Unfortunately this world has many people who like to put down other people to make them feel better about themselves. This happens in the discussion boards all the time and is a big reason why we do not allow any negative comments here. When I see someone like that I just boot them, they are not welcome here and are just a sad waste of space. You need thick skin to survive in a business like this. People will judge you from your outside in and some abusive people will prey on anything that may break you. It can be a very shallow business but it can also be very rewarding if you can shrug off the jerks. The guy making the intentionally hurtful comments (or the girl pretending to be the guy who may see you as competition) probably has a lot deeper issues and your just the person to pick on for the day to make them feel better about themselves. It really is even more pathetic since the person is hiding behind that anonymity of a email and a alias.

Actually in Canada as long as you are not in a public place you can openly discuss sex for money. Some ladies prefer not to and some don't realize that it is perfectly legal for them to do this. You can also discuss particulars about sex for money in private but if you discuss this in a hotel lobby, a hallway, a public coffee shop, etc.. your in deep trouble! If however you work in a brothel (including a massage spa or even a stripclub that allows sexual acts) it than becomes risky to discuss sexual acts with people even in private as the acts are not illegal but working in a brother is very much illegal - and you are admitting to breaking the law. Prostitution in Canada is legal (I know some of you don't beleive this but are too lazy to go read the law and learn this for yourself - the internet is your friend spend a few hours and do some homework)! What is not legal is solicitation (discussing sex in a public place) - the internet is not considered a "Place" so it is not illegal to discuss sex acts online. A magazine or print ad is also not a "place" so you can make ads explicit for services if the medium would allow you to BUT if your breaking the law by working in a brothel, underage, pimping, etc.. than your discussion in private is still bad as it's evidence that you are breaking the law. So... if the lady does incalls (Even is she is the only one working from that location) she probably will not discuss details. The law tends to ignore the ladies who work privately in residential area's but are very interested to know about commercial places such as spa's, stripclubs and actual brothels. Let's face it, the lady working by herself in a incall location is more safe than doing an outcall so forcing them to do outcalls to keep it legal is not what that law was intended for. The law is againt pimps, brothels, streetwalkers, underage girls/guys and all the really bad stuff. Drugs is also a big thing they watch for and discussion of any kind involving drugs would bring unwanted attention.

The lady was right to be upset with you. The term GFE does NOT imply any services. It is a style of service. You did not ASK for a BBBJ you assumed that GFE included this (and you were WRONG). You owe this lady a big apology and money! Most people here would agree that leaving and taking the money you agreed to pay her for the time was very wrong and since it was a mistake on your part you should repay her for her time or you are stealing from her. I would suspect your number and name to show up in the bad date lists because of this. This is unacceptable.

The only reference you can make about CL is CL If you try to circumvent the sensors on cerb you will be given a infraction or removed from the site. WE DO NOT want to send people to that site as it has TOO MANY scams and BAIT AND SWITCH and is not to be trusted. -
Yes and No, the image is a backup but it's a snapshot of your entire drive. You would run this off a CD like you would your windows install cd. A regular backup can not access the running locked system files... so you copy a image program onto a cd and boot your computer using the CD (It would boot to a basic dos and do the image from that state so it can copy all the programs - since you are not booting into windows no files would be in use so nothing is locked). Now, with the image it would probably be a non-browsable single file. So this is a good backup but not a good migration choice as you would not be able to use the drive image with your new version of windows7. If the drive image program lets you make a exact copy (not a image but a file/folder bit for bit copy - also called a mirror) this would be good for you. Make sure you external drive is as big as your computers drive and mirror your hardrive to the backup. Than install the new os and all your files will still be available on the backup (and accessible).

You would think it would be fairly easy but it's all about market share and linux just is not big enough (and most linux people are all about free open source software so a 1000.00 program is a hard sell for most users). Now not having a 64 bit version on the mac? Now that would be a mistake for both apple and adobe.

