Cerb seams to be back to normal - Speed wise (Some new features have been added as I did a update to the software that runs cerb and it has some socialgroup features we did not have before) If anyone is getting any errors, seeing things missing or anything bad happening please PM me and let me know (Details please with links if possible) I am fixing the stuff as it is reported or found... lots of things were broken in the last 5 days that I have had to fix but it does look like we are back to at least 95% power / speed for page load times. (always room for improvement) Thank you all for baring with me I know the site has been very unstable for the last few days (So have I been! - Little sleep deprived)

ahh, i see. Too bad it's in ms access, doesn't look like a simple answer is available. One option would be to use freelancer.com and put up a request for quote to make a standalone version of your DB (get some quotes on having it done) then use those quotes as a reference for a local programmer. Overseas quotes will be at least 1/3 of the price usually then local but the headache and often language barrier is usually worth the extra 2/3's cost.

I would export the db to a csv file (comma separated values) then write a script to use that data in any language (vb, c, etc) i know perl so personally i would write it in perl and convert the perl script to a executable file and distribute it with the flatfile csv (you can also then import the csv into excell or other spreatsheets.

Sorry, I have DISABLED SOME FEATURES AS I FIGURE OUT WHAT IS CAUSING THE SITE TO RUN SO SLOW... It may be a plugin (added code) so I have shut them all down (except for some essential ones) and I am going to let the site run for a few hours without any... then slowly turn them back on till I see a problem.

Some confusion over photos showing genitals (where and where they are not permitted to be displayed) Private social groups (ONLY PRIVATE ONES) can show photos of genitals as the search engines can not access these areas. If you wish to post photos of these types of images you need to call them from a remote server (your own website or something like a photobucket type service - cerb will not store these images) Please DO NOT upload photos showing GENITALS to the photos albums on cerb. Even if the albums are PRIVATE (Visible only to your "Friends list") it is NOT permitted to have genital photos in the albums. Please DO NOT post links or link to photos showing genitals on ANY page of cerb. It is best NOT to link to any site that would be considered a "pornographic" site (Site showing hardcore porn) as this causes the search engines to think we also allow hardcore porn images on cerb (Remember the search engines do not have eyes - if the search engine knows that website you are linking to has a porn ratting and it see's multiple links from cerb to that site then cerb could inherit this same ratting causing the search engine to hide the links to cerb unless the searches contained adult keywords). As time goes on this will become more and more strict with the search engines as they try to make the searches more accurate. No one wants to be searching on google for a school project and have porn sites come up in the search results...

Wow... Ie sucks eh! Lol... If anyone has any ideas to address this let me know. I cant find a solution for this one. Maybe my fellow techie geeks here have a suggestion other then tell everyone to switch to firefox.

It may, they say it is happening less so it could very well be a cache issue if they tried to access cerb the other day when the server was having issues.... and as time goes on IE clears the cache (about 2-4 days I think - I am not a IE user) Firefox, chome, etc... are all superior IMHO to IE and far less issues with Firefox. I love the firefox browser (no issues with it on MAC or PC) but don't use it on Android devices (it has a lot of bugs still).

I have a report that one of our members gets this error since the server went down last week (on a regular basis) using internet explorer. The error message is... anyone else getting this same error? I am asking as I am trying to pin point the error (If it is just on the one members computer or is it some problem on the site that I can not reproduce)? If your using IE and having no problems could you let us know that as well?

Merry christmas (and happy holidays to our "non christmas" celebrating members) and happy new years. We survived 20121221 as i suspected we would but then again the server did die on us! Lets hope that was the last of the 2012 problems! Hope you all have a safe and fun holiday. Very best wishes to all.... I think this was the best year with cerb for me and i owe that to the council members, the other moderator and all the great members.

I was able to get the optimization system back up tonight so pages should load quicker (back to normal - actually maybe even a little faster if were lucky) . If anyone gets database errors or can't log into chat (or anything out the ordinary) please let me know. Every bit of feedback helps when solving these issues.

Think (HOPE) I solved the problems.. please PM me (if you can) if any issues are found. At this time I think we are back up and running as we should be... but I often speak too soon! Right now I am not experiencing anything wrong.

Follow up here. the chatroom is not saying YOUR BANNED (Don't worry your not) just re-enter your username and password that seams to work for now... sometimes a database error page comes up. use your back button or refresh to get around this (and we are working on it)

Server was down for a large portion of the evening tonight. Big crash and I am still working on it (3:50am here) - I think I have it back to normal but if anyone has any issues please PM me or you can always open a support ticket at escorts-canada.com as well so any of the support staff can see it.

Your getting lots of good advise. I don't think he is a police officer but you should know that in Canada we do not have any entrapment laws.... but like everyone said prostitution (if you follow the law) is legal in canada.

The loophole right now is that the criminal code that this falls under is being questioned in Ontario so the police forces are really turning a blind eye to it all from the looks of it until the higher powers get something done. If prostitution takes place in any PLACE (even a hotel room) it could technically be considered a bawdy house. (if you only saw ONE client at the hotel room then left it is no longer "common" so that makes it legal. (Multiple people working from the SAME hotel room however... instant brothel technically). Swingers clubs is a loophole that some massage like places capitalize on... It is legal to charge a membership fee but if sexual acts are taking place the people participating in the sexual acts can not be doing it for financial gain (prostitution) swingers clubs are only legal if the members are not negotiating paid services. For instance if you had MEMBERS ONLY swingers party and everyone paid a "membership fee" and consenting adults had sexual conduct during this party without exchanging money... that is legal (it's the prostitution part of hosting events that is illegal). You just need to be careful with that too as say you hire a "hostess" or "host" and that hostess is paid by you (the even organizer) and the hostess or host get involved in any sexual activity then that could be seen as prostitution making the entire party illegal. I do not believe the event organizer can participate or pay anyone involved in any sexual act.... but I am no lawyer so this is something you would want to discuss with a lawyer first if you are concerned with legalities of such an event.
