I was speaking to the moderator on perb a few weeks ago and sent him CK's blog link and letting him know how much it helps everyone in Ottawa. Every city could use a CK!

We allow the reference CL but links to CL and someone promoting using CL as a place to find providers is not permitted. You are getting "Promoting CL" mixed up with "discussing a lady who advertises on CL" I would prefer NO mention of CL on the site (Not even a reference as CL) but that would not be wise to do. I don't want to send someone who does not know better to CL. If a newbie comes on cerb and someone points them to CL and his first experience is being bait and switched, scammed, robbed, etc... it would just made a bad impression on our industry. CL is the WORST place for scams, bait and switch, Cons, Etc... It is free and un-moderated so it's a open invite for anyone to abuse. So... Promoting the usage of CL is NOT permitted. You guys in Winnipeg already have it rough as Winnipeg is the WORST place in Canada for bait and switch ads. Winnipeg has more of a problem with this than Toronto so it's shocking that you guys even use CL!! You would think that with all the problems you all have already in Winnipeg that you would not want to ADD to it!

CL is bad.. it's free and not moderated. It's full of scams, cons and shit loads of bait and switch as the ads are FREE so they are abused ALL THE TIME. We DO NOT want anyone promoting CL as a good place on CERB. We want to warn people to STAY AWAY from it. CL is NOT welcome as a place to promote on cerb. FREE ads DOES NOT MEAN good ads!! ANYONE PROMOTING CL ON CERB WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE.

I do agree with you on that one. Maybe not the spam part but the rest for sure.... That is a pet peeve of mine as well (AND I GET LOTS OF THOSE!!!)

This is just encouraging people to use CL... Really we want to do the opposite and discourage people from using that site.

Did you just assume he was asking for your info? Think your being very paranoid... To me this PM is asking you to send "Contact info" for a lady you posted about. He is a new member so he obviously does not know how the site works yet. I think he thought that when he asked you this you would somehow know what post he was PMing you about. I suspect that you most likely posted some info about a lady and said PM me for more info or something along those lines. Try replying back to him and asking him what contact info he was asking for as he failed to mention any details in the PM. Your assuming he is asking for info about you. Cap has always been a little ROUGH around the edges ;) but he means well.. just needs a reminder every once in a while for the potty mouth.

Chances are if they are suspended but have good recommendations they were not suspended for bait and switch or other things you would need to concern yourself with but still always do your homework. They could be suspended for.... 1) Not following the posting rules and being warned a number of times (Usually 3+ times before they get a suspension - sometimes a suspension is the only way to make a repeat offender know I am serious and to read the rules). 2) Fighting with other members on the public board 3) Spamming by PM or on Guestbook posts 4) Threats to other members etc... (Stuff like that)...

You didn't say the "C" word so your not getting the boot but comments like that wont make you popular with the ladies! No one believes this guy right?? First time poster, first post is trying to discredit a well known lady here on cerb and he says "I had a bit of a disagreement over the amount owing for services" .... Really... a BIT of a disagreement eh?! LOL... Sounds like you ripped her off and she is calling your house line cause your probably not answering your cell phone or emails! TIP: When you center justify the text, make it smaller/bold/italic you make it harder to read (It may look pretty but it will be ignored by many). You will get a better response just typing normally as at first glance your question looks more like a advertisement. You have to word it and make it look like a question.

They have been suspended from cerb. The guy who runs TOG only does legit ladies but apparently the guy running ottawa asian chose to undermine them and put up fake photos on CL (and the good cowboy caught them) so they have been suspended. The swear the photos are real now but only time will tell.

Good idea (Group hug) and since this thread has gone so off topic due to a offensive word being used I think it's time to move on. - Close thread. I sure don't want the word used here (along with any other words that are offensive and used to hurt people). The way this thread has taken a huge turn is a perfect example why we will not allow such things here. I am proud that Canadian's do not use that word.