GIMP is CLUNKY but for the price you can't complain (It's FREE and comes with most distro's now). It if fine for doing web based photos but anything that requires off-set press (CMYK) your S.O.L (Shit outa luck) as GIMP is only RGB. Also photoshop has some really kick ass features that speed up your work flow (especially when editing backgrounds and stuff out of photos). GIMP is WAY BETTER (Leaps and bounds better) over Microsoft paint (that comes bundled with windows) in fact I think GIMP is better or equal to many photo editing programs... you just can't compare it to photoshop at this time however as it's more like a bad immitation but with loads of potential. The good news you don't have to dish out 1000.00usd for a copy!! The MSRP on CS4 is 999.99USD! You can't do professional graphic design with GIMP but you can do web design graphics very well so for most of us here it would work just fine. I think photoshop will run stable on linux before we see GIMP comparable to photoshop.

Is it possible to get a SP's kitty shot?
mod replied to Edca1's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
I was actually just going to delete this thread when the original question was answered but I think instead I will move it to the NEWBIE section and close it. I think the point is very clear (and was exactly what I expected when I left it on the board in the first place). -
You do need a webserver locally (for the debugger) I suspect any webserver with php installed should work. You can run php under IIs in the windows server environment - that should work. If your using Apache/php on the server it would probably be a good idea to have that as your local environment. I think you can also set it up to use a remote server (but maybe someone with more experience with phped could answer these questions). I really don't do much php stuff (hacking at it with a black book in front of me using a simple text editor if about as far as I go with it).

I am just waiting for adobe to come around and release a linux version of photoshop. It does not look like they will do this any time soon but Google sunk a pile of cash into wine/codeweavers just to focus on getting photoshop to work on linux. You can run photoshop CS2 on linux under wine/crossoverlinux now and it's ok but it still is not 100% stable and will freeze and crash without warning. Thankfully it runs amazing on the mac but adobe is not releasing a 64 bit version of CS4 for the MAC (Some issue with the way OSX manages itself). I can only dream of 64 bit photoshop back on a unix platform (where it belongs). The good old days with photoshop3 running on unix is very missed by many.

Alice as in the 3D modeling language?

This is beyond Techie stuff Angela, php/perl/cold fusion/etc... are all computer programming languages. Being a techie and programming code come hand in hand for many but they really are worlds apart. This is the stuff that makes websites interactive (mostly database driven sites like this one where you store loads of data and the scripts pull the data and allow you to display it or interact with it in some way). Many computer languages exist but the ones we are talking about here are mainly for writting software for internet applications. Obviously it can be a lot more involved but that is the basic root of what this is all about.

I agree with Eclipse Recommendation, I am not a php guy but most of the php coders I know use Eclipse now. I use a very basic perl editor from dzsoft to edit any code in the windows enviroment, it has line numbering and bookmarks but that is about it. They have a php version (but I have never tried it) NuSphere is also a popular one.

I installed virtualbox the other day and I must say... I agree.

With a laptop a ghost image may be your best bet... (or) buy a external hard drive (USB2.0) and use it to backup your files. Just copy the entire drive image off your laptop onto your external hard drive.
-
If your really worried just go buy another hard drive (they are cheap now a days). Install the current boot drive as the slave drive and do a fresh install. Than migrate your files from the old drive to the new drive. If you ever need back into the original windows 7 beta install. turn the computer off, swap the drives around (or easier just unplug the c drive and have the bios boot to the other drive) and away you go. You can probably use a boot loaded are have the option to boot into either system. Another option... You can use ghost14 to ghost the windows7 install and restore it to another computer as a exact image. You will have problems with drivers (especially on a laptop) as the drivers on the ghost image will be from your desktop machine. I would suspect you would probably be able to insert the windows7 beta disk and run the "repair" on the laptop once you instal the ghost to it hopefully you could get in enough to remove the desktop drivers in the device manager and install the proper drivers for the laptop. I would give it a try.

