Since we split the Ottawa area announcements into a :Escorts and a :massage area I received a note from one of the members who uses tapatalk saying that he can not see these two new areas but can see the archived area. My question is.. 1) Anyone else having this issue 2) If so can you see the other announcements area in the other cities? I ask the second question as I also installed a feature that posts a image to the left of the thread. This may be interfering with tapatalk.

In the announcements areas we are trying a new feature This feature will put a photo thumbnail in the thread view page if you include a IMG in your post. It uses the FIRST image you include in your ad and makes a thumbnail using it. For instance if I did this you can now see a small 50x50 thumbnail would show in the forum display page http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=280 (Click Link to see) Note: This will not work in the mobile version unless you are using the lower bandwidth ipad system. This however may greatly increase bandwidth for people using the ipad system so I may need to remove this. We can see how it goes first.

Ottawa now has a ESCORT and a MASSAGE announcements section. Ladies please choose ONE or the OTHER to post ads in. If you offer FS then please use the "ESCORT / COURTESAN" forum and if you only provide massage or NON FS services please use the "MASSAGE / NON FS" section. I have moved all the previous posts to a ARCHIVED folder and closed that folder. The council has voted on a few peoples memberships who we feel are responsible for most of the problems over the last year. Some members have made the site hostile and unwelcoming and we believe we have identified these individuals and we are asking some to leave and giving others a vacation. This letter will be sent to those individuals and posted here for all to review. Dear Member. We wish to be absolutely clear about what the board will no longer tolerate. Unacceptable behaviour includes, but is not limited to: The use of hostile and inflammatory language; Trying to goad other members, and "push other member's buttons"; Being quick to take offence and quick to point out that you are so offended and to scold people for it; Twisting the words of others in the least charitable way so as to imply that they have ill intent or dishonest motives; Twisting the words of others so as to misrepresent them, in order to artificially set them up as targets for scoring your own political points; Attempting to shout down the opinions of others, and attempting to bully them into silence by ganging-up with other members in concerted tactics of intimidation ("piling-on"); Making personal remarks about others that belittles them - including such things as accusing them of being "passive-aggressive", "acting like a four-year old", "after what you've said no lady will see you now", "you don't belong on Cerb", etc. Rejecting someone's apology after they've made a mistake, because it is deemed to be somehow insincere Council is not saying that you yourself have engaged in all these behaviours, but you have engaged in a number of them. We believe you can continue to make valuable contributions to the Cerb community at that time, while also adhering to the requirements of the board as explained above. Your membership here has been terminated and by vote from the council it has been decided that you are no longer welcome as a member in our community.

Remember discussing a SPA (Commercial Business) that is offering any "Sexual" extras such as BJ or FS is illegal and therefore can NOT be discussed on cerb. I have not read this thread yet entirely but I am sure people will FLAG any post that breaks this rule.

Basically you need the lady to testify and if she LOVES the guy or is SCARED of the guy she will often refuse to testify. That is why it is very hard to convict pimps. I suspect that is the case here.

When asked from retiring SP's we remove recommendation threads (Delete them) and this does change members post counts who contributed to these threads. Sorry the system does not let me adjust this.

We have been discussing this in council (back in November) and we have some issues with it. (1) It's very difficult (and time consuming) to move all the old posts from one area to the other (2) Some advertisers do both MP and FS so we are trying to decide if they would be permitted to advertise in both sections or just one (3) If both would we have a limit of time (like once per area in a 12 hour period) (4) some people would obviously see this as a way to get more advertising and post in both even though they primarily do just FS or MS Anyway... we are (have been) discussing this.

I guess I goofed up cause on the ladies poll 10 votes is 5% so yes, I will fix that anyone with over 5 posts will get one. Thanks for pointing that out and sorry for missing that Julia (and others who I missed)

Simple solution... If you see someone being nasty, negative, killing the community vibe, etc.... Report them! Show the negative people that cerb is not the place for them. We (the mods) do not read every thread (far from it) so it is up to all of you to make cerb a place you all enjoy.

A few nominations ago we switched to 5+ votes to get the icon. I just forgot to include that in the initial post.

This is exactly why I posted this in the ELITE/SP ONLY area. A small handful of people are creating a hostile environment for some. Pushing good members like Pete to do things like this! It's bad for the board, bad for the ladies as it makes potential and really good long term clients not feel welcome. I think jealousy is playing a role in this with some and maybe even boredom for some? Not sure but what we need to do is suggest to the council that anyone causing a hostile environment here gets ONE warning then the BOOT! I know myself and the other mod have talked about this for a while now and we both agree... it's a handful of people killing the vibe for many and it has to stop. Those people responsible need to find a new thing to focus on! Pete, I hope you come back and post. Your a valued member here and one many of the guys look up to. I know I appreciate all your contributions to cerb and this post hopefully opens up some peoples eyes. The ladies who are doing this are just making themselves and other ladies loose business. You kill the friendly vibe of the site and kill off the top members and the quality posters you kill the traffic to the site and hurt business for yourself and the others. It's just dumb!

One of our council members (as he announced publicly) has retired from the council. We do have some names still of previous volunteers and we would like to once again ask if anyone is interested in being on council (We need a MALE member this time as we keep a even number of MALE and FEMALES on the council) If you have 50+ posts, check in at least once every 3/4 days to cerb, your posts are quality posts that are helpful to the community (Contribute), low or no infractions and your helpful to others on the site then you are a perfect candidate for council. It is however a thankless job as the council members identity are kept secret from the public (unless you choose to announce it but that is never a wise move as the council has to make some pretty tough choices at times) We (The mods and council) will review all volunteers and the mods will pick who we think will do the best job. I will ask the current council for help on deciding but the final choice will be made by the moderators and we will use the councils advise and suggestions as guidance. We try to keep a wide variety of people on council so that decisions are fair and make the site move forward in a positive way. All volunteers names will be shared with council for a open (Private council members only) discussion. Please PM me if you wish to be on council - Please a quick short PM not a long lengthy one as I may get a lot of volunteers and my inbox may get flooded. Thanks