Comments I am receiving from MEN and WOMEN are... Long time member or not - This language in reference to any woman is hateful and scary. can't even begin to say how nasty that comment is... FYI: I do not moderate the SP ONLY area as the ladies do this themselves and if something needs my attention (or a need for me to intervene exists) I will step in one one or more of the ladies brings the problem to my attention... and only if no other option exists. I do not read all the threads posted in that section. Some BAD dates listed in that area obviously give out personal information (Phone numbers, emails, IP's, etc..) but if you have done nothing wrong you do not have anything to worry about - this section is for the ladies own protection and they treat the area very well and surprisingly get along very well with each other! (I was concerned that we would have a lot of cat fights but that is far from the case) The ladies do not use the area to gossip about you guys. Referring clients to SP's is actually illegal in Canada so the ladies can not post such things as a "Good clients list" or a "referral list" (I can't allow such a thing legally and such a thing would break a certain expected level of trust) But... if you guys pull no-shows, treat a lady bad, hurt her purposely (Physically or mentally), are rude, drunk/intoxicated, etc... your info will be posted in this section as all "confidentiality" you had with that lady you blew when you wasted her time, ripped her off or assaulted her. Now... if your on the bad date list for anything significant chances are your not a member here. If you are the ladies don't know your membership name here on cerb or they would have you removed. If... one of the ladies reports you for something the other ladies will often comment (Stuff like "Yes, he did that to me too" or "I have not had a problem with him"). Bottom line... the ladies who know you will jump in and save your ass. (This has happened in the past).

as wnrsntzl mentioned it is on HBO Canada and if you have rogers digital cable you will probably find the Cathouse show in the ON DEMAND area as well. I have it. I have seen a few episodes (I don't watch it regularly as really it's the same thing each week) but I am shocked that guys allow them to be filmed in the place - often taking part in fetishes and sex acts. The ladies seam to generally be happy and have fun. One of the ladies made over a million dollars for the year working here. It's interesting to see how the place is operated and how they cut the commissions and do negotiations. Also the ladies seam to have a lot of fun with each other in the off hours (reminds me of when I managed the gentlemans clubs - lol).

I just suspended the account roughrider1 as he/she has two accounts now. The other is under BarefaxAva This is a obvious SHILL account as after reviewing the account posts he/she seams to be promoting barefax, Ava and a lady named Dion. If this is not a SHILL account for Ava he should not have opened this account for her using his email address and his own computer and IP address. Having two accounts is enough to have both accounts suspended SHILL or NOT but when all you do is promote a single service or place (or lady) constantly and than go do something like open another account with her name... I must assume your shilling. and the obvious... every time I catch someone doing this they tell me "I was just helping her set up an account on cerb". This could be true but in this case it was very obvious what was going on. I suspect this was in fact Ava posting as one of the guys and finally decided to make her own account. (Just a guess). If I am right Ava should know that she would have promoted herself MUCH better here if she was upfront at first and make an account for herself first instead of trying to pretend to be one of the guys. If I am wrong than this friend of hers who is promoting her is actually doing more harm than good.

At first I thought it was a shill but I am not 100% sure right now and after further research I do not beleive that clarky1 is a shill poster. I think he was more likely fooled by the fake photos, given a lady that was similar enough to the photo to be bamboozled and honestly had a good time. (This does happen) ... but rest assured the next guy who asks for the same lady will most likely get whoever is available at that time!!! So we could not allow this posted in the recommendation. Originally I suspended clarky1 but I have re-instated his account and sent a PM explaining this and a link to this thread. clarky1, asian agencies all over Canada are known for bait and switch (Fake stolen photos used on the sites) - VERY FEW have real photos and those who do have a uphill battle due to the overwhelming number of BAD APPLES. God I hate stereotypes and I hate it even more when they are so hard to avoid like this. I feel horrible that the non-bait&switch Asian agencies have to live with this problem. It's not fair to those who wish to be legit. I am sure Ottawa would welcome a legit asian agency with open arms.

I merged them, I think I merged them backwards as it keeps the one with the photo as the TOP post when merging. but all the content should be here still... the merge recommendation system is not perfect so guys please do search first to see if someone has already started one for the lady.
