I would not say "guilty until proven innocent" but I would say you have to earn your credibility on boards like this. See BOO here just posted a message about Michelle_MA but only has 2 post count and did not give any details (so this post in most peoples eye's are not credible... but if you know this to be true maybe the next time you see BOO post you may give him a little more credit). Until BOO has some credit/reputation here I would recommend taking caution on his recommendations or doing a deeper search to see if other more credible members agree with his recommendation here (Many do in the case of Michelle). It could have been a shill or it could be legit (in this case it is legit) but I would do more research because of his low post count at this time.

If you see a recommendation this means that someone (or some people) have had positive experiences with the provider - it does not mean you will have the same experiences but it greatly increases your chances. It does not make any guarantee that you will have the same experience but what it does do it reassure you that someone before you felt the service was good enough to share the experience with others. Here is my problem with your post (Randy36). Your initial post says "Today I was with a sought after lady on the site and my experience with her as well as her placed totally sucked" I read this as meaning you chose someone who was recommended and had lots of positive comments... correct? If she was sought after then she must be one of the more recommended ladies with lots of positive posts be a number or members? Later your reply says "there should be a rule that only after a certain number of positive reviews (say 3) only the lady would be added to the recommendation section" and this leads me to think that maybe you chose a recommended lady who did not have a lot of recommendations or was posted by someone with a low post count? It reads like you are trying to attack or discredit the recommendation area because it failed for you (or for some other reason). At least that is how I am seeing this... As for the low post count... No rule needs to exist for this, really what that boils down to is "Is the person making the recommendation credible and proven themselves here" or "Is the person making the recommendation a new user or possible low post count or potential SHILL post". You can see everyone's post count and you can see all the posts they have contributed to the board (Use this to help you decide if the person making the recommendation is credible and this will allow you to make a informed decision). Now it is possible a fake (SHILL) recommendation was made (It would be impossible to prevent that and we have removed some in the past already) - usually when a credible member PM's me to let me know that they had a very different experience and the post may be a shill I take a much closer look at the posting. PM me and let me know who this is and why you feel the recommendation is not valid. I will look into it and I may even contact any of the credible members here who may have commented on her recommendation to get some more info. Together we can weed out any of the bad ones and I will remove members and recommendations if found to be false (Shill). I am sorry your experience did not pan out for you as a positive one but reading some recommendations before making your decision on booking someone is still a much better plan to avoid disappointment in the long run. As you can see from the many many many replies and comments on this site (it works for 99% of the active members here).

Welcome to the site a-lone42long, your credibility will grow as you post. No one is viewed as credible when they first start out (it's a trust issue and you must earn the trust from most members). ... just the way it is.

I am going to leave this as Jessica has chosen to respond instead of reporting the original post. If this escalates however I will need to suspend the peoples accounts here that are involved in any of the negative comments. Like ulixestrojan pointed out... This is the wrong board to choose to bash any person (or agency) in the business. The only time we allow negative comments is (1) if a dangerous situation happens or (2) it's bait and switch (and we have a special area for both). When you make a comment like "Blow Me" or "Dickhead" it escalates problems, is immature and has no place on cerb. If you are unable to discuss issues in a mature way you will be removed. This could have been handled much better with some feedback to PK letting them know where they need improvement or a better worded example. I think feedback is important to any business and this type of input could really help out a company like PK and also with Jessica's replies it gives you all a insight to how difficult it can be to try to please everyone. It's not easy to run an agency - in fact everyone who has ever tried always says "I thought it would be so much easier" (I hear this a few times a month). Keep in mind ... I will not allow anyone to bash any of the ladies or agencies here and you will be given a infraction, suspended or banned from the site for doing this.

Bad client experiences and dangerous encounters can break even the most grounded providers spirit and if the provider is having a moral dilemma about being involved in the business then she will probably feel remorse and guilt as well and have a moral battle going on in her head. Shame is also borough on by this moral battle. Most of us are brought up to think prostitution is wrong and sex out of wedlock is a sin ... etc... etc... so many people have a real hard battle with this. Really no one here should ever look down on you as a provider for what you do. If someone does then they have their own issues to deal with as they need to pick on someone to make themselves feel like a better person. You provide a very needed service! It's your body and your choice to do with it as you want. If you set your price and some asshole says your not worth that then he is not a client you want. He is trying to beat down your self esteem or is just really cheap (Either way he is a bad person - much like the high school bully). You should laugh it off and move on! Realize he is just a cheap asshole who has no respect for you or the industry. Wash your hands of people like that and don't let them get to you. If you are fighting some moral issues about being in the business then you will burn yourself out as well. Be proud of what you do, stand up for yourself and hold your ground. If you let people take advantage of you they will... it's human nature.

