Incase anyone has seen the post in the scam section about me I’d like to clear it up and say it’s not true, I don’t even take deposits (unless it’s for a very early morning) or someone unwilling to send reference or ID (which hasn’t happened since my return) which I’m sure people can vouch for if you’ve seen me the last 3 weeks since my return. unless this person was scammed by someone else using my photos (which I have no record of happening) then I think it’s bullshit. I have had issues with stalkers and other things which was apart of my long hiatus and need for ID or references from other providers when visiting me now. it seems their back at it again, if you do happen to take a look you can see the account was made 14 hours ago and this is the only post they’ve made. I will not be bullied out of this industry. I have lots of wonderful clients who can and will vouch for me. I’ve been around for 6+ years and consider myself a very kind soul. The thing with screening is that it is I think a catch 22. Most screening at this point in time comes from the service provider where she/he may ask to provide references and id checks. There in lies two problems. Not all service providers are comfortable being used as references in this industry; it all depends on their comfort level. Also like one the previous posts, what if SP used as reference flakes, ghosts or even blocks your number as they are uncomfortable knowing you are using another SP. The more SP's seen the more health risks are possible to each SP involved. Sometimes in this case, ignorance is bliss. That and what happens if the SP requesting the references are unhappy with the references as they don't know/trust/etc. the SP's referenced. Then what? Ask for more references? It's not like hobbyists keep a big list of references. Also SP contact information is very unreliable. SP's change their numbers all the time for all sorts of reasons. Then the second problem here is providing ID. Some people are in the hobby being completely anonymous. Providing valid ID immediately stops that. It is the same reason SP's almost never use their actual names for the services they are providing. If SP's don't need to provide valid ID, then why should the client. And there in lies the rub. What if the client wants the exact same screening level as the SP. Will the SP be willing to do that as well (i.e. providing valid ID, references). There is inherent risks involved from both sides of the hobbyist/SP relationship. The hobbyist looks at an ad and tries to pic a SP that they think will be a good possibility, someone that won't scam them of money they worked hard for and they can have a good service delivered. But every hobbyist knows and most likely has experienced being scammed by the SP. Stories of threats from friends, surprise pimps, boyfriends, and cops, forcing the hobbyist out after the SP has taken the money without any service is rampant; in some cases, the stories are so bad, that the hobbyist is happy losing the money cause they got out with losing their life. These types of encounters happen all the time because all the hobbyist has to make the decision is a simple ad; there is no confirmation of character before actually meeting for the first time. So okay, the hobbyist agrees and gives you the references and ID's to your satisfaction. What if the hobbyist says okay can you provide all the information I gave you for screening questions? Would you be willing to provide references from fellow SP's? What if the hobbyist has never heard of or even seen the SP's you have referenced? Would you provide others? Would you be willing to show your client your valid ID? Safety and healthiness is always going to be an issue in the SP/hobbyist relationship. In an ideal world, everyone would be 100% truthful and sincere. But everyone knows that is not going to happen. It all starts at the level of the name. SP's will make a name they can use that is different from their birth certificate names to keep what they do anonymous from their loved ones and families. Likewise the hobbyist, will likely be doing the same thing. Character judgement, is a two way street; as I said, all the hobbyist has to select an SP is the ad that the SP puts out. If the hobbyist provides an equivalent, is that sufficient for the SP as screening (most likely not). I don't know if there is a solution for this situation that is acceptable to both parties involved.. Looking forward to see what other think.

Because what you're saying is potentially very damaging to this provider, you're better off putting this information in the "Warning" board with the details of your encounter. There are a lot of providers that offer "some unprotected services", so rather than level a "loose" accusation towards her, stand behind your experience with the details that can be further confirmed by others.

Escorts and providers are interchangeable terms unless you mean something that I'm not picking up on. (Providers covers FSBM and Dom/Fetish providers too I guess) When Backpage went under, Leolist was only 25c to post, and there was a free bump for each ad per day. Now obviously had to change, with increased traffic and that's fair of course! But before covid they were rapidly increasing their prices and adding all these little nickel and dime upgrades, to where the cost of a basic ad already matched what Backpage charged- but now if you didn't pay for the upgrades your ad got noticeably fewer clicks. They hit pause on *most* of the price increases during the worst part of the pandemic, but as soon as things opened back up last year they jacked them up again and completely abandoned any pretense of moderating ads based on their own rules, which is why in a addition to flood of stolen pics there's so many butthole/vagina/cumshot thumbnails too, real classy place 😒. They just really DGAF. The MINIMUM they could do, even if their prices stayed high, would be to require every poster to verify the way Tryst, Vipfavours and a few others do. It wouldn't completely eliminate scams but it would drastically cut down on them. (Seriously if you take the time to reverse image search the thumbnail of nearly any unverified ad, 9/10 times it will come back as stolen from Twitter, OF or porn) But they won't because while they're still the big fish, they still make bank and don't have to do more than the bare minimum work. 😪

I remember backpage (before the end of times) having “reposts” cost around $10 CAD in Ontario and around the same cost for Alberta. Some places of BC cost $12+ per “repost” Leolist has now added bots (the fake ads that are completely generated by them and the “sponsored ads” from other websites) These bot ads usually push us to post a bit mode frequently than we would, & the price hike goes hand in hand with that (IMO) Just their business model, I guess.

So I noticed in their recent blog Leolist tried to make the narrative (paraphrasing) "we are only accepting Litecoin now because we believe it's a truly free currency blah blah"...I call BS on that! I suspect Visa and Mastercard revoked their right to process payments through them...why would they willingly limit their methods to take payments especially when they slapped on a ~$2 fee every time to add less than $75 in a sitting? It's an absolute money hungry cesspool, they don't care about their well-intentioned users because they know scam ads push our ads down the list further forcing us to keep paying and paying. Just yesterday they made a LTC conversion error in the users' favour (I was given about $30 credit for $12 spend) I thought "huh, maybe it works out sometimes"...today they tried to put my balance into the negative! I emailed them and they reversed that decision, but they still took the extra credit out of my account which is unfair when it's their mistake and they make money hand over fist regardless. Sorry for the longass rant, but I hope and think more people are seeing the light about what trash LL is now. I definitely let as many clients as I can know. There are alternatives, I just think more people need to be made aware of them. 🤔