Welcome to the world of linux. Easy isn't it? It's very similar to a MAC and unix systems like this run so much more stable. Enjoy - Tell your friends, install it for your fiends... the more people using it the better As for the Beta... I don't think anyone with the Beta of windows7 should feel ripped off. Beta versions are not FREE operating systems. They are test versions and not meant as a full time OS. It would be nice if they had a migration tool but since it is beta and only released for testing purposes this is an added expense to them that they really don't need and no one should expect this. Companies release the BETA programs so that you report problems to them so they can work out the bugs they don't find before they sell the product. When you downloaded it you agreed to be a beta tester. Really it's for developers and people who enjoy beta testing software. The company says... here is a preview of what we are working on, feel free to download it and let us know if you find any bugs. Once the bugs are worked out a stable version will be available for you to download and install. We all know you have to pay for windows OS so expecting a beta to last forever on a non open source project to be upgradable is really expecting way to much. Sure, some do not expire but they never run stable until the final release is out so your Beta copy will always have some bugs. If you had have read the info on the download site I am sure it mentioned the time out dates upfront as well and the terms of testing the beta. If microsoft did not make this expire than computer stores would be selling computers already with windows7 installed on them (they can not do this legally and if they do it illegally when the software expires the computer store would have a lot of angry customers). Microsoft is a software company and the main software they sell is windows so they would have no intention of giving away free copies of a working OS. Linux however (such as the ubuntu distro) is a open source OS (Free - no strings). It is not 100% compatible with windows software but it's free and distro's like ubuntu are VERY user friendly these days. I am running it right now myself - I love it. If I could get photoshop to run stable on linux I would drop both MAC and PC platforms. Programs such as openoffice are also free (not 100% compatible but very close to it) they do have beta versions for the open source software and since they do not SELL this stuff those beta version are free.

How do I look at the ladies photos?
mod replied to rst17's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
Each lady who places photo would have her photos show on her profile. if you click on her name a menu will appear with a link to her profile. Everyone has a profile page (Here is yours http://cerb.ca/vbulletin/member.php?u=24071) If you wish to just browse all the photos you use the "ALL ALBUMS" link under the quick links menu up top. Here is a direct link: http://cerb.ca/vbulletin/all_albums.php -
Nobody said anything negative about Dani, I just don't want people thinking this is a review board.

Dancers get barred from clubs all the time - it's the same as being fired from your job and not welcome back cause you pissed the wrong person off. Depending on what club it could be drugs, doing tricks in the parking lot (or in the club), fighting with staff, fighting with other ladies, drunken rampages, etc... you name it... it happens in the clubs. This is where a lot of the stereotypes come from. It's a SMALL amount of the dancers who conduct themselves poorly like this but like any industry you always have a few bad apples and the clubs (like any business) must fire them. If you frequent the clubs you know they are like any other business except your adding alcohol to the mix so things tend to get a little crazy at times. You could have the nicest lady you ever met and after 4 or 5 drinks she is picking a fight with the Dj, the doorman, the waitress and the other dancers all a the same time. (Trust me it happens!). As a former gentleman's club manager (Many years ago - but I am sure not a lot has changed in this regard)... it happens! I have had to bar my fair share of dancers. Never cross one of the beautiful Montreal dancers! They are gorgeous but can tear a real nasty strip off a person when provoked! ;)

Hi Sasa, you have been caught on CL posting fake photos by CowboyKenny (http://cowboysdiary.blogspot.com/2009/03/bang-bros-bootay.html) here is your chance to come clean and explain why you did this. Posting fake photos in ads damages the reputation of all escorts. It makes the guys loose faith in the integrity of the photos that all the ladies post. This is not fair for everyone and we do not like that here. I will give you a chance to explain yourself and come clean. If you use real photos and you wish to verify your photos with me (the moderator of the site) you can PM me and I will explain how to do this. We can NOT allow you to post advertisements on cerb if you are using fake photos or false information as this is considered bait and switch. I will need to move your post to the bait and switch area and ban you from this website if you do not reply and show that you wish to restore your reputation (you only get one chance here to do this - and some of the members think that is one chance to many but I like to think everyone has some good in them so prove me right!).

Hi Dysondan, Reviews are not permitted on cerb. If someone wishes to recommend the lady to you they can and tell you about all the good points but we do not like reviews here as they are often insulting and negative. If someone has something negative that they feel they must share with you they will PM you but please do not ask for reviews (just in case someone doesn't know the rules here and posts a review as a reply).
