Chanel Exclusive (Using the account GoddessPersia) was removed by a Majority vote from our council after evidence was presented proving that Chanel's GoddessPersia account was used by her to send a UNSOLICITED PM to another cerb member promoting herself and slandering the ladies who he was asking for info about. (Claiming they were drug addicts and why he should not book with them but choose to book with her instead). We all found this very disgusting and unethical. Yes, it was related. I installed a secondary (Light) web server running fastcgi and forgot to configure the "Safe Mode" crap. If not done right the photos don't work. I fixed it. This seams to have increased the server speed some more as well.

It's brutally SLOW again. :( poor servers can't keep up. Over 1600 people on the site at this very moment. The servers tanked and were offline for 3 hours today. I am doing eveyrthing I can to keep them alive till the upgrade. The main server is taking a beating and I have ordered a new one and later this week I will be upgrading it. The traffic is just INSANE since the CL close. First the database server was getting pummeled and now that that was upgraded to a massive 8 core 16GB xeon system it's humming along just fine but the core server (Runs the PHP scripts) is seeing 8 second delays (and in the world of page load times that is HUGE) so yesterday I ordered a new 4 core (8 hyperthread) system for the core server and I will be upgrading that later in the week. Expect some down time however as this will be a MAJOR update and I do need to take the server offline for some time to complete this update.

The ladies use to do this to track what sites they were getting the biggest response from but as you could imagine with forums and more and more sites this caused massive confusion. TOG in Toronto is one of the only ones I know of that show real photos (From what I am told) Many of the idie Asian ladies show real photos but it's hard to find them so look for recommendations with high post count members!

Problem is most of the agencies do use real photos but when that lady is not available they send substitutes without notifing the guy (So they do not loose the call). If you do not do this then you should post daily here on cerb with photos of the ladies and schedules and show the guys that a stand up agency exists in Barrie. stereotyping all agencies in this way is not fair. they do not all do this. many reputable agencies exist in many cities. I don't know any in Barrie to recommend however and I live here!

the ladies have full control over the ads. most of them log in and update the ads regularly.... ec however keeps the phones busy and really if the ad is working for them why change it. they should update photos at least once a year but more then that is not necessary. keep in mind that you guys (the forum members) are only a small portion on the traffic. most of the guys who call/book the ladies do not participate on sites like this. we estimate that only 10% to 20% of traffic to the ladies ads on ec are hobbyists and use the forums. many are first timers and are seeing the ads you regularly view for the first time. Because ec stopped offering free trial ads for the last 6 years the new ads were only from serious paying advertisers but now it's time to change and allow free trial ads again as the traffic to ec is at least 5 times higher now that cl is gone... so they now have way too much traffic and not enough ads! something they have not faced in many years do to cl taking so much of he traffic (market share). it's a balancing act. too many advertisers and little traffic means no paid advertisers as the ladies are not busy enough to justify paying or the ads... too much traffic and not enough ads is also bad as the ladies get too busy and start pulling ads cause the volume of calls and inquiries is too high (yes, they remove the ads for weeks at times cause they get overbooked and overwhelmed) ec has a balance ratio they try very hard to maintain but right now they have way too much traffic and not enough ads running for all the traffic so the free trials have started again finally as this sudden increase tipped the scales.

FYI the photos on ec are not verified. unless you see a verified photo icon under the main photo on the ad. The ads are moderated and they do remove the obvious fakes but the bad ones do slip in and we depend on you all using the report prolem button on the ads if something bad happens. even verified photos is not 100% we have issues in Winnipeg with ladies verifying photos and still sending substitutes when they are not available. sites like cerb and ck.'s diary are very important still.... and you are safer using ec then most other sites as they do remove the bad apples and the ads are moderated (and all problem reports are investigated) but nothing is ever a sure thing and ec has no control over the quality of the services being provided, they do not remove ads cause someone did not have a good time... as long as some service and/or time was provided and not a cash and dash robbery scam or bait and switch they allow the advertiser to continue... the golden rule is ymmv ( and buyer beware ). ec is now also allowing free two week trials (so this does bring the cheats and sammers) but it also brings lots of quality ads too. we have to take the good and the bad. also for the first time in over 10 years ec is allowing ads to run with no photos as they are trying out some new marketing ideas to bring the orphaned (but quality) cl advertisers to ec and introduce them to paid advertising with the free trial. so many of you supported cl over the years ... searching out the good advertisers in the mess of bad ones. while cl took the market share of escort traffic from all of the directories including ec, this changed the industry and now with cl gone it's a race for all of us to regain our lost market shares back. so ec is changing to adapt but still doing it's best to keep the scams off the site.

go daddy is probably the best choice and I think they include omain forwarding free.

not a farm yet. one really big 8 core server one quad core un the main site. technically that is 12 CPU cores however and over 24 gigs of ram..... then we have a server or the chat room and a offsite backup server but that doesn't count. ;) I think we need to upgrade the quad core server soon too... it's still slowing down and we maxed the ram out.... maybe next month.

Seams to be working... 550% server load but that is ok as we are running 8 cores so as long as that does not hit 800% server load we are good.

The server for the flash chat room (FMS server) was pre-paid for a few months I beleive (Accounting here is looking into this for me) so we may have both for a while still... but the chat box is back and we are testing it now. The new server should be able to handle the load (I hope!) - cross your fingers!!

Sorry this was not the first time. I am not penalizing anyone I am simply making an adjustment for everyone to prevent this from happening in the future. We have another lady very upset cause one of the elite members who had this ability decided to go back and delete all the nice comments. This is the same as going back and deleting the threads... it's just not cool. I would like to trust everyone that they would not do this and you would think that a elite member would not do this... but again someone did. It's just better to turn off the feature at this time.
