Id like to nominate @NotchJohnson he's been extremely active and supportive, senior member of lyla from waaay back and never skipped out like people like I did lol Gents like Notch never lots faith and kept this site going. Ok, so there's an Amazon Prime series called "Wayne" . It's set in the US, from Massachusetts through Florida, but definitely filmed in Canada since all the supporting cast are in every other Canadian filmed show/movie. Kinda fun playing "Spot the Canucks" . Anyway. On the surface it's a super violent and profanity laden show. Underneath that it's the story of 2 teens who have lived terrible lives full of both mental and physical abuse from their parents/family, who find each other and go on a journey together. The writing is great. The 2 main characters are incredibly well developed and the young actors inhabit their characters perfectly. There's a slapstick tint to the violence, but if seeing blood is a trigger, definitely don't watch. It's a story of love, loss and redemption. Highly recommended if you can see past the surface.

Unfortunately for Nova Scotians, she based out of Toronto but I had an appointment with her in Halifax a few weeks ago. Hopefully, she'll come back soon! Sad news, one of the old guard, Old Dog passed away yesterday. He was one of a kind, well known for his participation.in CERB, a great supporter of the socials in Ottawa, and will be missed for his sense of humour. Although he wasn't too active in the last few years, we shared a bond, we were both proud grand dads. You will be missed, RIP.

I'll miss him like hell. He was a great guy. And for those of you who don't know what you missed... his advice, delivered in his own inimitable style, lives on.

A member here who always could put a smile on my face and a positive force both here and the socials. He will be missed and always appreciated and respected by many members here. Have to admit I hope it was his heart and not covid-19 that took him.... RIP Old Dog.
