I have not tried to embed a flash call here but I am 99% sure it will not work so animated GIF is the only feasible option as server called image serving (Used mostly for geo-mapped banner integration such as sexsearch uses where it detects what city the viewer is from and creates a banner that includes that city name) is very expensive to set up (and you need a dedicated server for this as well so the monthly costs would be high - too high to make it worth the effort at this time).

No source is ever going to be perfect but one the good online directories will remove ladies and companies who are bait and switching you all... and if the directory charges for paid ads then it keeps most of the scams away. With c-list nothing is stopping them from exploiting it. You will get MUCH More bait and switch with it so why support it at all.

This site does not allow java code to be inserted so a banner rotation is not something that could easily be done. You would need your own website and you would need some fancy configuration to serve images randomly when a specific image file was called (It's not easy to do by any means)... Your better off making an animated GIF image and having it rotate images for you at a slow pace - if they are all linked to the same site then this is the easy way to go.. just tell her to ask her webdesigner (or banner maker) to make her a 3 or 4 banners and put them into a rotating GIF image at about 2 second intervals... then simply call the GIF image by it's URL. Many come and go frequently from Ottawa to Montreal so you need to email or call some for dates as they often tend to not stay on top of this.

I actually two guys that have used both AFF and SS with fairly good results. They both agree that a lot of the ads seam to not be active (possibly planted or abandoned) but that would be expected. In-calls are usually busted because of public disturbances and public complaints (from neighbors). Occasionally in some towns/cities the LE is pressured into doing sweeps of in-call location busts where they pass out a lot of charges but this varies from city to city. I think PK has every right to come and respond to threads that involve them. I know I would defend my companies reputation if I felt someone was threatening it. I may take a slightly different approach myself but still I feel they have the right to come on here and publicly respond when someone is making a statement. As for the other part. My suggestions would be that since they are so busy it would be a good idea to hire someone as a webmaster and handle the website and ad placements to make sure everything is up-to-date online. They are quickly finding out how important it is to everyone to have photos right away and ad details online as soon as possible. You all keep pressuring them to stay on top of this and it is getting much better. This is the agencies responsibility. They market the ladies. They interview the ladies to see if they want to represent them and to agree on price and such. Then the agencies market the ladies to you (the customer). Of course they are going to over sell them! That law was made to protect the ladies from pimping. Sure they could make an example out of someone at any time if they wanted to by charging the agency under this act but I highly doubt any judge would sentence someone if they were not actually pimping the ladies. The law was written very open to appease the public and to protect the ladies and was intentionally written in this open way so that it could be used if needed to convict someone (when someone truly deserves to be convicted). Properly run agencies and even the girls "Drivers" are technically living off the avails... then again anyone who accepts money for a service from a prostitute would be living off the avails if this law was taken literally. Hmm, lets see... cerb sells advertising in the form of banners... who else performs services to the ladies and takes money for this... the newspapers, the online directories, yellow pages, the phone company, the hotel owners, etc... the list is very extensive. If the agency sets up the business to work for the ladies as a receptionist or marketing company and is not pimping the women (Anything like: Telling them when they have to work, physically abusing or mentally abusing them, selling or forcing the use of drugs, generally controlling them) then really why would the law want to get involved? Exactly! They wouldn't as the ladies are being treated fair. If the ladies who work with the agency are being abused the law is here to protect the ladies. The thing is the agency is providing a service (answering phones, placing ads, marketing, booking, security calls, end of session calls, arranging drivers, etc. etc. (All the things the escorts often hate to do) and the price or commission the agency received for this service is agreed on way before the escort ever takes a call and she can simply say sorry I am going to go work for someone else that takes a smaller commission. In a properly run agency the girls are not forced to pay the agencies, if they wish to continue using the services of the agencies then they continue to pay the commissions per call (the agency does not collect the money from you and then pay the girl with it - you guys pay the ladies directly!). This would be a legal business transaction (same with placing an ad and paying the ad company or paying a phone answering service for taking you calls and forwarding them to you). Now I am sure many agencies exist who push the legal lines here.. greed will do that to many people. The good news is I think we have more good agencies these days then bad ones (unlike we did before the time of the internet). What we do have a problem with in Canada is the illegal forced sex rings that are being found all over the country where the girls are promised good money, accommodations, etc... then come to the country and are treated as sexual slaves. A number of these rings (mostly Asian from what I have read) are being busted and the conditions the women are subject to is painful to read about. This is the reason for this law and any person who would do this to another human being should be punished by the full extent of this law! Please correct me if anyone knows otherwise (This is just from what I have been told, read about and researched on my own) but from my understanding any charge in Canada under section 212 for living off the avails has only ever been made a conviction with one of the prostitutes or witness taking a stand and giving a testimony of either witnessing or being subject to drugs, forced to perform sexual acts, slavery or control and/or physical abuse. I am not aware of any agency owner or operator who has been convicted without the courts proving that some act of harm took place. If anyone can prove this statement to be false I would encourage you to post some links and references here as I have tried to dig up details of such a case if one exists with no luck. My disclaimer: I always say I am not qualified to give legal advise by any means so this is just my opinions and should not be considered accurate or correct in any way.

