Yes Dreamer, they are people too. I could not agree with you more. The problem is many of them are not doing this willingly (That is the BIG difference). When you pick one up are you taking advantage of her circumstance and exploiting her? No matter how you justify it if she is in a bad situation / circumstance and is not streetwalking because she wants to be than you are taking advantage of that person (another human being). Exceptions do exist (as I already stated) but most of the women on the street are not in a good place and from a brief sexual encounter do you really know? I grew up in Toronto and maybe it's a little different in Ottawa but I do visit Ottawa often and from what I have seen it does not look much different. I really wish this was the case and I am sure some of the SP's who now have computers and even members here may have once been working on the street and found a way to make a better life for themselves. A handful of ladies have told me they started on the street and hated it but were able to escape the streets and make a better life for themselves (but again - it's the exception to the rule). Most of them say that they were lucky to escape the streets when they tell this story. As for not discussing streetwalkers on the site I think the ladies who are members here don't want to see posts encouraging guys to go pay 30.00 for a bj - in fact a previous very popular thread causes a LARGE number of the ladies to PM me in distaste that I was allowing that thread. I let it go as it was 3 pages long before I even read it and it looked like you were all helping a lady who was looking for a way out (and you did). You guys want a SP friendly site where the ladies are comfortable and where they can come and join the discussions with you. I am working hard to make that work for you all and having this topic on the site is not going to help but will hinder these efforts. Keep in mind that most streetwalkers are in a very bad place - no one works the streets because they like to do they? I don't think so. The general public are often not able to differentiate between streetwalkers and escorts (they group them all together) so it causes a horrible stereotype for the legit ladies. Most of the negative stereotypes come from problems with street level prostitution as most of the really bad stuff happens at that level and you will find that most of the stereotypes are very true when you discuss streetwalkers and very opposite when you discuss the legit escorts and SP's that you find online. For heath reasons, You do have a much higher risk of STI/STD infection from having sex or any sexual acts with a streetwalker. Remember her living conditions are probably bad and hygiene and safety are not on the top of the list when you are addicted to heavy drugs. The only think on your mind is your next hit. If that doesn't stop you think about this... if your addicted to drugs and supporting your drug habit with streetwalking are you going to let a little think like a period get in the way of your next fix? (Just something for any of you guys thinking that 80.00 a night is a good deal) As mentioned it is also illegal and highly policed in most cities. Supporting streetwalkers is only helping support the pimps and drug dealers and the negative stereotypes that this industry has to deal with. Most of the time the women never see a penny of the money they make as the pimps take it all. Most of you probably know all this already but maybe it will help you think twice about doing it in the future. I (and many of the members I am sure) would prefer that this site be about escorts/courtesans/callgirls (Not streetwalkers) - technically they are service providers but I sure others feel the way that I do and think it is inappropriate discussion for this site.

Wow.. you guys could actually bump me out of the top spot. Congratulations Pete. I think people walking around with jackets saying "I posted 1000 times on cerb.ca" or even "CERB ELITE MEMBER" (lol) or something along that nature... would be good advertising for the site in all but... well... we are working on making the industry more acceptable but the public is probably not ready for that yet! ;) Years ago I managed a gentleman's club (Now this may give my identity away to some but I will share)... It was in a smaller town but has a big factory (Car manufacture & all the parts factories that make parts for these cars) and the gentleman's club was 2 minutes from the factory at most. We wanted to do a promotion with t-shirts that the ladies could give out to the customers (That is always a big hit) so we had 1000 shirts printed with the logo (The bar was called "Outskirts" as it was on the outside of town and well - the ladies got out of their skirts so to speak... the slogan on the shirts was "I party with out skirts" and it had a silhouette of a beaver looking up a girls dress (Sounds very tacky and distasteful but honestly - they actually were very tastefully and were on really high quality shirts - but if you looked long enough at the shirt you would figure out what the shirt was all about). If the ladies feel the impact (Business slows down significantly) you will see lower prices but not until it effects them directly - new people enter into the business when the employment rate drops causing more competition.... so the ladies would get hit from two sides (Less guys spending money and more girls working in the same area) Good news is right now business is good for most of the ladies and guys are still spending money for the most part so I don't think your going to see a drop any time soon.

One by One if that is what it takes. The business does not follow the same rules and conditions that any other business or service does but still people try to compare it to other businesses or try to outline some type of structure to it. It is what it is... a very PERSONAL exchange between people (each exchange with each person will be different and no two visits will be the same - It is way to personal for that to happen and way too many variables - some people will enjoy the time and others will not - If we were all compatible and all had the same likes and dislikes we would not have such a hard time finding a suitable life mate and everyone would probably be monogamous)

You guys are not going to make friends here is you keep referring to the ladies as meat or any type of tangible item. You can not compare this business to any other business in the world - the ladies are selling a service of companionship. When you find a "Gem at a special value" I would hope you don't take advantage of her and that if you are happy with her service that you tip her appropriately and let her know you appreciate her service. Be assured that as soon as she realizes that she is underpricing (often due to financial situations, new to the business and naive, etc) rest assured the price will go to where it belongs or she would just be too busy to keep up with the demand (and too tired) Quickly the level of service would start to go down as she will get burnt out - she will eventually realize the price needs to go up! If your searching for bargains and deals you should go elsewhere as I will not allow price comments and complaints on cerb. I will also not allow anyone to openly comment in any rude or negative way towards the ladies. Telling someone in this business that they charge too much (no mater what level of service they provide) is considered rude and will not be allowed. Please keep that in mind and be sure you guys don't offend the ladies with your comments - if the ladies flag your post for being rude or negative your account will be suspended (or banned). My suggestion is to those who think a ladies price is too high is to move on - find someone that is in your budget and not complain. It is her choice what she charges and asking her to lower the quality of her service for a lower price for you is dumb (and rude) and negative comments about ladies prices are not permitted on cerb as I (and most of the ladies) find this insulting. If a lady actually did this she would be risking her reputation by offering a lower level of service (Mechanical & cold service) to accommodate your price. and the comment about "Toronto Prices" is funny! Toronto has prices from 50.00 to 1000.00+ so making a comment like that is silly! Prices in Halifax should actually be HIGHER than in Toronto because the selection is much LOWER (Supply and Demand). The reason you see high prices is because your selection is limited and the ladies who are in demand can raise prices and stay busy (work with high reputation and quality appointments while being very selective - they raise prices as they do not work off volume). Hmm, That could explain some stuff.... but they did manage to get it all back together. This is the third time this month but with all the updates to the hardware I guess we had to expect some problems. A big software update is in beta testing right now so I am sure we will have a few rough days when that is released as well (Probably in March). Murphy's law right. It looks all good now but it does take up to 48 hours for the DNS to resolve so some people may be still having problems (especially outside of Canada) but it should be resolved soon.

I wasn't even thinking "alcohol or drugs" when I read the initial post. I was thinking of porn or toys. LOL... That is a god point however alcohol or drugs are a VERY bad idea (1) they could add to the bad performance ability and (2) many SP's would turn you away if you were noticeably intoxicated. If you are having performance problems Viagra or cialis may be all you need (ask your doctor first however of course).

A common tip is to look for a lady who is recommended and try to find one that is good with first time clients (certain Sp's have a real skill for this and if you ask around and read some recommendation I am sure you will find those ladies - they are usually older ladies who have been in the business a while and love what they do but occassionally some of the younger ladies are just naturally good at creating chemistry with new clients)... Second you may want to consider a multi-hour booking with this SP as it will give you time to chat and feel more comfort. Look for recommendations of ladies who people have "chemistry" with.
