Oh my oh my! To start I want to thank you for helping me out on the virtual side as I deal with the damage on the physical side of my life. I have been recently outed by someone I befriended and was trying to help. Lyla has asked me not to post anything at this point hoping things will blow over. I will respect it. She is now trying to be me. Please be cautious of ads and such saying I am working or second accounts that are being created. I want to let you know I AM NOT WORKING during this time. For safety, and privacy during Covid-19 I will not be working. I don't want to risk anyone's privacy, if I come into contact of the virus I would need to let health authorities know everyone I have been in contact within the last 14 days. Yeah I saw that. If the pic used was stolen from your facebook or twitter or whatever, you can make a DMCA request/threat to remove it, and they will. That might mitigate things for you a bit. As far as I'm concerned, outers risk being taught a lesson by the business end of a baseball bat.

Ad is back up. I see someone said the pics were stolen, but they look like the Maci that I met before. Enjoyed every minute, and would 100% repeat when this pandemic is over.

Since this thing started last month we have been ordering our groceries over the phone and got it delivered but what made me mad was that we ordered curds(on the list of items) on a Tuesday and they only delivered on Saturday and the curds were dated from Tuesday so not fresh anymore. So this week I decided to go out of the house to do groceries and showed up at the local store where they offered a sanitized cart, walk in and start with fruits and vegetable. There was a man harassing a young lady by getting close to her even after telling him to stand back, she offered him to go ahead of her and he refused. I was standing far enough from them but could hear everything well. I could see that this young lady was getting mad so I approached the scum bag while keeping my distance and told him to relax and back off. He ran to me and all I can say is that there were 3 hits. First he hit my face with a fist just below the left eye, then I punched his throat and then he hit the floor. For those that don't know me or seen what I look like here is a little description of myself. I'm a 53 year old retired fireman and I stand 6'2" tall and weight 230lbs, I took martial art a while ago and not afraid of much. I have had so much injuries fighting fires and getting people out of vehicle that my body is immune to that sort of stuff. I grabbed that dumb ass and dragged him outside while he was looking for his breath and I told him to get the F*** out of here. Someone had called the police and I had to fill out a report and now forced to be quarantined because of this douche in case he had something. I do not regret doing what I did, and I'm not a violent man, I only used force like this 3 times in my life.

I have looked into them a few times, but upon reading the reviews of even the paid apps, none seemed reliable enough for me to trust my business with on a regular basis 😞 They may be ok for the occasional user just looking for discretion, but I need something surefire that won't potentially fail me, crash, delete contacts or important booking info in the middle of a lengthy tour as I've seen them do with my friends. The glitches seemed to not mind if the users were premium or not 😞 As well, literally anytime that I've tried to post a contact number, anywhere in the country but Mtl, I've been met with not generally less than pleasant texts and calls, fake bookings etc, so for my sanity, I prefer to know & control who has a direct line to me.. My emails have never failed me, and I have no issue sharing my number with those who really need it, especially after we've met 🙂 But in almost 8 years, I've only even considered posting my number a few times, and tried even less due to the headaches. I always end up removing my number after a few hours Props to those who can handle accepting texts and calls from strangers lol

I'm curious about the phone number requirement as well.. I've been here for almost 8 years, and never post my number publically; I don't think I'm the only one who prefers to keep theirs private. I do not book people via my phone number, for many reasons. I have tried over the years, but the problems outweighed the benefits, so prefer to be more selective with those who receive a direct line to myself Does this mean that I can no longer post ads here? 😞 I'm well established, have been verified independent here for more than 5 years, and am verified on both leolist and VIPFavours, as we as having 7 pages of reviews on here, and a decent 11k following on twitter.. I don't break the rules here, and only ever got a warning on cerb back in 2012 It'd just be a shame to have to decide between my privacy and Lyla, especially after all this time 😞

I have a couple of issues with this. I'm not sure that making an URL mandatory is great. Not everyone has their own website, and for those who don't... why must they then pay for ads on LL, etc? Or would you be OK with a link to an ad on another board, or another advertising service that isn't associated with you guys? That satisfies the requirement above, but I suspect it's probably not what you're trying to achieve. And in any case... the idea that an ad has to link to another ad seems kinda contradictory; an ad should be self-contained :) Why is a phone number required? This will probably be a deal-breaker for quite a few independent providers who prefer initial contact and screening to be done by email, and don't hand out their number to anyone until they have a confirmed appointment. You've broken their screening model with this requirement, and that will probably just drive them away. That's... OK, but I'm not sure that it's great to insist that ads for online services *must* be there. Many providers usually/always post in just one forum, and people who know where they're based will look for them there. I see no particular reason to effectively ban them from advertising in their usual spot (which is what this does), especially given how tough things are for them right now. Could you allow both?

I haven't seen anyone in a looong time (also, currently reside with a LL girl, so...) , but when I did (or do in the future), I only see SP's who allow filming. I find the session goes too fast and leaves me in a haze - having a visual reminder is excellent. I was thinking last month, when seeing all of the ads still, about creating a new "No fly list". But I can understand alot of MP/SP's having to still do this as they're maybe living pay cheque to pay cheque (like alot of us) and they don't have access to EI (government failing). What I do think we should be doing is noting and praising those providers that did put the brakes on their business for their safety and ours. They'll be the ones hurting financially. We can decide to either send a gift/advance or give then or business when this is all done. I tried to do this on the other board (twice). Threads were deleted and I was given a 30 day ban.
