Well.. I would disagree with that. It's incredibly desirable to me as I could moderate cerb very easily from anywhere (and it sucks on my PDA)... I hate booting up the laptop and trying to find a comfortable spot to sit with it. The Iphone software was actually originally written as a tablet software but the technology was not ready yet (Battery life, processor, hard drive/memory, 3g speed, etc...) so they shrunk it and made it into a phone OS and that was the best thing they could do as all the applications were developed for it! The technology is here now (I agree in 2 years it will probably be a dinosaur but someone like apple had to do this to kick off the era!) This is ONLY the beginning and I do think this will change how we use computers and in the future this will replace laptops! As things get smaller and faster and batteried last longer... this will be it. A phone screen is just not big enough (Not even the iphone) and you can use this as a phone if you want! It's high speed so voip will work with it I am sure. Believe or not... this is the future of computers right here. Windows7 even has lots of development in it for mutli-touch applications - everyone knows this is the way things are going and this is just the beginning. I contacted my Mac rep today and asked to be on the waiting list as I want to have one with the first order.

Ok, I have received a few reports that some ladies (or possibly agencies) are using the PM system to send UNSOLICITED pm's to drum up business. For example today we received this one. Ladies... this is NOT acceptable! If someone emails you asking questions about your services that is fine but randomly PMing guys ... this is SPAM advertising and is NOT permitted here.Guy's... Use the icon on the PM's if you receive one of these (Top right corner of every PM). If we get multiple complaints from the same lady doing this we will suspend her account and explain why it is not acceptable to market this way. Same with posts on the site. If you see something that violates the rules here just click the icon on the post to bring this to my attention. Thanks.

Yikes was I wrong... For some reason I thought it was much closer! Still 123 killometers According to google maps but still... who visiting Whistler for the games would not want to visit Vancouver too (Especially if local whistler ladies can not be found easily?).

So, the Olympic winter 2010 games are coming to Whistler and Vancouver next month! Who is going to work the event?? FYI: For those planning on going you should know that apparently the roads leading into Whistler are blocked and you require proof that you work, have residence or hotel accommodations in Whistler in order to drive into town. What does this mean for the ladies? Well, unless they have a hotel booking in Whistler for the games you will probably only be able to get one now in Vancouver... but... the good news is Whistler is what 20 minutes away (Actually as Frosty pointed out to me it's more like 1.5 hours away - I thought it was MUCH closer but still... who visiting Whistler for the games will not want to come see Vancouver too) and the guys can travel freely back and forth between Whistler and Vancouver to see you. The advertisements on www.escorts-canada.com and www.localescorts.ca are climbing every day with more advertisers planning to cash in on this huge event ... so much that a local Whistler agency is now writing LE and EC letters as they are concerned that the ladies advertising in Whistler are not actually available in Whistler during the games (Many of the ladies probably have hotel reservations already and the rest are hopping that the guys will drive the 20 minutes into Vancouver to see them) either way it's not really a concern for us but it should be a concern for this agency as they will loose business (and I don't think they realize this yet). The touring ladies will scoop all the business from her if she is not advertising everywhere they are as a LOCAL option. I am sure other local Whistler providers are concerned with this as well as none of them have really ever had to venture online to find advertising but for those who do not... they may very well loose out and miss out on a HUGE opportunity to put Whistler on the map as a entertainment destination for local providers but this gives all the touring ladies a huge opportunity to cash in! Don't underestimate the Olympics! Many thousands of people will flock to the games and with ticket prices well into the 1000's per seat!!! It attracts a lot of people with very deep pockets from all over the world (including many business men). Our traffic is now spiking on both EC and LE in Vancouver and Whistler and I am sure it's guys looking to book entertainment for the games (Planning a trip and making sure they book someone in advance). I am sure the traffic on cerb will also spike as guys from all over the world look for available entertainment. Most of the world knows prostitution is legal in Canada (I think more people outside of Canada know this than inside Canada) so I would suspect the games will bring lots of people looking to indulge in "other" Canadian spots (Bedroom Olympics).

