Just install parallels and install your current Windows OS in Parallels and run it in coherence mode. Here is a example video Then you have the best of both worlds.

I think this is great that you all are planning a Christmas party for the cerb community. Some people have been confused however and are under the impression that cerb management (Myself included) are putting on this event. I just need to publicly state that this is not the case. The members here of cerb (Looks like ottanon and Angelaofottawa) are the members organizing this for everyone for all of you and they are doing it independent of the site. This is not a "Official" event organized by cerb management it is a party organized by the members here for the members. With paid tickets it is extra important that this be stated. None of the proceeds of this event will be collected, distributed or received by myself (The MOD of cerb.ca) or any of the management/owners of the site.

DO NOT POST LADIES (Or Massage Spa) RATES IN PUBLIC - PLEASE! The ladies or agencies (or spa's) can do this in the announcements but you can not Ladies, agencies and Massage spa's all change rates. Some more often then others. It's a supply and demand thing. If you post the ladies rates other guys may feel ripped off when they go in and find a different price is offered. For this reason we DO NOT post rates. It is also bad etiquette and promotes SHILL posting. Please READ the rules for cerb. We also DO NOT allow reviews and some of you feel the need to post "REVIEWS" of ladies and massage spa's. You can recommend them but if you comment on negative stuff (that could be damaging to a ladies business or a spa or agency) you are breaking the rules. Other sites exist for that sort of thing - cerb is not meant to be used that way. We only report dangerous situations and proven bait and switch (both require some proof).

She apparently is showing people ID so maybe she turned 18 by now but if her ID puts her any older then 18 she is showing you her sister's ID! We have a very good source that tells us that the ID she is showing still is actually her sisters ID (Who is also a SP under the name Stacey who is a few years older then her). Guy's... Keep in mind that the RCMP is watching CL very closely right now to find underage girls! The RCMP wants CL to shut down the adult ads in Canada like they did in the USA. You can be sure that the police read these posts and investigate stuff like this!
-
I received a PM today saying that she is now working under the name "Victoria" and is working at Dylan's Finest still. (or possibly this is another underage girl at Dylan's finest) either way stay away from this agency and affiliates. If the lady looks YOUNG ask her for ID. If she refuses cut your losses and LEAVE.

I would hope no one would admit to this. thread closed.

Locks of love is legit.

I plan to do this myself. I am about the 10inch mark now so probably in the early new year it will sent off. Remember to cut it while in a tight pony tail or they can't use it. Any hair that falls out of the pony tail is not usable.

Yes, Avatars, album photos, etc... (It's all Data that goes into the database) the actual photos would not be erased from the hard drive BUT the database holds the LINKS to the PHOTOS associating them with your profile so they would all need to be re-uploaded to the profile to build the links again. Everything on this site is database driven so anything you did last week... was lost. -
LOL!... That is one way to "donate" that is for sure.

Mandatory STD testing for sex workers?
mod replied to Megan'sTouch's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
This is what i prsonally expect if the ndustry is decriminalized.... the cities would make bylaws and charge license fees high enough to cover policing costs, weekly and monthly health inspections for std/sti screening, and of course put money into the cities budgets. like exotic dancer and escort licenses each person would need to go into city hall and pay for a license, get a photo doe and receive a laminated licese with photo along with a licese number... same as exotic dancers. the dancers get fines if these licenses are not present during bylaw inspections (I worked in Hamilton running a strip club and had weekly bylaw inspections) and of course oe clubs would hide ladies when the inspectors came so it's not foolproof) you can count on municipal licenses if its decriminalized completely as that leaves it up to the individual municipalities to license and zone. if they legalize it we will see provisions made in the criminal code and I suspect they would use austrailia's approach as a reference as the laws are very detailed and the have a similar moral structure as us canadiens so it would probaly be the most acceptable. it depends a lot on who is in power here in Canada when it comes to making a change as well.... conservatives will lobby to make I illegal or very highly regulated...liberals may lean towards decriminalizing (none moral and the easy way to deal with it for them). split as it is now.... probably something in the middle like austrailia. that is my thoughts on it and I not see mandatory Health checks as too far fetched by any extent. they will see it as "you choose sex as your career you need to get monthly STD checks" you need a better defense to lobby as saying the politicians should also have mandatory checks is not e same (yes they screw people but it's not the same).... if you choose sex as a career like porn stars and they legalize it I could very well see the public wanting sti screens monthly. -
That is correct, support for the site is best done with banner sales and your contributions to the site (Posts). As much as I may complain about being over worked and limited budgets the banner sales have picked up a fair amount this year and EC does generously pay for the cerb site and me. I can not complain about that.... but the banner sales do put more into the site as money from the banner sales go to things such as the chat room (Video server required for the room) and custom upgrades (when I have to hire a outside programmer) to do work on the site. Thanks for thinking of the site and me! ;) Keep on posting and showing your support that way and the site will continue to grow... as long as it sends traffic regularly to EC cerb will be paid for.

