Hey Lyla, I have seen a few providers in Halifax over the years, some of whom allow rimming (I give they recieve). Does anyone have a recommendation for an SP (or an SP who would like to advise) who enjoy this/or have experience with it? Thanks!!

Such smart women, both of you! Love the questions and the answers from the younger generations. Hello! Look how articulate and smart they are. Will comment more. I'm still busy feeding my animals this morning lol

I’m not assuming it was noticed or that I was missed... but just in case anyone is under the assumption that I have retired, have left Lyla or am particularly ignoring them, none are the case. I will say here & now, I will never ignore anyone. If I don’t reply, either something is up or in cases of texting, I may just be looking out for you, so try again. I’ve indeed been available throughout the pandemic, offering CovidSmart sessions. i also always have and always will love this wonderful community of ours. For reasons beyond anyone’s control, there was a ghost in the machine that was blocking me from gaining access to my account. Lydia and I have worked on it together and have finally resolved whatever it was that was happening. So I’m back on Lyla. I am still available in Ottawa and for those who joined btwn then & now, here’s a belated welcome from me. I hope all of u have been staying safe through this past year. I look forward to reconnecting! Sending u my love & affection, JessyCeleste xoxo xxx www.JessyCeleste.com

Thank you @Ava Maria Love and @lydiahardwood this was a great interview and an interesting read on review boards. All I can say is that I am thankfull we have a great review board here for both service providers and clients.

Oh, gawd... where to start? Double-dipping? Yes, they do it in porn and it's probably safe enough... but you don't get the see the hours of decidedly unsexy cleaning that goes into making sure you can do that without getting infections all over the place. Choking? From what I've read, this is becoming a huge problem. There's an entire generation of men that have grown up believing that grabbing someone's throat while you fuck her is an entirely normal thing to do. Fingering? If you go at someone's ladybits the way they normally do in porn, you're going to hurt her. This is why an increasing number of providers just don't allow it at all. Spit? If the number of "spit is not lube" posts I see on Twitter is anything to go by, this is another big one. And honestly, all the rough sex you see in porn. Hopefully that was all negotiated beforehand, but we keep reading horror stories about people who go beyond what was agreed on shoots. And even when that doesn't happen, it doesn't help with the people who get the idea that you can just start the slapping/jackhammering/whatever else without talking about it first. And on a less serious note: a lot of the positions in porn look really uncomfortable to me. But I guess they're driven by the need to let a camera in to see what's going on, which isn't a concern for most of us.

I get the feeling that these people have been on (or seen what happens on) boards, and just decided they don't want any part of that scene. Which is a shame. Thanks! Actually, for me this is probably the thing I like most about boards: we can have this sort of conversation. The main alternative for communication these days seems to be Twitter, and you just don't get it there. There's a lot of stuff which is too complex or nuanced to go into a tweet. And the other problem with Twitter is that anything you say kinda disappears into the void very quickly; it flies though people's timelines and then... nobody will ever see it, unless they make a point of going to your profile to see what you've been saying. But here, I can respond to a post from five days ago as easily as one from five minutes ago, and I don't miss stuff that happened when I wasn't online.

Thank you @Mikeyboy @clearbluesky15 @Phaedrus @waterat For the time and attention you have given to my interview . @Mikeyboy I am so with you in the appreciation of @lydiahardwoodit is so nice to have found a board that is a civil and positive place , without the toxicity that a few boards have . It is truly refreshing . @clearbluesky15 Yes I agreee it is important for both client and Service providers to remain open to discussion in this civil way to facilitate learning how to be better as Providers as well as clients too . @Phaedrus I am sorry to admit that a few people have mistaken me for one of those ladys, the "all boards are toxic" type , but that has never been my beleif or attitude . My mind does not paint in broad brush strokes , generalizations or stereotypes, I was fortunate last summer to use the London Sugar board in Ontario and the Caf board in Calgary , on my cross Canada Tour , and I did enjoy both of those boards . I looked forward to beng on the east coast and being active here on Lyla . I was attempting to go coast to coast but , the East Coast was closed or I would have been active in the maritimes for a few weeks , one day I will make it . @waterat #1 thank you so much for such a great reply , first point , Love learning all of this , it is brillant. #2 Boom ! , YAY!!! #3 you pretty much summed up what a lot of newbie or ( urgent ) clients do to thi own determent . They simply rush the process and or settle then post negativity that is often unwarranted , if they did thier homework they would not get scammed and or find a better fit . I need help with the "Leolist is not our friend " ? part of your comment ?,I love Leolist I am legit and reputable , and I think my ad stands out as so on there, so I love how easy it is to screen the men contacting me from there , by thier approach lol , its not hard to tell the men that did not do thier homework ,so I kindly educate them , so they can be better clients for me or other ladys in the future . Whew I did it , was kinda nervous , I have often and recently had my words twisted beyond reognition, so I do have a little apprehension and anxiety replying to new people . BARE lol with me , nothing I say is ever written in stone , I reserve the right to change my mind , and break the unspoken internet law of including typos lol wink wink .