Prostitution is legal in Canada. Such things as in-calls, pimping, underage sex workers and street (or public) solicitation are illegal. The Agency performing reception work as an employer to the escort is a gray area (same with a driver the escort hires) both parties are technically "living off the avails" but the law does not seam to prosecute agencies unless drugs or pimping were involved. They could but to the best of my knowledge no one has ever been prosecuted for living off the avails unless they deserved to be. The problem is control ... for the agency to not do anything illegal they must not have any control (they can not tell the girls when they must be available, what they can or can not do, charge, etc...) NO CONTROL WHAT SO EVER. The agency can choose to stop representing a lady if that lady is damaging the reputation of the agency (essentially they get fired but legally the agency just chooses to stop working for the girl). Is this starting to clear things up? I know many of you just ASSUME you know how it works but hollywood and media always TWIST things around. Some people are under the assumption that running an agency that can please everyone is easy... it is not only very difficult - it's totally impossible! The best you can hope for is an agency who cares enough to stop representing the ladies who get all the bad complaints and who tries to work out problems with the customers and the girls. Remember the agencies don't "GROW" or "MANUFACTURE" the ladies - they are human beings and are not only responsible for themselves they are also in complete control over your date (not the agency) to assume anything more then this is preposterous! Think of all the other corporate services that employ a receptionist (everything from real estate to doctors to travel agents) now could you imagine holding the receptionist responsible for what the real estate person did to you? or holding the travel agent responsible for what the airline or the resort did to you? If you would hold the agent responsible then you need return to the real world as that is not the way it works.

Well with posts slamming "all" the ladies in Windsor your not doing a good job in welcoming them to participate here on the board are you!? If the number of providers in the area is LOW then the price goes HIGHER (based on what they can get away with charging). That is just common sense?! We encourage the ladies to place ads on EscortsCanada but it is not mandatory. We do however remove posts that are slanderous, hateful, flaming or obviously intended to provoke a fight. Due to the holidays and my lack of time to moderate over the last 2 days this thread has been overlooked until now... Unless someone objects I think we can keep this as no flame war has gotten out of control. I feel Jessica posted a very professional and well written reply here (for the most part) and it clearly explains her position on this matter. She is correct about the law and if the agency becomes controlling then they are no longer a booking agency (they become pimps) so she is doing the right thing. If you guys have complaints about the ladies you should let the agency know right away (and in detail) ... Maybe not publicly but by a phone call or email would be sufficient. Remember the agencies do not go on the calls they just book the calls on the ladies behalf and rely on your feedback to let them know if the lady is doing wrong. If a lady is making the agency look bad then your feedback will help the agency weed out the ones the agency does not want to represent any longer. Don't expect them to fire the girl with one complaint as YMMV and she could just be having a bad day (everyone has them - unfortunately in this business you as the customer pays for this and if the ladies have too many bad days and still work then the agency takes the rap for it). A good agency will listen to the ladies version of what went on as well as your side of the story and most likely will side with the lady until a number of complaints are received. It's hard for an agency to acquire a good group of ladies and even harder to maintain that level of quality! If you think anything other that this then you are very very mistaken!! The agency does NOT control the ladies, the answer the phones, book appointments, market the ladies and do general reception work for them! Anything more is considered PIMPING and is ILLEGAL (NOT TO MENTION VERY WRONG!). I am sure some of the other discussion boards will let you bash agencies like it's the agencies fault the girl did something wrong but I know how the business works and it about time some of you were educated this stuff. Some of you try to bash the agency like they have done you some injustice... hopefully this information proves helpful for those people.
