Being from Toronto and visiting most major cities in Canada regularly for work, I can say fairly objectively that Halifax probably has a decent amount of providers per capita, but Lyla doesn't provide the quality of info that TERB, PERB, CAF, and MERB do, so that makes it very hard to sift through the LL crap - I never see anyone from LL without a cross-reference from a board review. To that end, there do seem to be some very high quality providers in Halifax, but in recent years what is with the requirement for full Government identification? I mean I get why ladies prefer this, but by the same token, part of the reason to pay for this service is anonymity. If I wanted people to know who I am IRL, I would just jump on tinder or seeking arrangements, etc. I must say this is almost exclusive to Halifax. Anywhere else if you have 20+ references from reputable providers (including local ones), excellent respectful communication, a long standing presence on all major boards, and you're willing to send over an amazon or starbucks (or GC of their preference) as a deposit, and offer a verification call to the hotel (although NOT using my real name) that generally gets you a booking. Except it seems in Halifax. I feel terrible for the bad experiences these ladies must have had to cause them to have these unprecedented requirements and make absolutely no exceptions even when it's clear they are dealing with a very professional client.
Now to end on a positive note, and make a contribution that is actually useful, I have had several great experiences with Amara (GeekyGirl902) https://www.lyla.ch/profile/227671-geekygirl902/ - including earlier this year. She's lovely to talk to, very sensual, and a lot of fun in a giant whirlpool tub π
