I agree and thank you for the support! I would have went more in depth if I wanted to and felt comfortable to. I do understand the curiosity though of others, just not being able to understand and wanting to. As for turning a negative to a positve: I have had way far less bad things happen since I've chosen to enter the industry as a sex worker. I don't have to see anyone I don't want to. I get to pick my clients as much as they get to pick me too. That's created so much healing on its own! Honestly, I was having sex often and was going on lots of dates anyways for a while and a friend was like "hey, I work at this agency, come check it out". I talked to Rikki on the phone at Black Orchid Agency, then for Victoria, and started there the next day and didn't look back. She made me feel welcomed, powerful and strong, when I first started anyways. I then had a lovely woman, come into my life and she showed me the ropes as an independent. I worked at agencies part time and worked independent part time. As I gained more experience and gained more healing via varied therapies, counseling, writing, dancing, learning to fish etc. I met another provider who toured often and she also taught me a lot more about boundaries and self empowerment, and I became independent full time.

I was a little floored when she was asked about her trafficking experience. That was an incredibly intrusive. She would have elaborated if she cared to. Being a victim doesn't mean you have to be physically snatched up or coerced to the point you are helpless. It can also involve mental manipulation and intimidation. It can also effect more women than just young pretty helpless teenagers. We all matter 🖤 In the future I think it might be a little more respectful not to ask someone to elaborate on their abuse unless they are willing to freely offer it. I would be curious to hear the answer to @Phaedrus question. Could be a good chance to speak about turning a negative experience into something positive and beautiful! If you care to share but you don't have to. I think I have a bit of curiosity behind your answer. I wasn't forced into trafficking I did start this line of work on my own quite young due to an abusive experience. I would be curious if our opinions were similar at all. So there are a lot of online directories that try to get into the adult advertising game by scouting out ads on popular sites like LeoList, copying the ad, stealing the pics and content, and placing them on their site. It is a way to make the site look full and busy and hopefully bring in traffic to start making it profitable. Well, I have had 4 “sites” steal my content now. 2 of them have actually edited my pics and taken out my watermark. I ask politely to remove my stolen content and one company actually said no. So I went above their head to their hosting company and got them shut down. Don’t steal my shit and I won’t fuck up you site! Now I have an escort all pissed off with me saying it is my fault that thousands of women may be out of an advertising source because I got the site shut down. How is it my fault? The site was unprofessional and stolen my content. Content creation is a huge business. I take a lot of time and care, {as you can see by my site} into my ads, my pics, and my content. I work hard at making my content. I watermark my stuff for a reason. I don’t want to have to start having my watermark bold and covering my body to ensure it is not stolen. That is not fair to guys viewing the pics. Am I wrong for going to the hosting company? I know it is not my fault they got shut down. They stole my content. They refused to remove it, what else am I suppose to do? Lyla members are little more leveled headed so I need to double check. I am not wrong here, right? It is not my fault that other escorts, some survival escorts, loose a possible advertising source? I know I am privileged in that I am white, have another income source, can work independently and I have put my foot in my mouth before when comparing different aspects of this industry and have been insensitive to other survival sex workers, so I just want to double check.

I chose to become a sex worker from a past of being trafficked, based off of getting my power back. Becoming a sex worker really made me realize that I do have say in what I do with my body and mind. It's been a very healing and liberating experience. I've learned where my own boundaries stand and don't settle for anything less. There's not enough money in the world for me to back out of my boundaries now.

I'm from a small town in Ontario not far from Ottawa and here the cyclists will ride on the street in the same direction as the traffic unless they are kids then they use the sidewalk like a pedestrian. I have no issue with them but like you said when I visit Ottawa for my fun time I have to be double vigilant because you never know when one will cut you off or slam in your side door. Are they allowed to text and ride their bikes at the same time? I don't think so...but some do. I agree with you on this GT !

High Five @Jenesis for taking the next step for getting that shut down. As an SW we pride ourselves on Integrity and being able to give our clients a sense of trust. Stealing our content doesn't help the battle we face for 'proving' ourselves. After all, all we have is our reputation. As Notch said... ... It doesn't take long for names to be slandered with the wrong postings and content. I have had ads site completely butcher and makes claims about services I provide, that I don't. If we stop caring about our content being true to ones self, then I would stop paying for photo shoots and go use stock based photos. There is a lot of work, time and effort, that goes into making ads and paying for them. Why would I spend time in creating for things to be stolen and loose credibility? It's not just our buisness that this happens in. It's across the board in all industries. It's why tech security is one of the fastest growing industries we currently have. Overall, I think, you did the right thing. We need more sites of integrity that both sides of the buisness can trust and go to.

