Those 8inch Aspires are sure handy. My laptop has a 17 inch monitor and it's a PIG to haul around with me... and I beleive that tablet pc's (mix between hand held pda / phone / laptop / touchscreen / voice recognition / etc... is what we will eventually get to. High speed voip/internet/laptop/etc... all in one (affordable easy to use) package is the next logical step if the battery can last and the power can be made available. The iphone and google phone etc... along with the aspire's and small laptops (and tablets already on the market) and the small batteries with lots of power are all available... we are just waitting for the low voltage cpu's with loads of power (and I think we will see that soon enough).

Size of a person's body really does not seam to be a problem with anyone. Sure it could be but I think it would be a very rare occurrence. Really only hygiene is the real issue. If you show up looking like a bum (or worse - smelling like you never shower) you will get refused. Now, a number of ladies have also said they do not like guys with ED. We don't support the Opera browser. Just IE, FireFox, Safari and google's Chrome. Opera is a scaled down browser and many sites will not work correctly with it.

I was going to run this every 4 months but in May no one nominated anyone (Guess I should have just deleted the thread).. So we will do it twice a year (every 6 months) so come July 1st to 13th we will nominate and july 14th to 30 we will vote. That would be great but the chat software currently does not have any ability like this unfortunately. I put in a suggestion months ago to the software company that makes the chat software we use, The request was to create a plug in with a "welcome message" so we can display a welcome here are the rules note with each log in... hopefully they eventually make this mod for us (and others I am sure who use the chat software have asked for it).

Just scroll down and you will find a box that says -- STANDARD WIDTH (Change this to legacy 800 pixels wide) this will fix it for you until you get a better monitor ;0)

I have not tried mephis myself. Good to hear from someone who has had a good experience with it. It's Debian based (Like Ubuntu) and I think it even uses the Ubuntu packages and repositories does it not? I have heard good things about the support team as well (that they keep it up to date). Kano (Kanotix) is a good choice for people who has hardware errors as it's full of specialty drivers and advanced hardware detection so yes, it would probably be a good choice for a stubborn Toshiba laptop! I use firefox and I don't have a authorization error so because I can not recreate this error I can't help you fix it. Maybe someone else has a tip for you? If I leave the room without logging out I do get an authorization error if I try to go back in right away. I need to wait (up to 2 minutes) before the chat system clears me (this is because live streams are sometimes interrupted so it does not log you out instantly, it gives your internet connection a chance to re-establish the stream before logging you out). If you use the LOG OUT button to leave you can come right back in. As for changing it from 5 minutes to 10 minutes... let's see how the 5 minutes goes. You can always log back in if you take longer than 5 minutes to smoke or pee. Yes, of course. It would be virtually FREE to run a chat without audio and video streaming... but the live video and audio is the selling feature (to get the guys into the room and to give the ladies another marketing tool)... and it works for the ladies who use it! The other discussion boards have chat rooms too usually.. they are DEAD most of the time. This site is unique and has potential to be very popular because of this... this is what the guys want! Hi Candi, the site uses "Cookies" to keep you logged in. You may have adjusted your security settings on your browser and inadvertently turned off the cookies settings (or increased your security level so high that your computer will not accept cookies). It seams the lurkers really bother some of you. I still don't understand why... guys obviously come into chat wanting to talk to the ladies or see what the room is all about... they probably lurk cause they don't care to chat with other male members and are just checking in to see if one of their favorite ladies drops by. Yes, of course you can run flexible by using a percentage rather than a fixed pixel but than you have no control so it's a general rule to not do this. Only very specific circumstances does this work well. I sure agree with you! I thought the resolution was going to be the main complaint (Side scrolling) but mostly people don't like the wider reading areas so I think once we get the space for the banners in this will help fix that by pushing the reading area over. I need to find someone who is really good with vbulletin themes and get them to add this. The guy we had doing this is M.I.A. I think what we are leaning to is to put the banners on the right side, keep the reading panes the same width as they are in the legacy layout (or close to it) and that way if anyone has a side scroll issue the only thing they are missing our on are the banners as they would be off the page). May go with a 195x60 now instead of the 120x120 as most people prefer the more narrow reading area's. Thank you all for the feedback! As you can see it will all be taken into consideration for the final layout for sure. I can't really help the guys with the 13 inch monitors but if we make the reading area's smaller you can use a good zoom tool for those little screens.

I made a slight adjustment that I think will fix the side scrolling for IE Cumquat. Let me know if that fixed it for you?

Any reason you don't increase your screen resolution antlerman? Sounds like you have a very low resolution setting. Do you have one of those old crt tube 13 inch monitors? ;) (I am kidding of course but then again I did see one in use back in December still so I gave the person an old 19inch crt I was going to take to the recyclers so it is possible). They had some server load issues, we are trying to fix them but when too many people start using the photo albums it really effects the servers performance. You can still view them in the ladies profiles and as soon as we find out how to optimize the rest we will put it back on.

Also.. Can you give us some details as to why you liked the form width the way it was before? (Example. Does the new format not fit on your screen? If so, any reason why you do not increase your screen resolution? Older computer maybe? Small laptop screen?) Any feedback you can give us will help. The reason why we are doing this is so that we could add some space for advertisers to purchase small 120x60 and 120x120 banners later this year (Just planning ahead now). The banners we currently offer are a hard sell and at this time are the only income revenue for the site. Banner sales help add new features like the chat room and photo galleries to cerb. We are hoping that some sponsorship spaces would be more attractive and would allow us to expand cerb further (and better for everyone). Would you prefer a legacy skin to view the site?
