizers that has always been my practice anyway. I also will be asking everybody who wants to visit if they are showing any signs of symptoms at all and if so please do not book your appointment. And with all of this being said I want you to know how important it is to pre-book an advance so that us ladies do have time to make sure our incall is cleaned properly in between each visit. To properly clean in between every appointment it should take at least 45 minutes to an hour. Prebook in advance so that nobody is being rushed. At this point New Brunswick there was one confirmed case, until I feel it is becoming more of an issue I will remain open and move forward cautiously. If you have a compromised immune system, are elderly, are you are directly caring for an elderly person I highly suggest that you do wait and see what happens with this virus first. Please keep in mind many providers may be feeling very pressured and nervous right now. So I highly encourage for any of you wonderful patrons out there that truly care about your companions a gratuity tip or pre-paying on a booking for another date would be very very much appreciated. We are self-employed people therefore any of the government advantages do not apply for us such a sick EI And on a side note, I have noticed and other boards and on Twitter some individuals are trying to use this as an excuse to haggle down prices. Why do people want to turn Lyla into a review board??? This is a recommendation board, and was a recommendation board when it was CERB. If you want a review board there are boards to choose from, this board offers something different, and doesn't want to be a clone of the rest. As for lack of reviews (well first off should be recommendations) how many complaining of the lack of recommendations don't contribute/post any recos of their own. A board only works when the members contribute to it, not just lurk hoping for something to read. So quick answer as to the lack of recommendations, maybe members just aren't writing any or maybe (another possibility) is that the lady doesn't want recommendations written about her. And if you want reviews boards there are three boards (end with ...erb, plus some others) to choose from.
