What these companion seekers / hobbyists (both provider of address, and the receiver) did was WRONG. Period. 1) Wrong, in general - because even I will be quite agitated if someone gave my home address to someone without my consent (email ID? okay ... but personal where about, absolutely NO) 2) wrong, specifically for companions -- because many use their own homes/rented homes as hosting places. That same address is used for their children's schools, may be other business (I had a companion who was part time home renovator), jobs (another companion's son was using that address for his work), driving license, bank accounts, etc ... and such breach of privacy can be devastating. In a small province like NB (where I am from), almost every one knows everyone ! One of my former companion was forced to change houses, because some people kept spreading her location, and it ended up in her inner circle ! I don't know how this can be prevented, but it was undoubtedly WRONG !

I have a two step verification process for giving out my location to clients. I send them to an address of a Tim Horton’s near my place and once there, get them to confirm with me their arrival. Only then do they get my street address. Once in awhile I get no shows but at least they don’t know the unit I’m in until I see they have parked. The other day I had someone tell me that I gave them a fake address that didn’t exist which was totally inaccurate. I am not sure what kind of game he was playing but he was very rude and insisted there was no such street. I said to him if my address is fake why would you post it and why would I pay for ads to mislead someone to the wrong place. I called his number And fortunately it went to voicemail and I got his real name. Am I worried? Not really but we do take risks and clients need to respect our booking protocols.

I've had people PM me and ask questions about providers. I'll usually answer any questions but the 3 questions I don't answer are: 1) How much does she charge. (Just ask her) 2) Does she do XXX. (Again, just ask her yourself) 3) Where does she work from. For #3, when asked I'll give a general area (IE Clayton Park) but I am unsure why people want to know exact addresses. All three of those questions are asked fairly often.

Didn't say it was safer, just a different option to use for payments. Personally I'd rather not have a third party (PayPal) tracking my spending, if I can go get a prepaid visa card, and give that to a provider over a link from Square. Unless of course you have a semi-anonymous PayPal account, using a throwaway secure email account, while connected on an anonymous VPN, and input the prepaid CC into your PayPal account and send the payment to the provider.

Sadly places like OF do not accept Pre-paid CCs. I have heard of lots of men experiencing declines messages. This is yet another reason I created my own site to manage payments. So that anonymous billing was available. I have heard of guys buying amazon GCs or very discretely and by trusted clients only, using PayPal as you can use pre-paid CCs for those.

FWIW I think you probably did the right thing; despite the fact that he has absolutely no right to a refund, having him smash your place up would have cost you a lot more, probably... and that's not to mention the trauma of having it happen. And if he'd turned on you personally it would have been even worse. But yeah... block, blacklist, spread the word to other providers if you can, and if there's any justice no provider will ever see this asshole again.

My experience, here in Ottawa, has been that most providers only offer location during an immediate pre-meeting phone call. Doesn't offer complete discretion but does limit the risk of that being easily and inappropriately shared. That is how I make paypal payments for my adult stuff. It is discrete but totally throw away info. It is only to make payments though, not accept money. For that, I transfer through two other PP account before finally accepting to my account that is bank linked. Square works with many online platforms. A lady can set up a website with shopping cart features like wordpress with woo commerce and then link a Square plugin and payment will run through their site and billed to whatever name you create for that company. You can create many different companies as well with one square account. All done online and not needing to be in person.

Another option for payment for providers, while not anonymous in the least, is "Square" . It allows anyone with a smartphone/tablet and a bank account to accept credit cards for a very small fee, and also debit cards (if you buy their upgraded reader). Charges appear as whatever you name your account, so it can be "Book Seller" if you want.

Yeah. This. If I was interested in online services, paying for it would be an issue. I know cryptocurrencies exist, but I'm not entirely convinced by them either. Thanks for that - I wasn't aware of it. Although that does mean the provider has to be able to take credit card payments, which isn't always the case.

It will depend on several things, including how the current easing of restrictions goes and whether or not we start to get an increase in cases again... and whether or not that's enough for the government to walk back the opening of things. I'm sure the spas will also be watching each other and once one or two open the others may feel obliged to follow suit. And finally, just because the spas themselves re-open, that doesn't mean all the MAs will be back. They also have to make their own decisions, which will be based on their own personal circumstances.

We will have to agree to disagree. Not like having my location can't set me up for blackmail as well. Give me a street and I can locate anyone. I can then get their name, plate numbers and vehicle information, spouse info, kid info, friends and family, work, etc. It doesn't take much. Again, it is my private home. But I get that you would put more emphasis on protecting clients over sex workers. That is generally how you feel about clients vrs escorts anyway. I stand by my post.