Mandatory STD testing for sex workers?
mod replied to Megan'sTouch's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I know in the Nevada brothels the ladies are shown how to screen guys for warts, herpes and other STI's that have physical signs. All guys must undergo a "inspection" from the ladies before any contact begins as far as I can tell as well. I think they use some UV/Blacklight thing to inspect the guys junk. From Nevada State Heath: http://www.thebody.com/Forums/AIDS/SafeSex/Q8899.html ..................... In Nevada licensed brothels, by law, prostitutes prior to working MUST be screened for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and HIV. If they are found positive for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, or Syphilis, they cannot begin work until they are adequately treated, followed-up, and test negative on a subsequent test. For HIV, they are barred from working for life. There have been brothel applicants who have tested positive for HIV. Because of their HIV positive status, they were prohibited from working at all. Under Nevada law, once a prostitute begins working in the legal brothels, they are tested weekly for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, and monthly for Syphilis and HIV. If they are found positive for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, or Syphilis, they are immediately prohibited from working, and cannot return to work until they are adequately treated, followed-up, and test negative on a subsequent test. For HIV, they would be immediately barred from working for life. To date, no actively working legal brothel prostitute has ever tested HIV positive. However, from time to time, there are cases of Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and rarely Syphilis, among active brothel workers. Chlamydia is the most common STD seen, however this is not a surprise, since Chlamydia is the most common STD in the USA overall. Nevada law also requires that latex condoms must be used during all sexual activity. ..................... Amsterdam's Red Light District: No mandatory STD/STI screening ..................... AUSTRAILIA: http://www.ashm.org.au/HIVLegal/Default.asp?publicationID=2&SectionID=337 Although there is no overt mandatory testing of sex workers in Australian states and territories, three jurisdictions (Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and Victoria) operate what might be considered a de facto system of mandatory testing of sex workers with resulting exclusion from the sex industry (or sections of it) if a worker refuses to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV. The structure of legislation and guidelines combine to ensure brothels will only employ sex workers who undergo prescribed tests: In Queensland, a licensee or approved manager of a licensed brothel must not permit a sex worker to work if infected with an STI (including HIV). It is a defence if the licensee or approved manager believed on reasonable grounds that the person had regular medical examinations and was not living with HIV (Section 89, Prostitution Act 1999). Regular medical examinations are defined as occurring every 3 months (Section 9, Prostitution Regulations 2000). In Victoria, it is an offence to allow a sex worker with an STI (including HIV) to work in a brothel, escort agency or other business. It is a defence if the person reasonably believed that the sex worker was undergoing regular health checks (quarterly blood tests and monthly swab tests) and reasonably believed the person did not have an STI (Section 19, Prostitution Control Act 1994). (Of note, section 161 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 requires brothel and escort agency proprietors to take reasonable steps to ensure that evidence of a sex worker’s attendance at a medical examination or the results of the examination are not used to induce a client to believe a sex worker is free from HIV infection.) Private sex workers cannot work while they have an STI, including HIV ( Prostitution Control Act, section 20), so must also adhere to monthly testing (as a defence should transmission of an STI occur). In the Australian Capital Territory, each owner and operator of a brothel or escort agency must take reasonable steps to ensure a sex worker does not provide commercial sexual services if he or she has an STI, including HIV (Section 24, Prostitution Act 1992). ‘Reasonable steps’ is not defined, but is generally understood by owners and operators to mean that they must guarantee their workers are routinely tested. The Australian Capital Territory also requires registration of private workers. The Prostitution Act also states (at section 25) that: A person shall not, at a brothel or elsewhere, provide or receive commercial sexual services if the person knows, or could reasonably be expected to know, that he or she is infected with a sexually transmitted disease Unfortunately that section is erroneously named ‘Knowingly infecting’, implying that working while HIV positive or having an STI is equivalent to transmitting the infection to another person. The maximum penalty for working with HIV is six months imprisonment. Notably, section 25 of the Prostitution Act also makes it illegal for a client with HIV (or another STI) to receive commercial sexual services. -

