Oh, gawd... where to start? Double-dipping? Yes, they do it in porn and it's probably safe enough... but you don't get the see the hours of decidedly unsexy cleaning that goes into making sure you can do that without getting infections all over the place. Choking? From what I've read, this is becoming a huge problem. I'm assuming advertising is still free on lyla - in the past, agencies and massage businesses (and the providers who worked there) were charged some sort of 'commercial' membership fee - identified by a username in red. @Yourfrenchlady (company account) is the only example I've noticed and I think that's a recent change. Many of my local SWs stopped visiting lyla as they rarely had 'traffic' generated from the site so I doubt it's sensible to charge for advertising but with more recommendations, more advertisers and more respectful discussion; the value of this 'non-toxic' recommendation board would be enhanced. #2 Boom! #3 I notice this sliding into the lyla forum mostly due to clients who haven't done their homework, have unrealistic expectations and simply import toxic review board culture. The source of much of this comes to us via leolist which, while having some sort of a business relationship with lyla, is not our friend. Square isn't adult friendly, and I believe will close our account should anyone report us, as well as make it hard to claim our balance when they do. Too risky for my liking Chargebacks are also an issue, which is why some of us don't absolutely hate the other platforms that allow us to process payments; even with the hefty charges that we have to pay to use them, unwarranted chargebacks are more easily avoided with the middleman. Joe blow may not care about screwing over an Independent sp for 300+, but one tends to reconsider when it would come with a ban from his beloved site

As my bank doesn't show who transfers are being sent to or received from I assumed this was the case for everyone. I'll be making a second (third?) e-mail for this exact purpose.

Hey Selena, someone may have already done this but just in case, Ill do it too. I know Lyd already linked it for u but these days knowing basic tech is important to your independence so Ill give u a few tools real quick. Theres 2 ways to give someone your twitter link. - One is the way most have here, to copy/paste the URL. (URL simply means the exact web address.) So when you are signed in to twitter, go to your profile page. U can do this 2 ways. Click on either your avatar (that means your little profile pic. My avatar is to the top left of this msg. (A long haired girl with a star for a head). Or on the left you will find the word 'Profile'. Both will lead you to your profile page. - Take your mouse up to the URL (Web address) and right click on it You should see the option 'Copy' (if you dont, click on 'Select all', then again for copy) - Then all u gotta do is go to where you want to paste it, right click again and left click on paste and it will appear. You can do that with anything. you want to keep. If using a phone, u just press n hold your finger over it. Another far easier way is to just tell people what your handle is on there with the @ sign in front of it. So it seems like yours would be @SelenaDiamond2 Another great piece of advice I can give you is a saying "GIB" it stands for 'Google it bitch' lol Google is amazing and so is youtube. Just go on google and ask your question and google will tell u how to do stuff. If its something where a visual will help go to www.youtube.com and type in 'How to ....; and you'll find plenty of videos showing u step by step what to do and even some problems u may encounter and how to get out of it. This is true not only for computer stuff but anything. Wanna remove tarnish from jewelry? Its there, wanna fix a broken PS4 controller, its there, need a make up tutorial... good god its there! lol Google and youtube have saved me so many times! And Im not too bad with tech. I highly recommend taking some time to learn as much as possible as an independent SP. This is how we market ourselves right, so the more you can do yourself, the more you get yourself out there and the less u have to pay anyone. And we all know how hard it is to find good help when so many arent SP friendly and the ones that are know it and take advantage of us. I've had zero formal training with computers but when I started I built my own site and any time I need to change anything instead of texting and waiting to have it fixed and paying, i just go in and fix it. For photos, instead of paying someone to remove my face and tattoos and knowing someone will have the exact same pix but with my face and tats on there... im the only one who ever had it and I destroy the originals when Im done. Even when I get a photog, I insist on my own memory card. It saves me money and the piece of mind is invaluable. Then when the pandemic hit I needed to find a new revenue stream. I looked at options like Only Fans and found it a total rip off. So instead I did some research, chose and downloaded a video editing program and I now have my own porn site. Didnt cost me a single cent at a time that i would NOT have gambled money not knowing if itd be cost effective. I just picked stuff up along the way and its never too late to start. A friend of mine who is also an SP was very intimidated by tech when I met her. I taught her the copy/paste thing too. She didnt have a website but knew how important it was to business. Issue was, she had the same story Ive heard way too many times. She put something like 1000$ down and the person just dicked around and screwed her over. I encouraged her to just go on weebly, wix, squarespace or godaddy to build her own website. Basically if you can play a game on your phone, u can build a basic website. She said she never tried a phone game so I offered to build it for her at a far more reasonable price.And now she maintains her own site and I very rarely get so much as a question. Its amazing watching her blossom in independence and see the little things she creates online. It sounds dumb but u just have to believe in yourself. It seems SO intimidating at first. But u dont have to know how to fix a computer to use one. Its just that most find it daunting and also arent aware that there is free education out there. I really hope this helps you. Remember GIT when ever u are stuck or wondering something. These things will become second nature as u go along and youll learn more n more. I hope nothing here sounded condescending. Since this is a growing issue I think it would be acceptable to allow these types of warning posts in the BAIT AND SWITCH area. So... if you show up and the provider baits you into thinking they're offering services and then calls a guy in with a big dog to chase you away, runs away or takes your money and locks the door, asks to go to the driver and pay and not return, etc.. etc... (we know all the scams). Well... technically this is robbery and you should inform the police but with BP it is a growing scam and it can be dangerous as usually a guy is involved in the background so you can post that as well in the warnings section, especially for senior members (Members with higher post counts). Now... if you post a warning like this and it turns out to NOT be true and your just trying to discredit a provider... or say you show up drunk/high/mean/smelly/etc... and they ask you to leave with a good reason and you try to get back at them and post lies about them our good members here will let me know and I will ban you from the site permanently for abusing this feature on the site. If it's a valid dangerous encounter, scam or bait and switch you can post it here in the correct WARNINGS forums ONLY.

Providers offering a discount or anything special in exchange for a recommendation are breaking the rules of Lyla. Recommendations & positive reviews should come naturally, if the SP is paying for them they are SHILL (fake) and not warranted. Guys... please report any post or comment where a provider offers a discount of any kind in exchange for a recommendation. We don't want fake recommendations here (it does none of you any good).