It was my real content they stole. They did remove my watermark which makes it easier for others to steal if they were deterred by watermarks before hand. I tour and the ads posted were in norther city locations for a tour I did 2 weeks ago that I won't do again for another 2 months. I pride myself on accurate info. This leads guys to thinking I am available in their location when I am not. Attempts at booking that I then have to decline. The extra admin work that comes with that is a pain. I delete my own LL ads after I visit a location for strictly this reason. And one site, while I was continuing to search today, had an old ad from my old name that I have been scrubbing from the net. Thankfully that site took both ads down this afternoon. There is no physical harm, but as stated, I am a brand and that take managing, creative content creation, and lots of time. I don't need that fucked with causing me extra work, possible image issues and needless annoyances.

No blasting @Steampunk, as a consumer of the services of these ladies I would hate to see one ad with fake pics (they are fake if it's not the person opening the door and offering the service). So assume I travel for business and see the same pics in another city and assume they are fake again but this time they are from the original poster and not fake? She would automatically lose a client. I've been in business for a long time and I can tell you it takes a lot of time to earn trust from clients and your name can be ruined in no time at all. Canada yes. I was underage and a number of events in my life ended me up in a sex trafficking situation. I will spare the details, for my own personal story and not everyone needs to know absolutely every part of it. I definitely try and keep a positive attitude. I definitely don't take it lightly sir. But I have also done a lot of personal healing and growth, that I've been able to overcome some of those hardships. Living in a terrible past, doesn't open up avenues to a beautiful future. Those things happened, and they weren't sound in any way. All I can do is hold my head high and be proud of the accomplishments I've made on spite of my history.

There are two Kimmy's who advertise in Moncton. One is a member on here, @East Coast Kimmy, she is GREAT!!!! Keep in mind she hasn't been around since provincial Covid restrictions were implemented. I feel the need to start this thread, due to the lack of respect and attention to following simple instructions lately. Ive worded this in reference to no one, just a generalization to a few things. You contact me, we go through screening and agree on the date and time. You are told you will be contacted a few days prior with details to confirm. 3 days prior you are emailed with detailed instructions with a number and a date and time frame to call and confirm on. Scenarios as follows: Scenario A) You don't call within time frame - Encounter is cancelled and time is available Scenario B) You email letting me know you cant call within that time and we agree on another time in which you don't call - Same result as above - encounter cancelled. Scenario C) You call and confirm and encounter goes ahead as planned Scenario D) You email the morning of to ask if we are still on, yet I never heard from you - What do you think the answer to this question is? Scenario E) You leave a voice mail with we emailed and Im calling no name, number or anything else in the message - Chances are the encounter will be cancelled as its very rude to call a number back and say Who's this? And Ive asked you to call me, for discretion I would rather not return the call unless I have been given the ok to do so. We have a system in place that works for our own personal business, if you dont wish to follow instructions, dont waste our time. I value your time and respect your wishes on privacy, discretion and everything else. If you value mine, why does one feel its okay to not follow the simple instructions that I have given. I can be flexible with my confirmation policy when you let me know in advance. I ask you to call as that is how I confirm my dates, I wont email or text you any details so you have to call (my confirmation email is very clear on this), at this point if you don't like this policy it is your time to say that you are declining our date, I wont get mad as I would prefer your honesty over wasting my time and that of someone else who would have enjoyed the visit, but due to the games someone else has played they were unable to visit. When I ask you to call when your parking - I MEAN it, dont call from the lobby if I have asked you not too(considering discretion is SO important, why does the fact that your calling from in front of the hotel staff and repeating the suite number aloud not strike you as indiscreet?) Just because im not a revolving door, does not mean I want attention drawn to myself at any time. I enjoy the places I stay and wish to keep it that way. I also enjoy the company that I keep and NEVER want to jeopardize anyones privacy ever. You provide me your number and ask me not to call, I follow your instructions so how hard is it to show the same respect to mine. For an industry where discretion is key, I am just astounded as to why it is expected from me, but not returned by you.

Emily great reminder for all. I have no problem following a ladies process. And as said if I'm not comfortable then I find someone else. I too HIGHLY value discretion and am always amazed how understanding and professional the ladies are with my restrictions. Respect up front and thru the process sure makes for a great date.
