5 pointsI am FULLY sympathetic to all the intimate companions. Your situation is no different than our seasonal/contract workers. I wish our legal system considered you all as vital part of our work force, and gave all benefits. As for companions fearful of financial hardships - please note that NB Govt has declared a State of Emergency And one of the the provisions is that house owners cannot evict tenants due to non payment till May 31. (read clause 15) - https://www2.gnb.ca/content/dam/gnb/Corporate/pdf/EmergencyUrgence19.pdf also, if anyone is paying back student loans, that is also suspended till Sept. - https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/covid-19-coronavirus-pandemic-student-loans-1.5502179 Anyways, to meet or not is everyone's personal choice - I meet my intimate companion once every 2-3 weeks, and I will do so very soon. I completely trust her, she will let me know if she does not feel okay. One must trust their companion, otherwise the whole idea of 'intimate' is meaningless. Thanks.

3 pointsIf you haven't heard yet.... Tonight at 730pm there is a call for Canadians to step out to balconies and doorways to give our health care workers and round of applause 🗣🏥💙

2 pointsSo we know thorough washing with soap and water to frequently touched spots eliminates COVID 19. So this is a side effect to this epidemic....hobbiests need to keep their frequently touched spot cleansed frequently , something our ladies are constantly requesting.😀. Sorry for the "black humor". I don't mean to diminish the seriousness of the situation. Wash , Wash , Wash. And stay socially connected and physically disconnected .

2 pointsIn no way am I judging other providers of course! And for myself of course I'm facing major financial difficulties. I have the bare necessities almost covered but still have a long way to go for things like a luxury of food for example household items gas Etc don't get me wrong obviously I'm happy to have some of the benefits allowed To Me but it's still going to be a hard few months. What I'm trying to show here is that in Canada we do have the option of paying our taxes to be able access the many benefits that we can receive such as building your credit, getting a mortgage, paying into CPP for old age and in crisis like this we can receive benefits as well. It is difficult time for EVERYONE. 😳

2 pointsI was going to keep quite 😬Choosing not too. I'm not sure how many of you Gents are on Twitter.. Go on Twitter and look/read up on Service Providers are doing. If you don't have a Twitter Account, make one. I'm fairly new to Twitter World, too. The amount of SW's that's going through a Hard time is awful. 😔.... Some are Asking/Crying out for help.... Some are not. Keep in mind that just because one is not asking doesn't mean it's not needed. Some of the Quite ones are Slowing Coming out, asking. Pre-Paying for a future visiting is a great way to help. If it's a Provider you see on a somewhat regular visit.. Why not (if the means is there.. That is). If is a Travelling SP that you do book a date with when she's visiting your city, why not. It's doesn't even have to be prepaying for a future visit. .. $20, $50, any amount would help. Beleive me, she (they) would greatly appreciate it. If been reading on Twitter that some would even take a Basic Rate ex: $250-$300, and divide it between a few Sp's. Sevice Provides provide this service to you.. and you seek this service. I've Hosted Part-Time, keep a Full-Time Job.. And I've also Hosted Full Time.. This being my Only Income. I've Called in Sick to work (may times) to Accomodate Clientele. Not because I had too, because I wanted too. I've called in Sick to work, if I had a Bill (s) due Asap, Why? Because I earn more hosting than I did working. Gents love it, when the SW is available, the more she's available the better for most .. Correct. There are Many Sp's that this is their only income, they are also many the Hosting is a 2nd income.. Either way, most will Suffer during this time. This is all just beginning.. Imagine if this last 1/2/4 Months... A Homeless Shelter would have to be built just for Service Provides. There are many of us that this Hobby is a Secret.. To families and friends. It's our Secret, just like Hobbing is your Secret. Some can't explain to Family and friends why all of a Sudden the Hardship.😬 This isn't the time to be Judging weather SW's are still working or not. This isn't the time to be Judging weather the pay taxes or not and quality for EI. EI, Omg... Which pays not quite Half .. They will still be in HardShip. I know it's not only Sevice providers that will experience Hardship during this time.. Lots will be. We are "All in this Hobby Together"..... Most of us gives when we, share... Even when times are tough. A lot of us know how it is.. When times are tough, and reach out (when possible) to try and help or less the Burden a bit. Anyways, I haven't said all I want to.. But I'll short this up some. Yes, myself.. I'm in France. A visit that was planned a whole ago. I knew the virus was going on. Although, a few days after leaving NB, everything was changing very quickly. I've decided to stay in France my Duration.. Why Travel/Fly and take the risk. I'm Safe & Virus free here.. (So far) France is on Lock Down (Strict) but so is NB I hear.. Maybe not quite like France but it may be coming. When I do return to NB/Canada.. Yes, I know I'll have to be in Self Isolation for 2 weeks. Yes, I'm not Hosting right now.. While in France.. But after Self Isolation in NB (2 weeks) I don't have a Choice but to host. Yes, Hosting will be Current Clientele Only (depending on the Virus Situation). Yes, we care about our Health and Yours and will take/do what precautions we need too. This is No Time to be Judging, Arguing on What's .. What. Can you really Judge someone still trying to Live. Go on Twitter and See For Yourself... It's a Darn Nightmare for many.. This is just the Beginning. Stay Safe Everyone xoxo's💋

