No, they were able to hack into the mail system thru the old forum and send bulk spam email using our server. They also installed a rootkit that caused the server to shut down. The new system is much more secure. The old system the passwords were encrypted so nothing to worry about as a user.

Thanks, it's good to be back online here. We had a big mess on our hands once the hackers got in.
