I really screwed up. I installed a new SPAM removing tool and antlerman had flagged a post earlier today as SPAM for me and I hit the SPAM REMOVAL button but instead of hitting it on the OFFENDING post I hit the one on antlermans reply post by mistake. This caused the system to instantly remove all the spammers posts, it sends him a email and bans him. So basically all 3000+ posts that antlerman had made here over the years were deleted in on click instantly. I went to restore the DB from the backup file from last night and the backup file is not working (Says it has an error). I tried a number of backups until I found one that worked (From November 15th) so all posts, PM's, etc... from November 15th till today will most likely be gone for everyone. I could not exactly leave antlerman with ZERO posts as that would remove all the recommendations and help he has given to the community over the years so I went ahead and restored the site from the Nov 15th backup. I also fixed the problem that was causing the backup system to have corrupt files. Usually if something like this happens I could simply backup from the night before as the server does daily backups but that unfortunately was not possible today. Very sad... and I am very sorry.... it was a dumb mistake on my part and I hope no one lost any PM's or Posts that are you can't live without. Another example as to why we need to proceed with the council. I am just making sill mistakes cause I am overworked.

in actually think the webcam is a great marketing tool but it is not for everyone that is for sure... and the ladies who do use it need to have thick skin (meaning there will always be some idiot guy trying to get off on the webcam or feel the need to be rude). for those who have been to a real red light district know the ladies are in the windows trying to be enticing to get the guys to come in. some of the ladies think this is degrading but some embrace this and it really does work if done right but it's not for everyone and it gets some oposition.

The IPAD has some quarks - especially with the keyboard but they are working on that. It's missing stuff like a backspace key, a CTRL key (Things that are very important for a system admin like me) but thankfully the APPS for system admin stuff ADD those keys usually in a extra menu. Not having multitasking sucks as you want to go back and forth from email to web and other programs all running at the same time (You can't yet). Also the safari browser has some issues (Copy and paste does not always work and is hard to master with the touch) the browser pages sometimes reload when you switch from one to another (This is annoying as you can loose stuff if your copy and pasting from one browser window to another) the browser is not TABBED but other TABBED browsers exist (Also have some quarks however)..... but this I am sure can all be fixed and you have to expect this stuff with such a new product. Jailbreaking is VERY easy. It's just a single download and run... it does all the work for you and you can restore it back to normal without any problem. Just don't go randomly installing stuff (Make sure it has been tested on the jailbroken device) If you jailbreak it now you can multi task with it (Apparently at the end of this month OS4 will be out on the ipad allowing multitasking) you can also run flash on the jailbroken device (Apple has no plans for that from what I can tell). The flat surface keyboard does take some getting use to and the keyboard layout change button to get to the numbers (I hate that) but I purchased the keyboard and it works just like a desktop (It's the same desktop keyboard with the CTRL button, numbers, etc... so when you need to use a full keyboard you just dock it). Now the big one for me... when it's docked in the keyboard you REALLY miss the mouse!! Using the touchscreen when it's docked is a PAIN and very unnatural (I can not get use to it) and the ONLY way to use a MOUSE with the IPAD is to jailbreak it. The thing is FULL bluetooth compatible but they will not approve a APP to allow you to run a bluetooth mouse (Just a keyboard) probably because they want you to buy the airbook if you wanted a full netbook type experience. If you JAILBREAK it you can run virtually ANY bluetooth mouse!! <- This + Flash + Multitasking makes it VERY desirable to jailbreak. As for the refurbished MAC's out of the mac store... that is good advise! The mac store will make sure the device is in top shape before selling it. Reputation is important to them (Unlike some of the PC manufactures) I would not hesitate in buying a refurbished mac from the mac store...

Download something like ubuntu (Very simple and works with almost all laptops these days) it gives new life to a old machine and runs MUCH faster then windows (and no virus issues)

Do you need a laptop or will a netbook due? Many people do not know the difference but it sounds like a netbook is all you really need. The "watch movies" thing may be an issue as some netbooks do not have DVD players and most do not have large hard drives so you can't store a lot of movies on the actual drive.. Laptops are made to be more powerful so that you can actually run desktop applications on them. Netbooks however are mobile processors and don't have all the storage and power the laptops have. Netbooks are made to use the internet, email, watch movies (DVD not store movies on the hard drive as the storage is often smaller) but the price is right and the batteries usually last MUCH longer on the netbooks as they CPU's and drives don't drain the battery so much. A netbook is very much like your smart phone / tablet but with a large screen and keyboard. So.... if you need power (big Word documents, smoother multitasking, large and complicated Excel spreadsheets, photoshop, editing movies, playing 3d games, multimedia presentations, or even custom software and databases) you need a powerful laptop but know that the batter will die quicker the bigger you go! More powerfull mean more battery. If you are just browsing the web, doing emails and such the netbooks long batter life and 1/2 the price of a laptop make is VERY attractive. I bought the Ipad (It's technically a tablet netbook) I have not touched my laptop since. The battery lasts all day long, it's light and easy to carry around and does everything I need (except photoshop and multitasking and apparently they are working on both). I do however miss the mouse (but you can jailbreak it and use pretty much any bluetooth mouse). The airbook from the MAC is awsome! It's so light and thin (it's like the ipad with a lot more power and all the stuff the ipad is missing to make it a full netbook). I am 99% sure the airbook has no hard drive (All flash ram) and this would greatly improve battery life. Best of all it's a MAC so email virus's, trojans, worms, etc... are virtually non existent so you don't have to run a anti-virus (that also kills the battery and slows the system down)

I am in the illidan realm most of the time with my horde lvl80 dk but I also have a Mage and a hunter on other realms that I occasionally play.

a court challenge in the 80's here in Canada defined "place" as a physical public location. a magaine (was either eye or now magazine in Toronto). was charged for allowing the escorts to advertise in it. the magazine took this to court and won as the judge determined that a magazine is not a "place". making advertising in newsprint, tv, and Internet all very much legal. now, if you advertise you do illegal things (in calls) or advertise you do stuff like "car dates". and "public sex". that is illegal.

