Having a lot of time on my hands and out of boredom a few days ago I decided to take a look back at this industry over the past few years (8). Now this was done for my own benefit as I strive to always learn. I search several sites including this one and I found it fascinating. Many familiar names that I see now were active then also, both SWs and clients. However many have moved on. I found the interaction between groups were quite respectful and cooperative even while competing. One aspect of the business that seem to have gotten worse in the last 3 years or so is the issue with no shows, late, contacting often without booking ( time wasters) . This led to another practice that was not mentioned often before was that of deposits. And more and more they becoming a must. Not sure why but the attitude of clients has changed. They seem to be somewhat less respectful. Fortunately not all as I am SWs can attest but many have. I get that mostly from reviews and discussions I have read. Some reviews were actually a waste of time reading. I don't think a play by play description of the visit is a review. Also the wording of these shows a lack of respect for the lady. This seems to be a trend where clients view providers as a commodity or another tool in the tool box. They forget that SWs are women (mostly) who are willing to share some time with a client Anyway this has also led to the ladies losing respect and trust for clients. However, this is not a general trend and I was glad to conclude that we continue to have a good industry going for us. One where both clients and SWs can enjoy time with each other and feel safe and respected and appreciated.

Well, I wouldn't spend flight tickets money to see some talents out of the province. I would, if I will on vacation or something. IMHO it's more a chemistry between you and the provider. There some overrated ladies who for me were not big deal, and also some aunties with whom I feel free to ask something tailored for me. It took me 2 years to find some favourites, but still, a lot of people won't like them. It's very personal. Keep trying, and maybe repeat the person who you don't like. I remember once there was a lady (not here anymore) who was pushed to me. The one that I wanted was busy and I got the "new girl" talk. Anyway, eventually I became her regular.

Yes I does make it hard for us BUT we wouldn't have to ask for deposits or other means of security if we didn't have reason to I have been in this industry for along time and I have always tried to give people the benefit of the doubt and over look deposits to only have my time wasted..people sometimes like to take advantage of others when they can I feel alot better now asking for a deposit knowing I can secure my time at least Especially when I am inviting you into my personal space If uncomfortable with sending a deposit or I.d they can always contact a lady that doesn't require one

Now that covid is a little less threatening and restrictions are lifting I am considering another East Coast tour after graduation. It might not be for a few months but thought I would pop up a few research posts up and see if planning a trip is worth it. Open to suggestions on areas or routes to consider. Hoping to hit every Province on the coast and curious how I should plan the adventure. May have a friend bringing me out again in August as well. My rule is to avoid the ads using the words "Moncton's finest". A local group who are far from the finest. Shaddy, old/fake pic, terrible service (if you get service), etc. Book with caution!!