Yes, the government would not do this.... but individual municipalities anything is possible. For instance in Hamilton Ontario the Exotic dancers require police clearance checks and need to pay a License fee each year of 400.00 (The managers and owners also need licenses and police checks). In Barrie you can not have a "Escort" license unless you work for a agency with a license and a commercial building to receive the calls from (1000.00+ for agency license and I think it's 300.00 for each lady per year). Calgary, Windsor and Edmonton have the most enforced laws that target anyone without a license (The laws enforce how you can advertise your business, require you to keepp logs of all appointments, and much more!). Some municipalities limit stripclubs so much that it is impossible to open one (Zoning). Some limit your hours of operation... tell you that you can not operate on Sundays, can not stay open after 11pm or before 3pm (or both) etc... etc... What I am saying is that the municipalities will enforce these ANY WAY they see fit and the only way to stop them is to take the municipality to court where the judge would obviously deem the bylaw unconstitutional. They use the bylaws to keep these "unwanted" business's out of the cities! The municipalities focus on the fact that not many people would ever go to the effort of taking something like this to court. -
On EC we go by complaints.... if the guys complain about bait and switch or scams about any lady we look into it and often require them to VERIFY photos but this by no means will tell you if she is the lady for you! These sites help you make the right choice.

That is a little harsh. It is very much prostitution but it no longer becomes free will. Prostitution is the ONLY high paying job that you do not need to go work for someone else. Massage spa's, strip clubs, agencies even all have set hours and they don't want anyone with a drug addiction in the facilities.... especially if they are leaving all the time to get high. With street prostitution you set your own hours and it's cash. Basically if you are in a bad place it's quick money and your not robbing or stealing from anyone. Really when you think of the alternatives... streetwalking is really not the worst choice by any stretch of the imagination! Who's going to hire you for a 9 to 5 job? Especially one that will pay for the addiction?! The problem is when you have a drug addiction it's really the only choice. You could rob and steal or you could turn to prostitution (Really nothing else exists to choose from other then quitting the drugs and once your addicted that is almost impossible to stop on your own - you really become trapped). It is "Sex Work" but not "escorting" and not the same as massage spa attendants or exotic dancers either. 99% of the ladies online are not drug addicts (Many drink and smoke pot but do not work as an escort to pay for any drug addiction)... What I always say is when do you ever see a crack addict using a computer. They would not own a computer or really have any interest in it... most do not own a cell phone and who would use a internet cafe?? We owned a internet cafe for YEARS with streetwalkers working right in front of it in a downtown location... not ONE streetwalker ever came in to use a computer... but the local escorts sure did!! If you have a chemical addiction your not going to spend 10.00 at a internet cafe... your going to spend it on your addiction. A pimp may place ads on CL and bait and switch guys to come see you in some shady part of town... but thankfully few of the pimps really have much interest in that either. The general public puts all SEX WORKERS and especially all PROSTITUTES into one big group! The public needs to know that streetwalkers (The ones who have addictions and are doing that because they have no choice) are NOT the same as "escorts".. a smaller number of streetwalkers do not deal with pimps, do not do drugs and do not fit the stereotype and I am not sure why they work on the streets as opposed to inside as all of the escorts do here. I see why in a way as it's easy (no phone to answer, no bookings, instant work, instant cash, etc... etc..) but the danger level is way to high and comfort levels are way too low for most people who don't NEED to do that. Maybe some people just don't know how to be an escort and work inside (off the streets) so the laws changing may help those people and for that I would be happy. I think the public things that streetwalkers start off innocent and turn to drugs... personally I think it's the other way around! I think a lot of people turn to street walking AFTER they become addicted (as the addiction grows). At first the addiction can be hidden... you can hold a job and your only spending 20-30 a day on the drug but the addiction grows bigger to the point that you loose your job (or your parents kick you out) or whatever happens happens... and you have NO WHERE to turn to. I know some people are drawn to be a streetwalker (especially at a young age) as they see EASY MONEY and then get trapped in a world of drugs and pimps but I still beleive a MUCH LARGER number of ladies end up addicted to drugs then turn to prostitution AFTER the fact. Am I wrong about this? -

