I am searching for something we can use for this LAST MINUTE AVAILABILITY idea... I have not found anything yet to do this but we could have one custom coded.

If a lady is no longer available most of the time someone will comment to that effect on the thread (Probably the last post). If this happens over time we will parse the ones with no comments or archive them somehow.

Actually solicitation is only illegal when done in public. This law is intended to fight against street level prostitution.

Nope... we just had to iron out the kinks in the flash video rebroadcast server. It chocked tonight a bit too... looks like we still have a few bugs to work out but it's coming along good. We just need more people to use it.

Chances are it's bait and switch as most of the CL postings like this are fakes. Be careful as you should be using a more trusted source unless your willing to take a few chances. I suspect however that you are somehow affiliated with this person as you have posted this in three spots already (SPAM LIKE TO DRAW ATTENTION TO THIS CL LISTING). This would give the guys here even more reason to avoid this posting on CL so your doing more harm then good...

TheMOD is getting annoyed. You can send info in a PM but if anyone posts negative comments about anyone I will be forced to delete the posts and give you an infraction for doing it. IF you can confirm her photos are real that would be be acceptable to post here. IF You can confirm she is using fake photos then that would be something for the BAIT AND SWITCH section but we believe her photos are REAL ACTUAL PHOTOS - unfortunately her services have never been recommended on this site. I just wanted everyone to know that we fixed the chat problem where it would hang on the connecting screen. That was annoying and it didn't happen all the time so it was really hard to track down. TECH: If anyone is interested... Turns out a port setting was conflicting with another program on the server running on the same port. What ever program initiated the port first would get priority so anyone trying to access the chat while the other program was using that same port would just hang the software on the connecting screen (Very difficult to find problems like that). Anyway.. it's fixed and running nice and quick now too. ENJOY! And please when you log in stick around a while people come in and out all day long but no one sticks around... if you stick around (leave it open in another window if you can) and a conversation will start... even the ladies pop in and out all hours of the day but 1/2 the time none of you are in the room so they just leave. I think we need some chat room promotional ideas. Have any?

I would disagree with that just because if you look at the serial killers that have plagued this industry most of the psycho's tried not to get caught. If it's premeditated then sending a photo of yourself would sure give the police a good start at finding the killer. In extreme rare cases this would probably take you off a serial killers list. Same with a stalker, if they thought you would post a photo of them and warn others or even send a photo to the police chances are they would not stalk you (Of course some extreme cases would prove me wrong). But... I agree this business needs a certain level of discretion and a lady doing this would loose a lot of good potential clientele as many men would not be comfortable doing this (For vanity reasons or even for fear of someone outside the business finding out).... however if it makes them feel more safe and they don't mind waiting for the right guys who are willing to meet this demand then all the power to them - it's a personal choice to request a photo and a personal choice to send one.

After removing all the fake accounts it turns out that you would have won the last vote too (as suspected). Growing pains I guess but I know what to watch for next vote... Even with the fake voters I think we have a better election system then the states LOL

Why they may do this.... I don't think it's because they don't want to see fat hairy bald men... 1) Protection. They would make sure the guy who answers the door is the same person in the photo then let him in. This way if the guy had bad intentions or got out of hand the photo would protect her in many ways. 2) Racial or ethnic profiling. I hate to admit it but I have had to remove a few threads from SP's who are racist (I personally have no tolerance for that so if I find any post like that I remove it immediately) but some SP's refuse to see certain people based on race or color (Mostly Asian, east indian and Black men in general but I have also removed a post from a white SP who only likes to see black men and found that equally racist and removed it as well). 3) Married Men. Some sp's do not like to see Married men. They may feel that by sending a photo really shows that you are not affraid of being caught by the wife. Not I am really guessing at this one but I have been told by a few sp's that they do not see Married or Attached men so if you put 2 and 2 together this could be a possibility as most Married men would be very hesitant at sending a photo to a SP. 4) Legal. If you send a photo and the person shows up and busts you for something you can pass the photo around to others and let them know who to look for? Again can not confirm this but it's a definate possibility here. I am not saying that any of these are actual real reasons for the photo request! I am just giving you some idea's as to some of the other reasons some sp's may ask for this. Chances are since this is the Ottawa section the ladies acquiring pics of public figures would probably be unlikely so they may be limiting themselves a little much but if it helps make them feel safe and protected and they are not doing anything malicious with the photos I would say it's probably for trust and protection... unfortunately if the wrong people start to do this it could be used for blackmail or some other malicious reason so it could easily backfire!

