How do you feel about licensing? Does it enhance safety for women? A: No, it does nothing for the safety of the women. In fact it pushes them more underground and in some cities it puts them in the hands of a pimp! The police and cities abuse this power to harass and scare the ladies and force them to work in even more unsafe conditions! It is illegal for the city to license prostitution (and they know this) so they define the term "Escort" as a person who is a paid companion. This forces anyone who uses the word "Escort" in their advertising and marketing to obtain a license to use this term (or face a nasty ticket not to mention fake bookings by police or by-laws officials set them up to ticket them). This is harassment without a doubt. What other legal profession has to face issues like this and have their rights taken away from them unjustly? Everyone knows that a "Escort" is a nicer way to say prostitute and helps distinguish the difference between a street walker and a more exclusive courtesan. They are all "Sex workers" and just because the city defines the word "Escort" in a by-law does not make it any less a sex worker job. By charging a license fee the city becomes the "Pimp" and is living off the avails of prostitution (This is illegal under the criminal code of Canada). The license terms in many cities by-laws does not allow for SEX to take place on the call (?? - covering their own ass) all the license does is restrict the lady from doing her job and allows the local law enforcement to harass her easily as they can pass out by-law tickets a lot easier than charging someone under the criminal code. The by-law gives the city (and the police) the power to hand out municipal by-law tickets to people who are NOT breaking any laws under the criminal code of Canada. Many of these by-law charges are being disputed (It is the right of the individual to be able to appeal the by-law ticket in a actual court of law with a real justice of the peace who will look out for that individuates rights) the judges are seeing first hand that these ladies are prostitutes and not "Escorts" by the cities definition and these by-law tickets are being thrown out left and right. If the lady says "I am a prostitute" in her advertising (or a "Sex worker" or anything that distinguishes here as a sex trade worker the judge will throw out the ticket as the licensing is not for sex workers it is for escorts and companions who do not have sex for money... and well we all know they may as well license unicorns while they are at it as both things do not exist!). The cities continue to push these by-law tickets because many of the ladies are uneducated in regards to the law, many will pay the ticket (making the business less profitable and therefore less desirable) and some will even get scared and leave town (Often without disputing the ticket as facing a real judge and admitting to being a "Prostitute" is scary for a lady who knows nothing of the law except for what she has heard and seen on TV - and since most of our TV is American content and they have laws against prostitution many of the ladies get scared that they will go to jail over stuff like this!). Many of the ladies also do not know the difference between a by-law infraction and a criminal charge (With the help of sites like cerb.ca this is slowly changing). We explain that a by-law ticket is not a criminal charge, it has no permanent record, no jail time. If you refuse to pay the ticket they will send a collection agency after you! (Same as a parking ticket) and you may not be "Allowed" to purchase a license to be a "Escort" if you don't pay your fine. When the police show up, take all the ladies info, tell her that she has been caught breaking a "Law" and then issue the lady a ticket (sometimes worth 1000's of dollars) the ladies panic, they don't realize they have not actually been charged under a criminal code offense. They run out and warn their friends in the business and this makes the by-law a very good scare tactic for the police and the cities. This even makes some of the ladies leave town and go to cities without by-laws (We know that many cities have these by-laws and enforce them like this just for this purpose - they do not want prostitutes working in their cities). Bottom line is... Prostitution is legal in Canada but the cities put these by-laws in place to force the legally working escorts out of the city and in some cases to profit off the ladies. Some cities force the escorts to work for a "Agency" to obtain a individual license. How can this even be allowed to happen? The cities are not fooling anyone... we all know that a "Escort" is a "prostitute"... you will NEVER find a "Escort" in Canada who does not offer sexual services as part of the "date". For a city to define the word "escort" in a by-law is abusing their rights. A city is not legally allowed to make a by-law because of MORAL reasons. They are not permitted to unjustly remove a person's right to legally do their job... and they are NOT allowed to license prostitution under the current criminal code of Canada. When you get a city council that is anti-prostitution (Usually morally pro-church) you get cities with ridiculous by-laws like this. Most of the ladies think these by-laws are put in place so the city can make money from them... personally I beleive these by-laws are put up to force the ladies to leave town so that the city can rid itself of what the council feels is a morally wrong profession.

I was told that too about Dasani, from what I hear is the water they use to make coke products. This however could be myth I have never bothered to look it up myself but for sure it is not spring water. I was told that they use osmosis to purify it and then add minerals to it so that it always tastes the exact same (So that it does not alter the taste of the coke product). Proves that a fancy bottle and unique taste sells almost anything.