Name calling....I was doing doggy style with a sexy 20's girl and she turned around and said "how do you like your daughter's ass this way...Daddy !", lost my erection right away. I don't have a daughter only a son but having that image in my head was just an instant turn off. I can imagine the same with a lady if she was called "bitch", "whore", "slut" etc... she might be into it but this should be discussed between both parties before it happens.

I don't think this is new, particularly. You get this sort of thing with any online community (or real life one, for that matter); some people take the time to read/listen and get a feel for what the community is like before they engage, and some people just make assumptions and jump right in, and some just don't even realize this sort of thing is an issue. The latter types are the ones that there's issues with - either they think they can get away with the same shit they pull elsewhere, or they just don't have a clue what's OK and what isn't - but they generally either get straightened out reasonably quickly, or figure out they're in the wrong place and leave... or leave with a bit of assistance :)

First off, a thanks to @Ava Maria Love for sharing her thoughts and insights with us and, again, to @lydiahardwood for conducting these interviews, This one gets directly to what I feel is the heart of the lyla community. The answers to these three questions all identify the merits of lyla that deserve our support and engagement. #1 Benefits of lyla membership identified. I'm assuming advertising is still free on lyla - in the past, agencies and massage businesses (and the providers who worked there) were charged some sort of 'commercial' membership fee - identified by a username in red. @Yourfrenchlady (company account) is the only example I've noticed and I think that's a recent change. Many of my local SWs stopped visiting lyla as they rarely had 'traffic' generated from the site so I doubt it's sensible to charge for advertising but with more recommendations, more advertisers and more respectful discussion; the value of this 'non-toxic' recommendation board would be enhanced. #2 Boom! #3 I notice this sliding into the lyla forum mostly due to clients who haven't done their homework, have unrealistic expectations and simply import toxic review board culture. The source of much of this comes to us via leolist which, while having some sort of a business relationship with lyla, is not our friend. I don't mean to step away from the thanks expressed in initiating this comment, nor as a hijack, but to promote some discussion. Cheers, waterat

Thanks, @Ava Maria Love - it's great to get a provider's perspective on this stuff, especially given how unpopular boards seem to be in general. Whenever I see boards mentioned there does seem to be a general approach from providers that "all boards are toxic". I can see why people would say that, but it's good to know that not everyone believes it. Boards can choose to be as toxic (or not) as they like, depending on what the people running them choose to allow. This is very good news; if we have more SPs coming for this, maybe a few of them will feel inclined to post in the main board while they're here...

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Seriously, you guys are the best. I do my best to keep looking forward, we can't let the bad stuff/people break us. This year has been a whirlwind of a year. I think I may be getting to have some closure soon. I wouldn't have been able to keep my head up with out a bunch of amazing people in my corner. Thank you to all of you! My vote for this month is @charlottequinn123! There was enough times (whether she knows it or not), that she has been able to help keep me going. Between our fantastic duos (Thank you to the amazing men that have made them happen), being there to let me vent or just let her talk away over a cup of tea. She is one amazing person to help lift everyone up.