Legalization would not stop street prostitution (It may actually make it worse). For those who don't see the difference ... street prostitution is usually driven by substance abuse (often pimps are involved and more often pimps are the ones supplying the drugs). It's full of underage girls, drugs, heath issues and just bad circumstances. Escorting and street walking are both part of the "sex trade" so they are similar in that sense of the word but the similarities end at that. I am not saying that all escorts are drug free but a person who is being controlled by the drug abuse is not going to use money to pay for ads online or take time to chat in a discussion forum like this. Yes, They are all part of the "sex trade" but they are NOT the same thing. Street level prostitution should be illegal if you ask me. Legalization is not the answer and it could add to the problem if not done properly. It's easy to say legalize it but it's not easy to legalize it (by any stretch of the imagination) .... each change they make would make someone happy but in turn upset someone else. If they mess with the laws they could do a lot more BAD then GOOD. (and from past experience chances are it would be BAD for all of you guys and the ladies in the business!). The law has the ability to arrest for street soliciation, pimping, drugs, etc... untill they go out and clean up the streets with the current laws (and leave the ladies alone who are in the sex trade but not working the streets and not drug addicted)... the problem is not enough is being done to get rid of the street level prostitution (Looks like ottawa is changing that finally... bet it's all the bad publicity they got from the media over the last year). Big problem... the general public thinks a "escort" and a "street hooker" are the same thing. We need to help educate them and make them realzise that just because they so a simular job it's not the same thing (by a long shot).

Well.. the chat room seams to be a good place for this type of last minute thing (and many men are visiting the room just for that) I did write a script years ago for a agency who wanted to show IN REAL TIME who was available at any given moment. We made a admin page where the agency owner could click on and off the ladies who are available or not. It worked really well for them but other agencies did not want to bother with something like this for various reasons. Now... most of the ladies prefer advanced bookings but let's face it... if other guys are anything like me.... they (1) usually not that organized (2) have no idea if they will be in "the mood" at that time ... and since we do have a problem with last minute cancellations.... this may be one of the reasons for that. When making advanced bookings is the only way to make a booking with some SP's I figure a lot of guys make the bookings in advance and then either cave and spend the money somewhere else, not in the mood once the appointment rolls around or just get involved in something and don't have time to go to the appointment (and they should have the decency to call and cancle but when a guy calls and cancels last minute he probably expects to get the thrid degree over the phone from the SP so maybe that contibutes to the problem as well). Most of us men are probably like me and think... "hey I am really in the mood right now" I know personally I can not say "You know I may be in the mood at 4pm next Tuesday" so I think a last minute booking area would be handy for ladies who are ok accepting last minute appointments and for all the guys who can not predict when they will be in the mood or have enough free time to visit a lady. It would be great to have a instant messaging plug in for this board where people could post such things but you all have to tell us if you are interested in something like this or not... and also you need to tell the ladies if you prefer advanced bookings or prefer a last minute bookings. Maybe a poll? I can't be the only guy who can not predict free time, needs and moods. I know... stereotypically guys are always in the mood... but that is not true (at least not for everyone)

The cheater script will help us catch everyone involved in stuff like this (Including SHILL posting) it also busts the IP for proxy servers and resolves the true IP address on posts for anyone who I suspect is using a proxy to post shills. We have some foul play at hand. I am reviewing the log files and I installed a little cheater script this time to catch anyone making multiple posts on the same computer using different alias's. I Don't want to point the finger until I have all the proof collected (and all the fake account names collected) but I will let everyone know a little later what happened. (Sorry I am having a busy day and have no time to do it but I will do my best to review the logs later - at first glance we have a cheater for sure) - I will get to the bottom of it and let everyone know who did that.

If one of the ladies posted a photo of a potentially dangerous person or a bad date client we would not remove it but this is not being done. I know a year or more ago spoc.ca (at least I think it was spoc) put up some photos of a few guys) most likely only the really BAD clients (and trust me they do exist) would be reason for anyone to do this. The guys will not have access to the SP ONLY area (for any reason) it's not nessassary and if you think you have done something to get a listing in the SP ONLY area then you should not be in the business. If you treat the ladies with respect, don't make appointments and not show up and your not being scary/phsycotic during your appointment then you would not be in the list.