streetwalkers who are working as prostitutes to support a chemichal addiction (crack, meth, heroin, etc) would not be all that welcome in a brothel and I am sure if the legalize or decriminalize it we will see brothel licenses, inspections, mandatory drug testing all enforced by the city bylaws. at least in the major cities. either way will not bring a large portion of the street prostitution inside. only the ladies who are working on the streets that are not supporting a drug addiction but I agree.... any choice is better then no choice and if it saves even one life it's worth he effort. some politians and public think this will somehow end street prostitution and pimps. those people live off some far off fantasy world!! -

It is true.. anyone who was banned (including all the spammers from the last 7 days) get a break as the clock gets turned back. Anyone who received warnings or infractions get off easy and unfortunately anyone who received a recommendation, nominated post or reputation bump has lost it :( So... Please... Everyone help each other out. If you posted a recommendation or gave someone some reputation points last week please repost the recommendation and re-rep your fellow members. I know I gave a few people rep last week and for the life of me I can't remember who they all were.... I will wake up in the middle of the night and remember I am sure. We have exhausted all our efforts to retrieve the lost posts. I was up all night trying to fix everything and I called in a favor from a database specialist of mine to help too. We could not salvage the lost posts as the database. We would fix one spot and that would bring down 2 or 3 other area's. Something very good came out of this however.... Luckily it was only 7 days and it allowed me to find out that the database was not backing up correctly so we are actually very fortunate. The database backup was not giving any errors and appeared to be working fine. So it would have continued to do this. If this had have happened 4 months from now (or even a year from now) we would have had to turn back the database to November 15 2010. So in a way we are very lucky we only lost 7 days. When I did the work last Monday to the system I manually backed up the database (and this is the only reason why we were lucky to only loose 7 days) Anyway... maybe it was divine intervention? lol (Murphy's law more like it) -

I am slowly redoing all the work I did last week on the site. The new buttons have been put back on under the posts... (Cause the new members don't know they need to click the users name to send a PM and they keep posting private messages in public by hitting the REPLY button instead of PM'ing the comments.) (So you can reference easily the post history of each user if you question his/her post. This will make it easier to spot shill posts and trouble makers) Easily add people to your contact lists (Social Networking) but don't be offended if someone does not ADD you! I personal DO NOT accept any friend requests as I must stay neutral and it would appear that I was favoring someone if they were on my friends list. Some of the ladies and men ONLY add the people they have met in person as "Friends" others will add everyone who is nice to them. It's a personal preference so do not be offended by this feature as everyone uses it in a different way. This one speaks for itself. For some reason many people miss the icon up top... so I have added this to the bottom to really make it stand out. [/url] -

I will be extra careful not to click that button in the wrong spot again! I made this thread a mandatory read as I was getting all sorts of pm's asking what happened and this will just help stop that. if your browser locks the rest of the site out on you et me know as some people have had that problem in the past with the mandatory read feature. -
