PROSTITUTION IN CANADA IS VERY MUCH LEGAL! PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT AND DO NOT SPREAD BAD INFO! Some of you seam to be getting a little heated over this thread and I just want to remind you all that cerb is to remain a friendly, helpful and inviting place. Anyone disrupting that, starting fights, provoking, flaming, etc... may be suspended or removed. Now... this topic has been gone over again and again and some people just don't get it! Prostitution is very much LEGAL in CANADA the laws however just make it very hard to do legally. -You CAN NOT discuss anything in a PUBLIC PLACE (Internet is not a public place, your hotel room and your house is not a public place and neither is an ad in a magazine or website considered a public PLACE) discussing it on the street or in a hotel lobby or hallway is illegal. If you discuss it in PRIVATE like your hotel room or house it is very much LEGAL. -If you are caught in a place that is COMMONLY used for prostitution (Brothel) then you can be changed. -If you make money as a THIRD part (Pimp/Agent/Driver/etc..) you are LIVING OFF THE AVAILS and that is illegal Anyone on cerb posting UNTRUE facts about this is doing HARM to our community and must be STOPPED. If you pass BAD INFO you cause more problems for EVERYONE. Telling people that prostitution is illegal in CANADA is BAD. Stop watching AMERICAN TV!!! What happens on COPS and those other shows is in the USA (We DO NOT LIVE in the USA) Some municipalities have BYLAWS that license "Escorts" (Not Prostitutes) if so DO NOT use the word "ESCORT" in your ads. Use Courtesan or Prostitute or even Service Provider. If you get caught using the word "ESCORT" they can charge you. Some may try to charge you anyway cause they use this as a way to police the sex trade in a unethical and unconstitutional way.... you can appeal any by law charge and get it tossed out. Remember BY LAWS do NOT have any criminal records, they DO NOT have any JAIL TIME or anything like that. AGAIN... ANYONE SPREADING FALSE LEGAL INFORMATION IS CAUSING HARM TO OUR COMMUNITY AND NEEDS TO BE TOLD THEY ARE WRONG!

Goodtimes, Your stirring he pot, complaining about our policies and showing all the ladies that your someone they should avoid. If your getting trashed at times, disrespected, and sworn at by the ladies chances are you need to look in a mirror and ask why this is happening to you! Your post screams "undesirable client" and is only adding to your problem as all the lades here are just adding your name to the list of guys to avoid. As a member here you have agreed with the rules and policies of cerb, if you wish to stay you must follow and accept them. maybe this site is not for you? it most certainly is not for everyone and we do not try to make it appealing to everyone. posts like this will upset a lot of the ladies and gentlemen here and will just cause more work for us (the mods) as members here will flag these types of posts. lets be respectful and positive please.... and not stir the pot. I asked the council here last week if we should close this thread or remove it. The majority voted to allow it to stay (but with mixed votes/opinions).

I do hope your joking and just venting about your ex. Sounds like you have a stalker personality type hunting you down so getting someone else involved would be foolish (and a SP would never do this as it would put her at risk). Sounds like you need to maybe consider a restraining order or just simply stop affiliating with her. If your having long enough conversations with her where she can ask for names, job, etc... then you are not helping your problem are you!? Anyway.. before posting something like this it may be a good idea to think it over a little more first and ask yourself..."is this going to get flagged by people and waste the mods time" (I wish more people would think that before hitting that submit button)

That is true, if you choose to link it to your profile they need to register to see it. If say you link it to your recommendation page that would allow them to see it first. (THey can browse a few pages on cerb before the system asks them to register)

Wow, good way to get LOTS of SP's to flag your post and probably give you bad reputation and blacklist you. COMMENTS FLAGGED TO ME SO FAR ARE.... back handed attempt to get lower prices should be considered as propositioning. It's lazy (PAthetic) WTF?? what is this guy suggesting? This is just wrong. I would prefer that people just REPORT members like this then edging them on in public. He did not ask to close his account so I did this for him but please in the future keep in mind guys like this just do this to get a RISE out of all of you. It's best to report him and move on... let me deal with them.

And if google does not have it cached systems like archive.org (way back machine) probably has a copy of it too.

