Q: My photos show correctly on my PC/MAC & SMARTPHONE/TABLET but when I upload them to lyla.com they turn sideways?? A: Actually they are not sideways at all ... how that works is that newer cameras and smart phones have sensors that tell it what way is up when taking a photo.... so when you take the photo with the camera turned sideways or upside down the image is actually is stored sideways or upside down but the camera stores the orientation of the camera in what is known as the meta data of the image. Your PC reads the EXIF metadata and displays the photo based on the orientation given in the meta data. The lyla.com website does not have the ability to read and rotate images based on the meta data (Our photo system was made years before this technology came out) so your image would show here the way it is RAW from your camera image as the website does not read each photos meta data (So it displays the way it would be printed). You can UPLOAD the photos to your classified ad and rotate them.

I have been fighting with the server. We are trying to figure out what is causing the problems. Its a trial and error process as The problems are intermitent.

In Ontario 10 charges under new Criminal Code have been made for pimping and 4 charges have been made in ontario for advertising the sale of sexual services. none of the charges in ontario are "purchase of sexual services" but thats ontario.... Saskatoon has been going after guys and i am not sure how many charges and not sure about other provinces.

The decision and vote was already made, the council could reconsider with anotehr vote but at this time pleaseupdate your profile as at this time it will still become public.

I (the moderator) was asked if I would allow this to be posted here. I posted it on the persons behalf.

IMPORTANT: In 30 days we are changing the PRIVATE PROFILE abilities. Council has decided to REMOVE that feature as it is being abused so ALL profiles will before PUBLICLY VIEWED. No bad apples can hide behind private profiles this way. Unfortunately those of you who use this feature to hide from stalkers and such will loose the ability. Because of this we are not making the change instantly instead we are giving everyone a 30 day notice.

The option to block just one person from a profile does not exist, the council has actually been discussing private profiles and are considering removing that feature all together as it seams to be being abused. The ladies use the profiles to help screen the guys (see what they have posted in the past) so when a guy blocks his profile it makes many of the ladies suspicious. When a lady blocks her profile it makes it hard for the guys to see as well (making this a frustrating on both sides). Not sure yet if the council will get rid of it all together but from the looks of it that may be the best choice.

I have let Jess know that if her photos turn out to be fake (reported to me as a first hand experience with her) she will be banned for life from here. Just so everyone knows, if you show up and her photos are fake just turn around and leave and let us know. Don't "SETTLE" and give anyone money for time if you are bait and switched. If this happens enough they will stop or leave the business.

The issue is not only if the guy asks for sexual services.... it is also if the lady OFFERS a sexual service and the guy agree's. It is legal to hire a "Escort" (someone who is paid to spend time with) it could be a escort to a social event, a escort to a high school reunion, a dinner date, or just someone to cuddle up and watch a movie with... it is also as far as I know legal to offer private exotic dance, stag dancers, private lingeria shows etc...

We were just TOOO busy for that when prepping the site for the new law. We gave everyone a fair chance to update the ads before we started to delete them. If you missed some sexual offering, hint or something that crossed the line the ad was removed. We just had too many to fix. You can re-post if your ad was removed as long as you are not offering any sexual service. IF YOU DO NOT ADVERTISE A SEXUAL SERVICES or EVEN HINT or TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE RULE then you will NOT get a INFRACTION OR BAN. It's really simple! If you try to advertise a sexual service you will get SUSPENDED for 30 days MINIMUM. WITHOUT WARNING! If you are not sure if what you want to advertise will get you in trouble here the answer is YES IT WILL so DO NOT ADVERTISE IT! If you even REMOTELY QUESTION IT then your chancing being suspended. DO NOT FOLLOW WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING EITHER. Remember we do not reed every post or ad, we are only made aware of rule breaking posts/ads when they are flagged for us to review.