We had that problem at the clubs I ran with the tan solution getting all over a guys nice suite. Same with body spray's... We asked the ladies not to use self tan stuff and not to only spray perfume or body spray anywhere other then on their neck and explained why (It can damage some nice clothes and relationships). Funny thing is the spray on tan stuff (at least back in the day when I ran the clubs) it made a funny orange GLOW under the blacklights (Not Sexy) and the lights were so dimm that using this was pointless. Asking the ladies to not do something however often falls on def ears so a change of clothes is probably a good idea for those who could have some issues with this.

You can tell if the thread is being read (It displays how many people have read each thread) most of the time these are not answered as they have been covered before... if not then no one has anything to say on the subject. No, of course not. Big difference between BUMPING a thread to get more attention to it and posting more information on the subject. I would not think anyone would need to ask such a question. Yes! Newbie's need to learn how to use the SEARCH button and how to ask a question properly... to do this they need to spend some time reading posts on the site, exploring the site, making friends on the site, etc... (And reading the rules) most newbie questions have been covered (MANY TIMES) but most people who ask these questions don't even bother searching for the answers first. Thankfully we have some great members that when they have time they will reply to these threads with links to the previous discussion and a comment that the search features is a good place to start. I use to do this but I no longer have time to do it thankfully we have some amazing members here who do find time to help and welcome the newbies and that is what that section is for. The BIG problem however is guys like the obscure fetish guys or the guys looking for service in a specific obscure area (because they do not have a car usually). For instance the guy posting over and over asking for recommendation on anyone working in some remote section of northern Quebec and who can forget DiaperBOy who is looking for a mommy and wants to post every day complaining that no one has given him and suggestions on someone willing to change his crappy diaper. + That is mainly why I needed to make these rules. The comments Shay is referring to were removed. When someone gets a warning or a infraction 99% of the time the offending post is removed. Shay commented on her own recommendation thread. As explained above I use to ignore these if the thank you was done within 24 hours (even 48 hours) but when people were commenting a few weeks later and BUMPING the thread back to the top of the recommendations with the thank you's it was making many people mad. Some were just randomly commenting on the threads as well to bump them... it's too hard to police now with the 24/48 hour leeway and this was hard to explain and confused people (Basically made it even harder to police) so the rule was made that NO commenting on the recommendations is permitted by the ladies (If they wish to thank the guy post on his guestbook or by PM - then no one gets accused of bumping a recommendation thread)

Nope it was the site. Still not sure what did it... could have just been a hiccup. We are monitoring it closely to make sure it's nothing too serious. It generated something like 20 thousand error messages and sent them all to my email so that was lots of fun to deal with too! :(

I have never heard of this limit... You are limited to 10 images (and each one does count as a image) This is news to me... :?::lol::lol::-):-) :?::lol::lol::-):-) Anyone else have this issue?? Maybe its a setting in one user group and not another? It is not intentional.

WIT has given you a great answer. If you (the customer) rents a room and you invite the lady to the room then it is not considered a common place of prostitution...but if she rents the room and takes multiple calls to that room... it can be considered a common bawdy house.

Site was down... back online now.... database crashed hard and had to restore it... not sure why yet but someone was trying to hack the server the moment it went offline so I have my suspicions it was a syn/dos attack. Still sifting over server logs... but at least we are back online.

He was very clear (In fact the title of the thread was "Agencies") To be honest if someone posted a thread specifically asking for a INDIE GIRL and someone like PK (or any agency) posted this following post Hi everyone! I'm curious about 1 thing. Is there a reason why you would only limit yourself to independent ladies?. There are many AGENCIES out there, PK FOR INSTANCE that offer quality service, at reasonable rates. Agencies actually on some occasions offer the same services, on short notice for equal or lesser cost than an independent ladies since they have much higher volume. If you're looking for short notice bookings I'm sure many of the agencies, including ours, would gladly oblige. Just my thoughts. Indies have their place but we agencies do too. You may have not known but it was a very easy guess (even for me and I live in Barrie 500km from Ottawa but just by reading the site and comments people make it's very easy to see who he is referring too. He choose to air his frustrations out on cerb and let everyone know who he was talking about Trying to save face by not actually saying her name but saying enough that almost everyone knows exactly who he is talking about... Read his comment carefully... Read the post title "After 3 years I am leaving" this was a F.U. letter calling a lady out on cerb (Very much against the rules). The lady choose to reply so the post stays (If she had have flagged it and asked me to remove it I would have). I am going to now close it so I don't have to deal with anymore B.S. over this but I will leave the post so the other ladies can see what Carlos felt the need to do... I think this guy should be blacklisted but that is not up to me.

I was going to delete this as it's a lot of "laundy" being aired out but on second thought I think it should stay for TWO reasons. 1) People have taken the time to reply 2) This Carlos guy is showing everyone some true colors and even though no one is blacklisting him... he is doing a great job at that himself.