1 pointI think we all know that many SPs will struggle financially over the next few months. Each of us also know the regulars we enjoy and trust. Want to help someone you care about? Simply send a $150. deposit now toward your next booking. And next month, do the same to another of your trusted regulars. This allows for some cashflow to live and pay bills. Some don't need it....but many will...ask! Lastly, this is not the type of service to be pressurizing for discounted rates. Creating pleasure and enjoyment, with a smile, takes a rare combination of professional and personal skills...full fee payment is our best way to say "thank you".

1 pointI too would recommend Express VPN as the best. I have been using it since 3 years and it really works well. They have loads of VPN sites that you could connect to all over the world. I never had to use the customer support yet, but the only downside is that it keeps dropping sometimes and at times it is frustrating trying to connect again and again. I do not recommend Nord VPN since they had a security incident a few months back and they screwed up the privacy and reputation.

1 pointI just got back on Monday and I'm also glad that I did go. It has been 4 years since I had last left the country for a holiday down south, I used to go every year before that.
-
1 pointI'm just glad I got away (and home again) this winter before everything went to shit. Pure dumb luck, but I'm grateful for it.

1 pointOk, just my opinion. I definitely do not think that providers slashing the rates is the answer as it may attract unsafe clients in various ways. I also do not think that a rate hike is the answer as some of the regular trustworthy clients may also go through financial setback and it may make the provider out of reach. I still feel the best way is to stay the course. Clients can plan and work with present rates. I hope that who feels ill will not go and contaminate sws. I think that most SWs get to know their clients and know the ones that they can have confidence in. I hope we all stay healthy and can work together to weather this

1 pointI'm not going to speak for the entire sw community, but it seems that someone has forgotten that Sp's absorb most of the health risks anyways, and as that risk goes up, I feel, so should our rates. Any Sp's working during the pandemic should charge more, especially if theyre unable to take this time off. I get why many can't /won't do this though, and that's ok too. People are afraid, and some are scrambling to hustle, while some are out to exploit the situation and deserve to be blocked and barred from ever acquiring any pussy ever again 😂 No matter whichever side of the fence you're on, there will be those who choose to hobby through this, and those who choose to stay isolated. I understand and support those who make either choice. I see both sides. No judgement here. In my humble opinion, I definitely don't think we should be considering taking more risks for less money at all though, and I'm sure those who think we'd lower our rates likely wouldn't work through the pandemic for less than their regular wages either lol Patrons do risk being outed or robbed in this hobby, but we risk those, as well as death and disease, more than the average patron, just to partake in this industry. I love my chosen occupation, but the risks shouldn't be forgotten, especially with the cases we've heard about this year.. In Halifax in particular though, we have a history of pushing through crisis, while maintaining a thriving sex industry through it all 😈 I'm optimistic that the community will pull through this as it always has, especially once the fear settles and the isolation period is over ❤️

1 pointThis doesn't really make sense. I don't see what price has to do with safety. Either people feel it is worth the risk to them to hobby or not. Not sure why saving a few bucks should ever impact anyone's personal risk management decisions. The supply/demand curve pricing model pretty much goes out the window for most people when safety is involved. There are however those who will try to take advantage of increasingly desperate people in all parts of our society during a crisis, but that isn't something we should ever encourage.

1 pointThere is an app I suggest more Canadian providers get onto, especially East Coast as we tend to catch onto these types of things later in the game. Download Client Eye App! Start reporting these WOT and NC/NS to make it easier for all of us to screen out the habitual time wasters, abusive, harrssements.

1 pointAre you a manager, receptionist, driver, booking agent or coordinator in the adult industry? Do you work in an erotic spa, an escort agency or a dance establishment? â?¦ If so, we would love to hear from you. We are researchers from the University of Victoria working on a national study of manager and owners in adult industry businesses. We will be in St John's from April 13th - 22nd to do interviews. We want to hear about your work experiences, your interactions with clients and workers, and your opinions on workplace health and the law. All interviews are confidential and anonymous and we provide $100 in exchange for your time and expertise. We want to know: Who are managers and what are their workplace roles, responsibilities, and experiences? What skills and knowledge do managers possess that are important to their work? What factors influence relationships and interactions between managers, clients, and workers? What are management views on health and well-being at work? What do managers think about Canadian laws and regulations which affect adult businesses? More info about the research: We are part of a large national study which involves several projects looking at various parts of the sex industry including clients, workers, managers, regulators/law enforcement, and intimate partners.
