I'm taking this opportunity to learn new hobbies. Today I'm learning how to crochet and knit. I'm also thinking of business opportunities, and would love to learn to quilt so I can sell them online. I love sewing so its a great fit. I make dog coats too for my friends and neighbours. No time like the present to start something I've never had time to dedicate to it.

Day 2 of lockdown in NZ and it's not so bad. I've been motivated to dedicate more time to self-care, so I've been exercising more, my skin is glowing and I'm eating lots of healthy food to keep my immune system strong. I've also been calling friends and family more, and catching up on personal and business projects. The earth is having a chance to breathe as everywhere in the world, people slow down - it will be very interesting to see what comes of it.

No, there's nothing illegal about having sex work be your sole source of income! Feel free to PM me if you'd like the name of the accountant I've worked with. His rates are very reasonable and all was done properly and above-board. I just had to compile totals of my income earned and claimable expenses, and he took care of the rest. There's no reason/need for the CRA to have specific details of your clientele/who paid you for what, so there's no reason to worry about your clients being outed. Just don't give them that info as they don't need it 🙂 Good luck! There are definitely advantages to filing your taxes - proof of income to help you get a mortgage or other loan, peace of mind, etc, etc!

I don't want to pass judgement either, everyone has their own life and obligations and needs. Myself, I am taking a break for as long as it takes. I've gone without sex for long enough periods of my life that I know I'll survive. I will point out that long before COVID-19, there were other less contagious reasons to be cautious of this hobby of ours. 44 of Newfoundland's 67 cases can be traced back to one traveller who went to a funeral instead of self isolating. In a week that could be 400, in another 4,000, in another 40,000. I won't have that on my conscience. And the day it safe enough to visit an escort again, I'll remember who kept working. That's not judging, it's risk management.

Anyone have any input? Seems scammy to me lol.

Yup. Wrong. Danielle is correct. Most girls WILL require a deposit. If someone tries to meet me without a SP reference, I ask for ID and a 20% deposit.

Just remember, the government really just wants your tax money. They don't actually give a damn where it comes from as long as you're reporting it. The "self employed" section is pretty vague. I have 0 "proof" of how much I actually make, so it's basically just plugging in numbers, and paying ridiculous amounts of tax haha

That's a good point - I believe my accountant filed under the very broad category of 'personal services', but there are many options.

You don't file as an escort. There are many different types of categories you can file under. An accountant can help you decide which category to file under. Unless you are earning money from social assistance (which limits the amount of extra income allowed), you are not under any obligation to divulge details. So many of our expenses can be claimed, thereby reducing our taxable income. Get the ball rolling. Ten years from now you will be glad you did.

I totally agree , I had the pleasure of seeing ts Laurence and it was incredible! Ms manda, I have been dreaming of the day I can see you .... and if my heart would hold out I’d love to have that duo as well sometime soon!!!

Economists, ecologists, etc. will be studying this for decades. How often do you get to make changes and see what happened. Don’t get too optimistic about climate results, however, we’ve been mucking that up for quite some time now.

Needs deposit. That always seems to throw a flag for me. Most reputable providers if not all that travel don’t require upfront payment

Im a CA/CPA. All income earned, whether through legal or illegal activities, is taxable in Canada. CRA Wants their cut either way. It is legal to sell sexual services in Canada, so you're good either way. Unless you are keeping invoices with client's real names, contact info and SIN's the likelihood of getting a client in trouble is nil. If you've already filed taxes for 2019 or prior years it could create a problem to now go back and amend returns and report self employed income. You'd perhaps have penalties for falsely filing the originals. Amending one year would not create a problem unless you omitted income in the past. If you haven't been filing you still can, however, you'd need to reconstruct income and expense for 2019. It would also be difficult to resolve this on a timely basis. Getting sometime to prepare your returns & having CRA process them will take time.

I haven't Claimed Taxes of this Hobby eiher. However, I am going to start. I got some info from another SP that has been for a few years now. It sure its as bad as I thought. Example: Claim As a An Adult Entertainer, You also can claim the bare min, claim expenses. In the end, you Don't Owe the Government anything. Sara, I will talk to my Friend (SP) that you want to know more info about this, and maybe she will Reach Out to you...She can answer your questions .. 😘

I would suggest talking to established SPs and see how they do it and learn from them. Wish I worked for CRA 😂

Timetourist, thank you for the good wishes. But, yes, unfortunately it is very serious and while generally I feel physically OK that day side effects of my treatment hit me. Never hit me whenever I see the super hot nurse at the clinic who I am not having sex with, but do hit me at the most inconvenient times later. I do not mind telling details of the conditions but I do not want to seem ego-centric and talk about it if people do not care to read about it. After the above comments by Biker Dude I wanted to add that yes, Francheska is a francophone. She seems to have excellent comprehension of english but has trouble expressing herself at times. But only at times, she can improve but certainly hold a conversation.

I liken her to that bookish girl at university with a rockin' body. Definitely made me feel like I was 20 again...for an hour or so....sigh.

Exactly! We are in this for the Long Haul. Canada has more "Postive Cases" than they think. They just aren't "Testing Enough". New Bruswick Has More Cases, they aren't testing enough. Most likely the case all around, in most parts of Canada. Clovid 19 has hit Canada before they said it did. Anyways, Shaming SP's choosing to work.. No way! There's No Shaming the Hobbyist for still Hobbying! It's one's choice, their own decision. Everyone needs to survive, weather it's a Virus Crisis, War, or whichever. There will be one's the "Still Seek" and there will be one's the "Still Provide". Unless your going to open your Pocket Books .. Don't Judge. Everyone needs to Survive ... Including You!

I have tons of online content. I have also switched to mostly skype. However, regulars, I know and trust, still have availability. In the end, flu or HIV... anyone is taking a risk when having any interaction with any human. May the odds be ever in your favor and I wish you all the best.

I decided to give Michelle a try and I'm happy I did. Firstly the pictures are real but they do not do her justice she is gorgeous. Secondly she is such a sweetheart and has magical hands. I am definitely booking her again in the near future.