We don't like Bait and switch ads - they damage the integrity of all online advertising for this industry. I would hope that you read this an learn how damaging it is to your business and maybe rethink your marketing.

Tap water in most area's tastes like ass. It's not too bad here in Barrie (but I still prefer bottled water) I can imagine bottled water is very popular in Ottawa. I remember on my last visit to Ottawa I was thirsty at like 4am so I tried the tap water (EWE! - It was BAD) so I headed for the vending machine (they only had dasani water - and I actually do not like that either but still better then the tap water!!) ... the vending machine in the hotel ate my only toonie so I had to go back to trying to drink the tap water ... it was unbearable! I let it run for a good 10 minutes and it was still GROSS but it was cold enough by than it was tolerable. Maybe it was old pipes as the hotel was an old apartment building turned into hotel suites but it was nasty water! P.S. The air in chip bags is in fact put their to keep the chips from crushing and most companies use nitrogen (This also helps to keep the chips fresh tasting). The chips are sold by weight (not the size of the bag) everyone knows by now that the bag will be 1/2 full but every bad should have the advertised weight. I personally would be pissed off to get a bad of crumbs.

Some INSIDER information I can share on this topic ... We have had M4M ads on escorts-canada that do alright (meaning the guy made enough calls from the ads that he continued to renew the account). We actually have NEVER had a M4F (Straight Male Escort) renew an ad (Ever). We have had M4C ads renew (Male for couples / Bi-Sexual) but unless the advertiser is at least bi-sexual they would be wasting their money. A number of the ladies advertise they are available for females and couples and I don't think you could make a living off it but I am sure it brings business. TV/Shemale ads do well also. Most of the TV/Shemale ads get excellent traffic (sometimes more than the ladies ads do) and they almost always renew.

It seams PK is trying to run the agency as legitimate as possible... and that is hard! It would really incriminate the agency if they supplied a in-call location (even lending her money for the room) also the agency owner would be limited to what he/she could tell you in a public forum or even on the phone. I have said it before and here it is again... Agencies are suppose to work for the ladies, they are not suppose to "hire" the ladies, they are not suppose to "tell the ladies how to work" or "tell the ladies when to work" as this would be controlling them (pimping them). The agency can not supply a location for the ladies to work "this would be a common bawdy house" and pimping (BIG NO NO). To run the agency as "legitimately" as possible the agency really can't do anything more than what a paid receptionist would do. The Agency.... places ads for the ladies (marketing) answers the phone for the ladies (Reception) screens calls for the ladies (Reception) usually markets the ladies on a website Books a driver (Reception) Confirms appointments (Reception) Calls to confirm end of call (Reception / security) Knows where and when the lady does calls (security) Even if this is all the agency is doing they can still be charged with Living off the Avails of prostitution but it's very hard for the crown (prosecutor) to make this charge stick if they can not prove without doubt that the agency was controlling the ladies. If the agent is not controlling the ladies and is really just doing marketing and reception work (the stuff the ladies do not want to do themselves) than the police really would have no reason to go after them unless some complaints were logged as they want the pimps (The guys who take all the money, abusive, drugs, etc..). If the agency is supplying a room (even a hotel room) they are crossing a line and would than be drawing unwanted attention to themselves.

Your not exactly asking a question here but I will give you the answer since you don't realize on your own why you can't do this. It is set up this way to prevent abuse. Someone could open a fake account, build the fake account up and increase the other accounts reputation levels (unethically). A free-for-all system has no merit and is useless but I would have thought that this would be common sense. Why would you not just PM me and ask why it is this way instead of posting like this? Your post comes off as demanding (bad attitude). Next time you don't like the way we do something here how about asking us why first (by PM) - if you take the time to ask in a PM we will take the time to reply.

If you have met with her and can not recommend her based on your experience than please tell people what you have met with her and to contact you by PM for info. Yup, you got scammed! Sorry to hear you fell for it. CL is FULL OF SCAMS! If someone asks you for your credit card information to get "VERIFIED" or for any other reason you are being SCAMMED! - I am moving this to the Bait and Switch / Scam alert area - a little more research and you would see we have MANY warnings about this here.

We tried it... it just makes the chat room less popular and pisses off the regulars who like to stay logged in. If you see someone lurking in the chat and not saying anything... ask them why.... and if you get no response have some fun and "vote to kick" them out. We want the chat room to be enjoyable and the auto boot feature is making it less enjoyable for some. At least we gave it a shot.