The more you screen your callers the less this happens. In the past when I asked the ladies some questions (Ladies who were complaining about no-shows in Ottawa and other cities) I got some disturbing answers. Most did NOT take the proper steps to verify clients (and this is not only for NO SHOWS but also to keep you SAFE as well). Some ladies still take bookings from payphones, email only contacts and even PM's... Ladies you NEED a phone number that you can call to verify. Questions to ask yourself as a SP.. 1) Do you call back your clients to confirm the phone number is legit and to confirm the appointment (Many said no) 2) Do you keep a log of people who has no-showed in the past and compare phone numbers, emails, names, etc... and black list them (Many said yes but still some said no) 3) Do you check the SP ONLY area to see if the email/name/phone number matches with someone else who had the same problem. (You should all try to gain access to the SP ONLY area if you do not have access 4) Do you get references from other SP's? (This is starting to become much more popular) 5) When I client no-shows do you call or email them to ask why? If you all work together in the SP ONLY area you would all have a LOT LESS no-shows but you have to confirm the phone numbers by calling back the number to verify it is a real active number (Call display is not fool proof - you can Spoof it meaning you can make the call display show a false/fake number).

You need to know the difference between a review and a recommendation. A big part of this is: Are you being INSULTING, HURTFUL, SLANDEROUS or RUDE? When posting a recommendation if your mentioning what she did not do and what she did that others will not like... well your really writing a review (not much of a recommendation) - in fact you probably should not have written one in the first place so it would be removed. ASK YOURSELF: If the lady reads your so called "Recommendation" and is hurt, feels insulted, feels like your slandering her business, or thinks your just being an ass... it will not be allowed here. eagle70: You did not write a recommendation you wrote a REVIEW and it focused on a lot of the "negative" stuff! You received the infraction because your so called "Recommendation" was horrible! It was negative and it looked like you were trying to warn everyone about the lady and not really recommending her. Saying "I enjoyed the time but...." and giving a list of all the stuff she did not do and for some reason you wanted to tell people about her stretch marks and how she was not thin ... really? What lady would feel good about a recommendation like that? Your so called recommendation would do more harm for her than good so your better off just not saying anything at all. She would have probably been in tears reading it and if you think that this is how you should "recommend" someone you are on the WRONG site!! The lady would have been very MAD at you for posting what you did and she would have been mad at cerb for allowing it. Doesn't make a very SP FRIENDLY board with stuff like that! I don't read every word posted on this site... so I do rely on other people to FLAG posts that are negative, hurtful, slanderous and rude. Some stuff slips by and if you find it you should flag it. Yes, I told you to stop bothering me... you kept sending me PM's like you wanted to fight with me (like a mad scolded school boy crying foul). You wanted a exact list of things you could and could not say (after I explained to you that you can not be rude, insulting, hurtful or slanderous). You felt it was you god given right to say these things here and should not be told that this was not permitted. I explained that if the lady logged in and viewed this post of yours would she would have been upset and mad at you and us for allowing it. You continued to PM me so yes, I told you to stop wasting my time!! It worked as you stopped wasting my time.. well until you posted this whining about it again (now in public). Maybe you don't get it - and some people don't. Cerb is not for everyone! If you are incapable of posting a recommendation without being hurtful, slanderous, insulting, or rude... your feeling is correct (You would not be a welcome poster here). If you understand what you did wrong now (I don't think you do as you are still whining about it - now in public) post a recommendation without complaining, being rude, being insulting, being slanderous or hurtful you (and your nice post) will be very welcome here ... if this is the case as you have learned your lesson. Only time will tell and you will either be allowed to post it next time (or) you will be asked to leave and really feel unwelcome if that is the case.

I will see if another option exists for allow the high bandwidth phones to switch back and forth. As for the phone not being detected... I have no idea but I suspect that the system must know what to look for. It probably has all the major wireless providers set up in the detection and you may be on something it does not know.