Square isn't adult friendly, and I believe will close our account should anyone report us, as well as make it hard to claim our balance when they do. Too risky for my liking Chargebacks are also an issue, which is why some of us don't absolutely hate the other platforms that allow us to process payments; even with the hefty charges that we have to pay to use them, unwarranted chargebacks are more easily avoided with the middleman. Joe blow may not care about screwing over an Independent sp for 300+, but one tends to reconsider when it would come with a ban from his beloved site

Hey @Mod_Cat! Thanks for posting this. ❤️ I am also happy to see the "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" back on the header of the site. I was a bit worried when the site changed and the tagline was removed. Yay! ❤️

Since this is a growing issue I think it would be acceptable to allow these types of warning posts in the BAIT AND SWITCH area. So... if you show up and the provider baits you into thinking they're offering services and then calls a guy in with a big dog to chase you away, runs away or takes your money and locks the door, asks to go to the driver and pay and not return, etc.. etc... (we know all the scams). Well... technically this is robbery and you should inform the police but with BP it is a growing scam and it can be dangerous as usually a guy is involved in the background so you can post that as well in the warnings section, especially for senior members (Members with higher post counts). Now... if you post a warning like this and it turns out to NOT be true and your just trying to discredit a provider... or say you show up drunk/high/mean/smelly/etc... and they ask you to leave with a good reason and you try to get back at them and post lies about them our good members here will let me know and I will ban you from the site permanently for abusing this feature on the site. If it's a valid dangerous encounter, scam or bait and switch you can post it here in the correct WARNINGS forums ONLY.

Darling Cristy, yes there is a HUGE difference here - all my intellectual property is solely mine, watermarked, copyrighted and DMCA protected, so yes if another wishes to reproduce my work - there is an ISSUE and one I won't take lightly (and neither will others) Someone linking your blog into a thread is not harming your intellectual property in anyway and its no different than someone linking a news article in a thread. Had you copyrighted and protected your material, then you might have a case about your material being posted.

Hey guys. Please bear in mind that explicitly mentioning sexual services for sale, posting nudity or porn are all rule breakers and could end in a suspension or ban from Lyla. Escort ads are allowed, but any language offering sexual acts aren't, including abbreviations. Same with pictures. Underwear/lingerie - go for it. Nudity and pornography is a no go. You're all sensible and don't need hand holding on this one, common sense should prevail! Anyone doing this will be suspended. Reviewing every post that goes out is time intensive so if you see anyone posting content like this please flag it for us so we can keep on top of it! Thanks team. Lyla xx

I personally have never been a fan of the best of threads...be it who gives the best (fill in the blank)______, who is the most beautiful etc etc etc Companionship, even paid companionship is about two people getting together for a private intimate encounter. And no two encounters, even with the same two people can be exactly replicated, each encounter is unique. Companionship and encounters are definitely YMMV. Making it about who's the best makes it a competition between ladies. Best of threads demeans, IMHO encounters which can be very special and intimate A professional companion should be focused on providing the best companionship she can provide. She shouldn't have to worry if she is as good or better than another lady. Put another way, I know when I see a lady I try, and hope I am, the best gentleman and client I can be, I don't worry about what some other guys do. And I wonder how many guys would be fans of the ladies putting out best of threads such as "who's the best client" and so on. A rambling RG

True true, question is a question, a thread is a thread. Not sure if this is CBJ VS BBBJ tho? I personally do not really care for the " best of " threads, as it can exclude some SP's ( unintentionally) and leave some feeling hurt or left out:( This is where it usually goes all astray, with hostility and feelings of competitiveness rather than comrades and support.

I do see what your saying Cristy, however, I feel that this is such a subjective topic, that it is difficult to say who gives the "best" . For some, gaging is hot, for some it is a turn off. Some like sloppy, some like a bit of teeth, where other's shiver at the idea of teeth. In this case, I think it is a trial and error, and be sure to communicate to your SP what you like the best. This is the same for any activity. But dont think asking a question is stupid at all, we all learn from asking. But perhaps a less subjective question would produce more accurate result? As RG said, best to look in reco, then PM the lady that you feel would be your ideal playmate:) Communicate with her, then give it a try:) I am sure any kind BJ is going to ultimate experience:)

Might I suggest looking through the recommendations for Halifax...it may, and I say may, be mentioned in some ladies' recommendations although many do prefer to leave intimate details of an encounter private But discussing intimate details of an encounter publicly on a board, seems IMHO somewhat inappropriate. And reiterating Emily's point, isn't who's the best really subjective A rambling RG
  50. 1 point
Dont really think that is an appropriate question, as services depend on the lady offering them and what one finds the best another may not.
