Plus to add to fortunateone's info some cities license the use of the word "Escort" so if you are advertising yourself as a "Escort" or "Date" then you are obligated to purchase a city by-law license to operate as a "Escort" in that city. At this time the cities are NOT permitted to license "Prostitution" so you can advertise yourself as a callgirl/prostitute/etc.. and if the city bylaw enforcement charges you then you can appeal it (They would need proof you were advertising yourself as a "Escort" or going on non sex paid dates) City by-laws are NOT criminal code violations, they have NO criminal charges (It's the same as a parking ticket and they can send collection agencies after you for not paying your fines or deny you a license). As far as I know Barrie, Calgary, Edmonton and Windsor have these by-laws and I am not aware of any by-laws in any other city at this time. It's the CRIMINAL CODE stuff you really need to worry about. Incalls (especially commercial units such as FS massage spas, FS brothels, etc.. or even a high traffic private location that the neighbors take interest in as the police need to investigate any public complaints). Never discuss anything related to prostitution outside of a private space. For example a hotel lobby, bar, restaurant, common hallway to an apartment, etc. It must take place BEHIND closed doors out of the public eye. Street prostitution is very much illegal due to the public solicitation (and often acts of sex in public).

Switch to Firefox (Same with Safari users - Firefox is the better choice on the mac too. Was the first thing I downloaded on my new mac) IE is the NUMBER ONE targeted browser by the hackers/malware/etc... and they find exploits all the time. DON'T CLICK THE BIG BLUE 'e' (This thing switch to http://www.firefox.com it's free, is faster, has LESS issues on cerb then other browsers and it has a much nicer interface too)

I think hotmail had issues with this the last few days (Your not the first person I have heard this from) People get into panic mode thinking that their email was hacked (It could have been but chances are its a problem on the hotmail side)

Just yesterday I reinstalled windowsXP pro in a system that runs a old COM port controlled plotter. It installed and updated to SP3 online without a problem but I needed to install and run WGA Validation Tool (Windows genuine advantage) before the service packs and I had to update the bios on the old machine as well. If your copy of windows is legit (Not a copy or pirated version) you should not have a problem but a lot of computers have XP running that are not legit. 1) Make sure you have the sticker on the machine (The windows hologram sticker) 2) Make sure it is running WGA validation 3) allow it to download fully without turning your laptop off 4) when you reboot it can take a LONG time to shut off as it is installing large updates. Don't force a shut down, make sure it's plugged in or a full battery and let it shut down and restart on it's own. If you interrupt it you can cause some BAD things to happen (Corrupt system files) and require a full reinstall.

I have never been to a private club but I doubt very much that any place requires you to hand over your drivers license or some sort of ID to prove who you are. I suspect you get some type of member ID Card or something and I bet they have 100's of members named John Smith. Maybe I am wrong in assuming this but logic says many guys would be uncomfortable giving out legal full names for a membership to a place like this. Now I don't know for sure but I think calling (or going down to chat with) Jasime or any other club would be a better choice. Find out first hand what the policies are, how information is stored, etc... I bet it's a lot like your membership here on cerb. You have an alias (If you choose to have one) and no id is required but you are still a member.

This sounds like an advertisement for her and not a recommendation to the other guys. Posts like this will upset some of our members and others will assume you are promoting her (not as a client but as a promoter/agent) this type of post could actually do more harm then good.

Any Dangerous encounters (Posted by higher level members) and any confirmed Bait and Switch or Underage ladies are posted for the general public to see. If someone is new to the site and posts a warning I do not allow the post to go online unless someone else with higher post counts and reputation can back it up. This prevents slander and sabotage. The east coast is still fairly new to the online world. It's taken MANY years but we now see ads and posts from the East. Ottawa (Back in 1996) had Lyla.com and it was exactly the same stuff you see now going on in Halifax and other smaller towns across the country that are just getting into online advertising. Ottawa online escort culture has grown and matured over the years (Very well) with online etiquette and more ethical advertisers (and an amazing group of members too who help steer it in the right direction). It will come in time for other cities as well (will have some rough spots as it matures but nothing is perfect when it's new). We will see a lot of people come and go... and a lot who think they know all the answers. Fortunately we have a tried and tested site here that will help Halifax (and other cities) along the way.

If someone is banned for breaking the rules here we still allow them to be discusses (and recommended). They just can no longer advertise here themselves or use the site. If they are banned because of bait and switch, ripping someone off, etc.. any misleading, underage or dangerous situation.... that is a different story. The SP ONLY members and the ELITE members along with the MODS and the COUNCIL see a section that explains why people are banned. If someone is BANNED you should NOT question it unless you can see that section. If you have become a ELITE member here or have SP ONLY access you can comment on bans. Without this you DO NOT know the whole story (Probably only one side and your probably assuming things you should not) so please DO NOT comment in public here about topics like this.

Look up (Search for) credit card verification scams on here. CL (Craigs List) was famous for them. Don't EVERY give your credit card number for verification as you can buy a pre-paid visa/mc now with NO verification so being verified by your credit card is BS.

i need to chirp in too. i do not like anyone trying to promote, encourage or ask or bbfs on cerb. If this is what you are looking for you need to look somewhere else and not cerb. if you pm a lady asking for this (or) post asking for it we will remove you from the site. you put yourself, the ladies and other members in risk and this adds to negative stereotypes and sets the inustry back. in this day and age its too risky for anyone to do and anyone seeking this out is playing russian roulette. ask yourself if someone is willing to do this then they must have nothing to loose. these days it is not about just getting knoked up... your playing with deadly sti's and the rest of us pay for your heathcare!

AMENDMENT TO RULE Ladies who are Independent but work out of SPA locations who wish to advertise separately (Not advertise as the SPA but being available at a specific SPA must purchase a banner if they wish to advertise availability at these locations). On the banner, the lady can advertise only her own name, not the name of any of the spas and it can link to her profile here on cerb or a personal website (Not the SPA's website). She would have her OWN account (Not a SPA account but the name would show in RED like the paid agency account). She can mention the name of any (or all of the spas) she works at in the ads posted by her (but can't mention the spas or locations in her ad titles just the description).

That does not mean guys can not discuss her here. If this is a SHILL other members will report it to me with conflicting information but at this time no proof of that has been brought to my attention and the IP address is not giving any warnings (Because it's a low post count member I checked).. Also... As a new (Less then 5 posts) member he can not start a thread in the recommendation section and starting a recommendation thread by a -6 post count member in the discussion area (if the lady does not already have a recommendation thread running) should not be viewed as a rec at all... Just a comment about the lady that is open to discussion. If anyone has info that would make us think this is not a legit comment please report the post with your info. At this time I have no reason to suspect anything malicious.
