Yes, Halifax has its benefits. It's a relatively short distance to get from one place to another, as long as you're not traveling during rush hour. It's a charming little city during the summer months. It has the basics one needs for existence. Thanks to global warming, the winters are becoming milder and milder in this part of the world. The people are friendly to your face. There are lovely parks and coastline just an hour's drive from downtown.