You beat me to it Cat, I was just writing this when you posted the comment THIS IS TURNING INTO A PISSING MATCH SO IT ENDS HERE. Hopefully everyone has said what they need to say, the rest can be said in a PM. Please don't feel the need to compare other boards with this one. Members are welcome to post negative comments on other boards (they would not be breaking any rules here - just loosing credibility as they don't realize how damaging negative posts can be to the business). Nobody should care if you are an active member on all the sites or a dedicated member on just one site. I say join them all ... if you find one you feel at home at and appreciate the way the site is run then involve yourself with the community and grow with the site - most people don't have the time to do that on multiple sites. Keep in mind that every time someone slanders a lady publicly on a board and the administration allows it (or even a agency) it makes the entire industry suffer and makes the board become hostile and one sided. The ladies do not want to be part of a hostile board - especially those who are working hard at maintaining a top notch reputation, some of them (especially ones new to the business) may be OK with the other ladies getting called out at first but when the table turns and the first person decides to attack that ladies character and no one stands up for her in the boards administration she will leave and not return - and unfortunately it may stop her from visiting any more discussion boards. We get comments here all the time for the ladies, many with horrible past experiences on other sites. They appreciate what we are doing here and that is our main goal. A safe place for good people. Fighting in the threads is really not necessary. It may be entertaining to some and I agree sometimes you just need to vent but hopefully this is over with as I don't really want to suspend or infraction anyone as that usually just escalates the problems so I am closing this thread and let's all move on please.

We do kick a lot of people off this board each year and of course they will go to other boards to complain and take pokes at us here (trying to stir the pot). Removing the negative comments for the paid advertisers and leaving the negative comments for the non-advertisers could be seen as extortion as it boils down to "Pay us or we will allow you to be slandered". I would much rather allow the ladies to all advertise for free but if one is bait and switching or doing anything malicious we just ask her to leave and delete her ads. We have lost a few advertisers on EC because they did not like the way we run cerb.ca. A few of the advertisers over the years demanded things of me here on cerb and threatened to pull the ads off EC if I did not do what they were demanding. For the record they no longer are members here and no longer have ads on EC (or any affiliates site of ours) ... and if they remove the ads on EC they are hurting themselves much more then us. It only costs them 50.00 a month for the ad but how much revenue do you think they do off this 50.00 ad? (a few calls a day at least right!) so most of the time it's just idle threats trying to get what they want but anyone who threatens someone else to get what they want is NOT a good person so I don't loose any sleep over it when we loose a paid advertiser. Some were removed for just being insane, some were breaking the rules with shill posts and recently some were fixing the award polls to win the valued member award (making lots of fake membership accounts and making fake poll votes to win the award). You may have noticed that megane lost her valued member award because of this. Turns out Mika luv suposidly made all the fake accounts. With these fake accounts she voted for megane to win. Because of this Mika luv was removed from the site - we also caught her shil posting under the member name "AL" for both Mika and Megane. Megane did not like loosing this award and demanded I restore it claiming it was Mika and not Megane making the fake members and shill posting and that she deserved this award (when it was obviously stolen from cowboy kenny with all these fake member names putting in the fake votes). Why would that make it ok? I tried to be very diplomatic but nothing would work. She lost it on me and was just being unreasonable, demanding and threatening! I know some of you liked Megane very much as many of the positive comments were obviously not shill posts so I am not sure why they felt they needed to shill post and cheat to win this award. It's rather sad that it came down to this. Needless to say megane is no longer a member here (and is no longer an advertiser on EC either as her threats to pull her advertising did not work so she followed through with them and did not renew the ads when they ran out last time) - I think she is trying to prove her point but like I said it is hurting her much more then it is hurting us. We do NOT bend the rules for anyone just because they pay us and I would much rather loose the paid advertiser then to compromise the integrity of this site.