Incalls can be completely legal. If a lady does not use the same place as a common place of prostitution it is completely legal. For example, if she rents a hotel room and see's one guy at the room then leaves it's legal so saying she is entertaining or does in-calls is legal. It is only illegal if she is using the same place as a common place of prostitution. Also in most cities unless she has high traffic, multiple ladies working from the same location, drugs, pimps or anything like that involved the law tends to look the other way as everyone knows it is safer for the ladies so we do allow incalls. Cerb rules clearly state nothing illegal is to be discussed. The rules also say we DO NOT discuss streetwalkers here at all (If you do your post should be reported). We do not discuss FS at massage spa's (or even any extra's that could be considered a sexual act) and we do not discuss this happening in stripclubs either as your just going to get (1) the strip club in trouble and (2) possibly yourself as the police could ask the courts to order us to release your IP information if you admit openly here that you were involved in a illegal act. Now that has never happened but it could if you talk about illegal things so your very foolish to do this either way (I erase and warn anyone who does this as our members here will flag most illegal discussions to our attention).

Joeblow1969 asked me to close his account then opened this new account "gagagaga" so I have merged his joeblow account into this new account and reactivated it as it sounds like he has had second thoughts.

New moderated accounts can not start NEW recommendations but they can add comments to existing ones (MEG'S REC IS HERE: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?ltr=M&t=18300) Only 1 recommendation thread per lady (Unless she works in multiple cities) is permitted as well so starting a NEW one for Meg would be breaking the rules. Finally... keep in mind that this is not a review board. It's a recommendation board. (You leave out the ratings and the "cons" if any and focus on just the good stuff).

Please keep the site positive. Posting negative comments and rants is useless and counterproductive.

you asked me how to close your account.. I told you the info was in the faq? to eveyone else... just for the record i did not ask him to leave. He is being over dramatic here with his post and has some need for the sympothy or attention. He got all sensitve cause he asked a stupid question that anyone with 140+ posts should not need to ask! and he did not like my reply cause I guess it made him feel like a idiot. (and really it should) He complained in chat then opened a pm saying he has no idea how to post a new recommendation and is complaning that it is so difficult to do what should be such an easy thing to do.... then he opens a pm to me ranting on ... complaning about how this should not be so difficult ... and expressing his frustrations... (wasting my time as i cant make it much easier then what it is now! my reply was blunt and basically said that after 140 posts he should not have this difficulty posting a recommndation and he was the first person in all these years to have this difficulty as a big blue button exists at he top on the recommndation page that clearly says "make a new recommndation" (basically I gave him a very short and blunt "its not the site its you" speach) and i even took the time to copy the buttons into the replay PM spelling it out for him (painfully) so I suspect it made him feel a little stupid. he replies back to me (wasting more of my time) whining that my bluntness hurt his feelings and upset him horribly blah blah blah.... fishing for some appology i think! (by this time i am just done with him and bluntly tell him i dont have any patience for this and i am too busy for this crap) and he is demanding that I be more diplomatic ... he replies back telling me he thinks he wants to close his account cause i am not representing the company well and because i am not being nice to him (fishing for some appology from me or something or maybe just wants to waste more of my time) so my reply was "the info on how to close your account is in the faq area". so let me be very blunt! i am willing to help and if you dont waste my time i will be glad to help but don't forget that i am the moderator here, my job is not to change diapers, kiss anyones ass or be nice to anyone who needs thier hand held. The shout box was being abused. Apparently when you EDIT your post you can circumvent the character limit. I reduced this to 60 characters for a few days to see why was abusing it and thankfully a few people told me how they were doing this when I asked them. (Why they abused it in the first place is beyond me - they just risked getting banned from using it as we HATE people who feel the need to abuse such things as you wreck it for everyone when you do this and risk loosing a valuable resource for yourself) So... I have switched it back to 120 characters (2 lines per post) and you can still only have ONE VISIBLE POST in the shoutbox at any time. If anyone posts more then 120 characters in the shout box they will be banned from using it (No Warning) If anyone posts more then 1 visible post in the shout box they will be warned ONE TIME if they are a new member and then banned from using it if they do it again. Existing members should know better! If you figure out a way to take advantage of something on cerb (Like the shoutbox) and you abuse this I will not think twice about booting you off the site. Don't ABUSE anything on this site. It's free and it's here for you to enjoy and use fairly with everyone. If you feel the need to take advantage of something today without any regard for the future you will loose the privilege of being a member here.

At this time I am getting a lot of mixed info. Some say good others say bad and it looks like a case of YMMV. I have told Exotic Barbie that she can continue to post. Council has not voted on this issue (Basically cause enough people did not agree with this) but I had enough comments to justify leaving this warning up for the time being.