Is your version Blue or Red? If it's RED your seeing the full bandwidth version that home PC users see... if your seeing the Blue version it's the stripped down (Low Bandwidth) mobile version.

This is not highschool and if I feel we have some people who can not grasp that... you get the boot! (and since I have size 13 feet... it's a BIG BOOT) We did this last year with the removal of a number of members (including one particular SP and one long term member who was a chat mod) who could not help themselves and felt gossip was what this site was for. I will do it again as it makes us better every time we remove the bad apples. Ladies: Spreading rumors about other ladies WILL NOT be tolerated we know some ladies do this to make themselves look better and some even thing this is a good way to knock out the competition. If you are caught doing this on cerb (even in a PM or private chat room) you will get the boot. This is unethical and slanderous in most cases! Guy's if you gossip to other SP's about another SP you too will be excused from the site if it is brought to my attention.

ONE PHOTO? I gave you 4 different photos that are confirmed fakes from 4 different ladies... then I gave up checking the rest. FAKE! Tell the agency owner to go onto cerb.ca and read this thread! Let him/her know that he/she is being held accountable and his/her choice to bait and switch all of the Barrie customers! Maybe this will give them the push to smarten up!? From experience if they use ONE fake photo that is enough to show that they do not have any business ethics! Any reputable agency would NOT bait and switch it's customers. This is NOT acceptable ANYWHERE and it damages the reputation of all the legit ladies when they do this. Imaging some guy having his first SP experience.. he sees a photo and says "YES! That is the lady for me"... reads some info about her and gets excited only to be completely disappointed! He would expect that this is normal and would loose faith in any ladies photo being accurate! It could turn him away from the business all together! I say... if they use even one fake photo they should be boycotted!!! Until they come clean and start showing some integrity. :|

It's too bad as our head office is in Barrie and we could help promote the local ladies very well. Barrie is a fairly large city now (for a Canadian city) so I am not sure why the the ladies are not advertising on the internet more. The yelloPages are expensive and very picky with regards to ad content and the local classifieds are the only real other alternative here so you would think that they would just be dying for some better exposure options.

Keep in mind FS clubs are illegal (Considered common bawdy houses) so if you disclose them here you will most certainly have them raided... also for those who do not know this... it would be illegal to also give directions (or information on how to find) these said clubs to someone. Discussing them in general is fine but to reveal or share the location is not.

I would hate to think that someone would assume I would not be willing to do this. I would for sure but I would also hate for someone to question where exactly the money was sent to. I just think with all the "already established" places that would accept donations it would be best to use those resources. If we ever did a drive for say one of the ladies who was injured (heaven forbid) or anything directly needing assistance here in Canada for our industry I would volunteer in a heart beat to collect donations as we do have a P.O box already.

Lots of places to donate! No need to send it to me but I do appreciate the trust you have in me to do such a thing! ... lots of places will take debit and cc's as well. I would not be able to do that for this (at least not at this time). I would encourages everyone to donate who has some extra cash. It makes you feel good and man they really got hit hard so they sure need help. I wish I could jump on a plane and go down myself and help first hand. I am sure MANY places have a PayPal donate button and some may even have a certapay/INTERAC system set up for donations. If not somewhere near you I am sure is a location you can drop off donations. CL is moderated by excessive flagging by the viewers - it's a very flawed system as NO ONE is accountable. So expect a lot of the crap to be just slanderous remarks from other bad people. It's just a cesspool and unfortunately the decent good ladies just get slandered in many cities from competition posing as bad reviewers. This is not a new thing... maybe in Winnipeg but it happens all over craigs list. The BAD ladies and PIMPS will try to wipe out the good competition by making them look REALLY bad. Anyone good who has ethics doesn't stand a chance once this starts as many people just beleive what they read. The problem is the reviews could be true (Genuine) but who knows!? Who do you beleive in a situation like that? It's much easier to slander someone on CL then on a real review board as the review board members are often long time members making them more credible and more accountable. Chances are they are FAKE reviews and probably shills.