Well that would explain the sudden jump in new memberships! Thanks for letting us know this was posted on the other site loneskater. Not everyone understands the concept here still (Even long term members struggle with it at times as they feel an urge to warn others when a date goes bad - especially when toftt). I feel like a broken record sometimes telling people this site is not for everyone. Posts like this however will bring new members to this site (Guys who want something different) Most guys would come visit the site and see for themselves what it is all about. Maybe his experience with one of the recommended ladies was not up to his expectations. I get PM's all the time tipping me off about certain stuff and I look into all the complaints and heads up warnings I get. So far we have not had any problems reported about the ladies being extorted for recommendations in any way and I would expect the ladies to PM me and let me know if this even happened as this is NOT acceptable in any way. It has happened in the past on other sites so it's just a matter of time until it happens with the recommendations section here but we will put an end to it fast if we find out. I would surely boot him from the site and warn the ladies. I think the guys who post most of the recommendations here have proven themselves to be stand up guys who are trustworthy. The ladies who frequent the site seam to appreciate the male members we have here as well. This is still a new concept for discussion boards and we are not trying to win a popularity contest here.

Shortly after posting this a few other registered member accounts logged into cerb using the same IP as Rickf_08 (Some listed as SP's and others as Men). When questioned about this he said they share a computer but this was the first time both accounts had used the same internet connection - we only ever see this when it's (1) a agency or (2) someone up to no good. So I have decided to suspend it at this time while we discuss this issue further with the offending members to see if we can get to the bottom of this.

Not sure if a poll on this subject is a good idea to be honest. It's a subject that plagues the industry and many people outside of the industry assume that everyone involved in the industry must have (or regularly contracts) std's or sti's. We know when injection drugs and unsafe sex are involved (Often the case with streetwalkers) the risk level is off he chart but the problem is a lot of people group streetwalkers and escorts all into the same category as they are all sex workers. This of course is very unfair to the escorts who stay clean of chemical drugs, practice safe sex and take care of themselves. I am worried that people will post poll votes based on "sex workers" in general and will add to the already horrible stereotype the ladies here are forced to deal with. When a streetwalker is working to pay for a drug habit she/he would most likely not stop working to take care of the infection (herpes/warts/theclap/etc...) and with the use of injection drugs stuff like hiv/hep/etc are MUCH higher risk as well and let's face it if a streetwalker can buy drugs or good condoms what do you think the money will go for? Sure some area's have heath units and people who give out condoms free but many bad things have happened because no condom was present and the streetwalker didn't care as the drugs were controller her/his actions. When you group all sex workers together you will get a VERY unclear version of the truth because of this. I personally do know two people (who are not SP's) who have herpes from bbbj's. They have drugs now to prevent outbreaks but they are told this is still not 100%. I am not talking about cold soars on the lips (These are also a form of herpes) but full outbreaks of blisters all inside the mouth - very painful and unpleasent to say the least. You as the man cannot get HIV from contact with saliva alone, so the man is pretty much safe. The lady however is at higher risk. The only way oral sex could present some risk to you as the man is if she had sufficient amounts of blood in her mouth (from recent dental work, bleeding gums, or other dental problems) and your penis came into direct contact with blood. Now other stuff can be passed by BBBj's such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, NGU, warts (hpv), syphilis, herpes, etc... so the risk is significantly higher but most are treatable and stuff like herpes as I mentioned has no cure but can be controled to some extent. If you in or out of the hobby and have multiple sex partners (or your partner has multiple sex partners) You should get screened at least once a year for STDs. Many STDs do not have symptoms and can go unnoticed. If you get something like Syphilis and treat it early enough you can cure it without any real problem using antibiotics (If you let it go for a long period of time you end up in trouble) On another note: I am not coming down on streetwalkers. They are often good people in bad situations. The general public needs to know the difference. Recently some of the pimps who control the streetwalkers have placed ads on sites like CL luring guys into in-calls and the in-call prostitute is a streetworker. (This is new as real street pimps really never bothered with the cyber world before this - sure the occassional one would with the help of a friend but it was never considered to be a real problem). Rickf_08 has no other accounts from what I can see from this end. His IP address checks out clean and so does his account. I am glad many of the regulars jumped in to your defense (This speaks highly of your business) but maybe in the future you can PM me first so I can look into this for you. I reviewed Rickf's private message statistics as well and we have no reason to beleive he is trying to run any kind of "smear campaign" against you. He has sent very few PM's. For future reference...
