It sure would and the podcast idea is great! I love to see the techie stuff being utilized! I am sure many of the ladies (and guys) still don't know what a "podcast" is so that alone would be a GREAT topic! We would love to have a couple of the ladies contribute to columns for the industry. We are working on a list of topic idea's that we feel would appeal to the ladies and the guys (I will post at a later date) if anyone has topic idea's feel free to post them or PM them to me.

Need some input from the community.. again ;) We (Myself and some of the staff here) are working on a online Adult Entertainment E-Zine (Electronic magazine) specific for Canada the we hope to be launching later this year. The website is in the works and we are at the final planning stages but would like to ask you all for some input. Like cerb the intention of this magazine is not to make money but to bring traffic to our sites (cerb, escorts-canada, Localescorts, etc...) and to help the community. The reason few of these e-zines exist is because a subscription would need to be charged to be able to afford to keep a venture like this afloat (or) it would need a number of paid advertisers both of these things are not easy to come by! No one wants to pay to advertise in a magazine that is new, online magazine subscriptions are not very popular these days still (but are growing) and e-zines are not as popular for advertising as printed magazines so a new adult online magazine is a hard sell). Since we are not looking to make money from this ... that is not really a concern for us. We may include classified ads and paid ads down the road but for now the plan is a free magazine (No subscription cost) and release an issue every 3 months to start (with the hopes of having it eventually become a monthly publication). We have an editor for the magazine and the techies here (Myself included) will be maintaining the site so the overhead for us to do this is relatively low. What we need are idea's and Columnists for such things as... - Advise Column (Dear Abby / Savage Love / Etc...) - Lawyers Advise (Legal Issues - if we can find someone qualified) - Heath issues (A doctor or a nurse?) - Event Coverage in various cities (Sex shows, parities, socials) - Sex Workers Associations (News, Legal Battles, etc) - Interesting Stories (From SP's or the Guys) Other idea's we are passing around are... - Gentleman's Club Bloggers? - Featured interviews with high profile SP's - Business Basics - Finance tips (including tax tips) - Marketing your Business - Etiquette tips - How to hire a escort guide - How to spot a scam (Tin Eye, Bait and switch what to do, etc...) - Techies Tips (Websites, Hosting, Free sites, banners, etc..) - Erotic Story I have suggested that the pages turn just like a REAL magazine and be an actual publication with LIVE LINKS to active discussions. We don't want it to be like a discussion forum as that is what cerb is for. Now your turn... What would you like to see in a publication like this?? If anyone has suggestions for topics or would like to contribute to the magazine please post here or PM me! We will not have any paid columnists but I suspect a number of people will want to contribute and be a part of the e-zine. I hope others are as excited about this as we are.

AVG and SPYBOT are a good combo and do help prevent spyware/trojans/worms/virus/etc.... BUT (and this is a BIG BUT)..... nothing is 100% unless you disconnect your computer from the internet and never insert a disk, cd, thumbdrive, etc... into it!! The way the antivirus works is that it looks for signatures of "KNOWN" virus/trojans/etc... (Same with spyware). This means when a virus is let go into "the wild" it infects lots of computers as the VIRUS DEFINITIONS are not instant. (This is why your antivirus is forever downloading updates or definitions). With the SPEED of email and the web in general a virus can be passed around VERY quickly (Way quicker than the antivirus companies can write the code to detect them). If you Avoid opening email attachments (Even from friends) - Files that end with ".exe", ".ini", ".bat", ".pif". ".vbs" ".zip" are a few extensions of executable files that can launch dangerous programs, although they are, of course, sometimes legitimate. Some .wmv files (Movies) can contain virus's .pdf and stuff like word docs with macros or excel docs with macros can contain virus's (and the list goes on) at this time .jpg and .gif are safe (Images) but some people send files that look like myHotPhotoblablabla.gif.exe and this fools some people as they see .gif and think it's ok but really the LAST extension is the nasty one!! In this case .exe The most spread virus's come from trusted sources. Your friends computer gets a virus and your on his/her email list... the virus sends a copy to you pretending to be your friend. You think it's a trusted source and you open it... WHAM! you and 10000's of others are infected and it was SO QUICK that the antivirus companies don't even know that this virus exists yet (let alone how to prevent it) The antivirus companies need to get a copy of the virus, disassemble it and see what it does than develop a detection algorithm and often a way to remove it if it is already wormed it's way in. This can take WEEKS!!!!!! SO YOU ARE NEVER 100% SAFE (Maybe 60% with a Antivirus at BEST but it is still worth having a antivirus and spyware running as 60% is better than 0%)

keep in mind that some municipalities have "escort licenses" and this only pertains to social dates!! they could call you up asking for a paid social date and give you a ticket for escorting without a license! these so called escort bylaws do NOT pertain to prostitutes as it is illegal for the cities to license prostitution!? Winnipeg, Calgary, Barrie, Windsor, Vancouver, and probably some other cities too have these municipal escorting licenses. usually 4000.00 a year or more! it's a way to try to police and cash in on anyone advertising prostitution as a "paid escort" charging less for a social date in these cities would be foolish as it could end up costing you a lot more in the long run.

You can ADD your comments to existing recommendation threads. As a NEW moderated member you can not make a new recommendation (You must get past the moderation period first) - this stops a lot of the SHILL Posting (Fake new member accounts posting fake recommendations). The moderation period is only 5 days (and you need to have a MINIMUM of 5 posts). As for "Negative" info... it's not permitted on cerb. Yes, when we get complaints on EC with no proof that the photos are fake we run them through stuff like tineye.com and also ask them point blank if that is true and at that time let them know that they will not get a refund if they are caught using fake photos and give them ONE chance to correct this. If we remove the ad they loose the money they paid for the ad and to get a new ad back on they must supply a verification photo. That is why EC does not have all the bait and switch sites on it. EC could make MUCH More money allowing them (But integrity and reputation is far more valuable). Any advertising you do in any high traffic place is effective in some way. It may be branding or may be hit traffic... on cerb it's also a way to support the site. If your placing free ads on the site and enjoying the features of the site the banners are a way to show support and keep the site going and improving. EC and LE pretty much cover all the costs of cerb.ca (Servers, bandwidth, my salary and a few extra's when needed) any revenue from the banners is ADDED to the budget for extra's so every bit counts.... and yes the guys click the banners. Those little side 120x60 static banners seam to be doing very well (Much better than the top banners). I don't want to do what many of the other discussion sites do (Charge the ladies to purchase advertising to use the site) we want the ladies to use the site for free and we think the more ladies who use cerb.ca the more guys will visit the site and the traffic will trickle over to LE and EC (And it does very well so far - enough that our budget is covered here on cerb as the traffic remains high enough to justify the expense). These sites do take a LOT of money to run and maintain. I really should push the banner advertising but I don't. I am not a sales man and I don't want people to think I am pressuring them into buying ads. I would rather see the ladies buy ads on escorts-canada as they will get a much higher ROI on the page ads on EC than the banners on cerb (ROI = Return on investment) as escorts-canada has WAY more traffic than cerb does.... but if you love cerb and want to support the site the banners are here to show your support.
