Yes, we are overdue. Just hard to find the time to do it. Sorry I am overloaded with work right now and am having a hard time even finding time to moderate the site. We have hired a new guy to take on some of my workload (outside of cerb) but I have to train him (and as we all know training someone new takes more time than doing the job yourself at first) I do apologize for not posting it yet. I really am trying to find more time but to be honest cerb is burning me right out these days and my moderating is lacking too. Thankfully lots of our members are helping me out with this buy flagging posts to get my attention. I will post the nomination thread now since it is the first of the month. Money exchange upfront would help avoid such things I suspect. Stating upfront like Ava does is a good idea for your own safety as well. Thankfully it does not happen a lot but in the past some SP's have been robbed (guy asks for change and when you pull your purse out to make change the guy snatches and runs). If you say "Sorry I don't keep any money here to make change for you" (or better yet state it on your website like Ava does) that would remove a lot of the risk I suspect and anyone looking to rob a provider this way may think twice after reading that as well.

I can't buy a hot dog cart and set up shop in front of my neighbors house on the sidewalk or in front of the mickie'd's down the road for that matter!! Why? The reason is you need a license to operate a business here in Canada and restrictions are in place as to where you can operate this business! Why should streetwalkers be allowed to set up shop in these places??? We have laws to protect property owners and business owners. Don't let the body rub parlors and "escort" licenses fool you (These DO NOT make the act of prostitution in a in-call location legal) If they "Decriminalize" it the cities will set up ZONING for this as it becomes a legal business like other business's in that city. They can limit the number of available licenses (Like cabs have) they can make the zoning very restrictive (Like most cities do for strip clubs) and they can enforce criminal background checks and all sorts of license fee's that are often abused (Look at Hamiltons strip club by-laws if you want to see a example of this - per dancer licenses of 250.00/yr with criminal check, huge manager license fee's, huge operating license fee's and zoning restrictions and much more!!) Bottom line: Decriminalization means the city can charge a license fee based on your "legal" business and tell you where (or where you can not) operate withing that city. Licenses and zoning protect property value and protects other business's. It helps keep things civil for everyone. No one should have the right to just open up a business of ANY KIND in front of my house or business without getting a proper license!! I MOST certainly don't want a vendor selling anything in front of my house or business. I checked the zoning in my neighborhood before I purchased a house. If the zoning is changing (Like it does when someone applies to have a area rezoned) a public hearing is put in order and I can have my say as to why I agree or not agree with the zoning and the city will make a vote on the changes (This is the way it is done here in Canada - other countries do not have these laws but we do and I like these laws as it protects my property!). No property owner (Business or residential) wants street level prostitution in front of their home or business... that is just a fact we must all accept. Cry foul as much as you want it will not change the public opinion of this activity. With the current loop holes in the laws the police are really not able to do much to stop it. I must agree with Annessa here! I do not beleive this is good advise from Tulsa either as most of the ladies who advertise here (from my understanding) do not work this way as it is indeed frowned upon. Most of the guys will stay far away from the ladies with the "Base price + extra cost per service" pricing (AKA UPSELL) It's often something pushed on the ladies from bad agents and pimps as a way to UPSELL the customers once you lure them in. (I am not saying this is the case with Tulsa - I have no idea as I know nothing about her but whoever she learned this from may have given her bad advise and she now assumes this is the way others operate) This upsell pricing is common practice with the more unscrupulous individuates in this business so please do not assume this is common or the normal way to work the business. The base rate + extra's approach lures in a customer with a LOW advertised rate and told upon arrival "if you want this service you need to tip $$$ to have it" is just deceitful unless the lady IN ADVANCE OF THE MEETING tells you the base rate and the menu prices so you can make a choice in advance. In this case Tulsa is telling you she does operate this way so she is NOT being deceitful about this and is obviously open to negotiating rates based on services offered but to assume other ladies would be this willing to negotiate is very wrong.

If this is a USA based hosting company this would be the reason as "Escorts" in the USA are illegal except a handful of legal brothels. Also in many states a law exists making it illegal to "promote prostitution" meaning any newspaper or media that advertises a escort is breaking the law. They would not care about laws in different countries and would most likely be oblivious to the fact that escorting is very much legal in Canada as most of the world still have no clue that it is legal here.

Shared IP's are fine. The only time we look at the IP is if.... 1) We suspect a shill based on some other reason, if the IP matches we see if it's a static or dynamic ip. If it's a static IP where only those two people have used it... we pretty much have our answer with very little doubt 2) When someone keeps making multiple accounts after being banned (We just look up the IP and ban it from the server 3) When someone is reported as being dangerous (Bad Date, Bad SP, etc..) 4) When a public computer (Internet cafe or hotel lobby computer) may be the cause for the multiple account warnings. We do not use the IP to identify multiple accounts. We have a very advanced system in place that does some "Special" stuff (I can not explain how it works as people could find ways to circumvent the detection system) Basically it uses a hacker trick in a non malicious way to acquire some "Computer specific" information about the members computer. If the member logs in under a different name using the same computer the exact same info is pulled and it will have a 100% match and announce the warning. Things to know. 1) This system is 100% accurate. If it gives us a warning those two accounts have been accessed on cerb using the very same EXACT computer - it does not make a mistake. (Not possible) 2) Internet Cafe's and public computers in hotel lobbies cause the system to display warnings but we have a list of IP address's for many of these locations that we have compiled over the years. If someone tells us that they accessed cerb on one of these computers we still close the account if it looks suspicious BUT we record the IP as a possible public computer and over time we find out the truth. 3) In no way does this system pull personal information that could compromise your security or identify who you are. It can only identify your computer (and the identity is stored as a checksum encryption key value - tech terms for safe and encrypted data that looks like complete gibberish!). 4) Some computers prevent the system from acquiring this info so as accurate as this system is it does not catch 100% of the people! ... but it catches at least 90% and does a very good job at that.

Elite status comes over time. You do not sign up for it. Long term members with high post counts have elite status. Yes, it would show that your account and his account logged in using the same computer (as a cell phone or PDA is also a computer) if it can access the Internet it has a ip adds and some sort of login ability so the system will track both accounts on that device.
