I can see both sides have valid points and hard to find a mid point. Just following on what KittyCaterina was saying, perhaps a fair mid point would be if a known reputable local provider can verify the out of town girl then that would give clients some sort of assurance. I know this puts extra pressure on the local SP and probably not good for their own business, but I feel the SP community is very supportive. Also wouldn’t expect the SP to assure the quality of the experience or looks bc beauty is relative, but at least confirm that the out of town SP is real, pics are accurate… just sharing some thoughts

One issue is that SPs who come from larger cities charge rates accordingly. They come to Kingston with those rates and realize that the majority of potential clients here are unwilling to pay above 280HR if that. Clients here are also generally very deposit UNFRIENDLY. Many touring SPs rely on deposits to ensure a certain amount of serious bookings before arrival. Hotels and travel whether it be gas or a train are very expensive nowadays. Cancelations can be very financially harmful and those unwilling to give a deposit are usually also unwilling to pay a cancelation fee if no deposit was given. When I tour, I require deposit. In Kingston I don't only because I am based here. My regulars are amazing. BUT, the amount of new clients who cancel or don't show that REFUSE my cancelation fee is really sad. Even some past regulars have done this after multiple cancelations when I get tired of it, and they all get blacklisted. I don't eff around anymore. My clients either respect me and my time, or they don't (good riddance) This weekend a young gorgeous SP was in town that I know and in 3 days she received TWO bookings. It is not the one or two Asian Agencies who are threatening new SPs. It is the fault of the clients here.

I know providers who used to tour Kingston but with the price of hotels and the number of no-shows and the reluctance of most clients to send deposits, it’s just not worth it anymore.

And honestly, why shouldn't you? Hobbyists discuss providers and share notes all the time, so it's a reasonable assumption that providers do as well. In fact, it's probably best for the mutual safety of providers to do so. It's arguably the more dangerous position to be in, and bad clients ruin things for everyone.

I’m with Danielle, I think it’s glossed over on this forum just how much we, the providers, risk in providing such an intimate service. She’s right in pointing out that we do keep notes of who says what and it could be a determinant if we want your business in the future. There are so many great reputable women here in Halifax, do your research, and follow their screening processes. We put these in place for a reason and I can honestly say, do not care to or would never, disclose a client’s personal information. That puts our reputation and business at risk.

I think it is just not worth it for a touring girl to come to Kingston unless she has an established customer base and knows she is going to have enough customer to make its visit worth it. Gas, hotel, meals are more expensive now and people are not able/willing to pay higher prices. With so many fake ads and bait and switch and little reviews, It will probably take her time to build reputation to ensure a large customer base. They are not willing to make the investment when probably they can make as much money on OF with zero risk. Unfortunately, I do not see the situation changing. It is sad, I remember there used to be many local and touring girls available at the same time no more than 5 years ago. Now, you are lucky if there is one in town in any given month.
