I have added a POLL but don't be too quick to vote. The poll is 14 days and at the end of the two weeks based on the results of this poll I will give me recommendation to EC to turn her ad back on or not. This is really the only fair way to work this.

Usually I would put this type of post in the announcements area but I will leave it here for discussion. (Please guys be nice) she knows what she did was wrong and this sounds sincere that she is serious about improving her reputation - (hopefully she does and we can give her a chance to prove it) Putting up photos showing lingerie that you like to wear and not referencing them as such (and letting people know they are not actual photos of you) is no excuse (we all know it) the photos were put up and people were mistaking them for actual photos (she knows that too) ... and CK's diary also caught it. When EC pulled her ad she did have all REAL photos of her on it (Verified) but she was still using fake ones on BP. We brought this to her attention and she choose to continue to use them on B.P (without any explanation in the ads that they were not actual photos of her). I guess removing her from EC made her more aware of what she had to loose by doing this so lets see if she does what she says she is going to do and rebuild a reputation for herself. I know EC will not allow her to advertise again until we know for sure that she is NOT using any fake photos any longer. If I see a recommendation for her from one of our higher level members I would most certainly suggest that EC let her back on.

I think I solved the latest tap-a-talk issue. The push notifications for PM's were locking up causing some people to get MANY copies of the same PM and some people to not be able to send PM's to users (they would get a MySQL error cause it would timeout because of the lock) I THINK (and I stress "THINK") I fixed this so I have turned tap-a-talk back on. If anyone gets multiple PM's or gets an error when sending a PM please let me know.

I had to suspend the tapatalk system today (it was causing some issues in the PM system) I will work on getting this back up for everyone.

Someone complained to me and said she was underage so I locked her account and asked her to send ID and a photo to prove she is age. She did so I reactivated her account (But you should also check ID if you think anyone is under 18 years of age) - I can never be 100% on any ID sent to me (Could be fake, could be a friend or sister who looks similar - SO NEVER TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!). If they send me passable ID to prove they are 18+ I am covering my ass here and doing my due diligence.

Wow, Murphy and his law need to screw off!! I have had a HORRIBLE day (with other server techies) trying to get this darn webserver back online after a automated security update last night. The server updated some software (suppose to do that) but while doing it maybe the server rebooted or something cause it failed and and basically shut everything off. It's back and with any luck it stays online. If you find any problems PLEASE let me know as I suspect other stuff will need fixing after this one. (Think we are getting the entire years worth of server crashes all this month so with any luck the rest of the year is golden!)

Since you are a verified account (SP ONLY ACCESS) you have 100 photo spots. Standard accounts have just 25. Once you have filled ALL your photo spots the option to ADD more photos or albums goes away. Try deleting a old photo and see if that allows you to add more. ... looks like you have a whopping 10 albums but only 85 photos from my count. I am not aware of a LIMIT of how many albums (but it could have a limit and you may have reached it with 10) Other issue is if ALL your photos add up over 20 Megabytes in file size your cut off as well and need to either RESIZE your photos (Make them smaller and re-upload them to save size) or delete some to make room for new ones.

I adjusted the tanks option so that EVERYONE can use it and it gives 25 rep points now as well. (It's nice to be thanked for info posted!)

It could but at this time the only way to add a city to the system is to have at least one profile ad in that city. If you would like I can have Dave (the site manager) give you a free 6 month profile ad (since he currently does not have any kingston listings he will agree to this) all you need to do is make a profile ad and PM me and I will ask him to do this for you.

We are testing our a new text ad system on localescorts.ca (this is just a test phase and we are only promoting this here on cerb at this time until we work out the bugs and the development team finishes all the backed system) At this time the ads are FREE and are AUTOMATICALLY posted for everyone with a profile ad (4 times a day) and anyone without a profile ad can make them too for free but must manually make the ad each time (at this time). We do not want that attention here, we will suspend the questionable account and remove any ads when someone has concearn of underage. And give her a chance to prove her age to us. ... Remember the government stepped in with c.l. For ads on the site for underage girls. We dont want that bad publicity and you all know i take a pro-active approach to this here to help stop this. Apparently (from what a lady told me) In Winnipeg she was booked by a undercover officer and the date was at a local hotel. The undercover officer apparently asked if they could meet first in the hotels lounge. She slipped up and made a comment about heading back to the room to get the date started (probably making some comment about price or specific sex acts) and she was charged for public solicitation for discussing this in a public place. Since we do not have any entrapment laws in canada they can get away with this (i think, technically the deal had been done in private previous to the meeting so i doubt it would hold up in court) .... But this i believe is not a common occurrence (never heard of it happening anywhere else n canada) so it may have been either because Winnipeg (city council) was going to extremes to go after any form of prostitution and since they were using actual uniform police at by-law infraction calls the police probably got pressured into this. Whatever reason its stretching it as that law was to stop street solicitation and it is being abused to use this way in winnipeg.

No logged errors with mod_security... so that is not the problem. If EVERYONE using IE having this issue? It could be malware/spyware/trojan/worm/bug/etc... in the browser... or just cause IE has these silly unexplained issues at times. Again... switch to firefox (I gave up on IE years ago... hell I gave up on PC's years ago and now use a MAC)

That may be a MOD_SECURITY issue with the server, the website software and your browser not getting along. I will check the logs for this and see if I can find anything. If it happens again PM me the EXACT time it happened (EST) - Makes it easier to find the error in the server logs for that particular instance.

You will want to explore the ADVANCED SEARCH page. You will not be able to search for "PAM" as three letters is too short for a search but you can tell the system to ONLY look in Winnipeg (Actual Boolean search is suppose to work as well now) FROM THE SYSTEM ADMIN SETTINGS: Boolean Fulltext Search This permission allows members of this group to search your forums using the Boolean option. This permission only applies to search performed when your forum's search type is set to Fulltext. This permission allows Boolean searches, which includes the usage of AND, OR, and NOT to limit results. This option can be server intensive for very large forums so its usage is cautioned. When this permission is disabled, the Fulltext search will use a less intensive relevance based search. Your a general member now so this should work for you according to the documentation for the website. Let me know if it does not and I will look into it further.

The core software was updated that runs this. I know most people hate change but I am sure the developers changed these things for a reason. I am still going thru pages of configuration files and templates making fixes and adjustments but the new features I am sure outweigh the learning curve to get accustomed to the changes. ... I actually really like the new layout of the pages and the flow.

... to say "dont generally ever just go and make and example of them" well I am sure it happens but something has to usually lead up to that. In some cities (Winnipeg, Calgary, Windsor, Etc...) they have by-laws and they find ads in papers and online, make appointments and show up (sometimes with uniform police officers to make the ladies really panic - it's a bulling technique they seam to use in these cities to scare away the ladies). In most cities this never happens but something always leads up to it. A complaint usually from a neighbor or a ex-boyfriend, etc... See with the laws we have in Canada (Federal criminal code laws) the police must investigate a common bawdy house (a place used regularly for the purpose of prostitution) in order to have a case against a SP's they need to prove that without a reasonable doubt that the place is a brothel of some kind (bawdy house) and right now in Ontario the law on bawdy houses is being questioned as a judge in Toronto has asked for the law to be revised as it takes the ladies rights away making a unsafe environment. A strip-club or a massage spa that is offering "Sexual extra's" that is open without appointment to the public is an easy investigation (and therefore much higher risk) With the criminal code law up in the air right now for living off the avails and common bawdy house and all that stuff.... I highly doubt any police are doing any investigations on private appointment only low traffic incalls unless they are human trafficking or complaints of anything else illegal at the same premises. (I could be wrong but common sense says this would be the case right now as no one knows how the laws will be change) As for the laws changing... they could make it fully illegal like the USA or they could remove the restrictions on bawdy houses and let each municipality by-law zoning and such like they do with MP's and Stripclubs. (I don't know what would be worse to be honest as I see municipalities taking full advantage of by-law zoning, licencing, hours of opperations, etc... if the laws are changed to decriminalize the living off the avails law. Once it is LEGAL for municipalities to LICENSE and ZONE prostitution I am sure most cities will take FULL advantage of that - This would scare off a lot of ladies from going legit cause they would probably need police checks, public records of working as a prostitute, regular sti/std checks, large licensing fee's, forced hours of operation, etc... - Like the brothels in nevada.... and that drives up costs so the hourly rates will also go sky high in many areas - just like vegas and nevada). ... but I am just speculating... we will see and this is really a hijack of this thread and should be a completely different thread.
