May I suggest that before you send any porn or toys, you might want to check where they are and the laws of the land. Many magazines which are perfectly acceptable here are against the law in other places. In most of the countries in the middle east, Maxim and Cosmo are considered pornography. Don't go by what you may have seen available when you are over there, the laws are very different for foreigners in most of those places and and a serviceman with illegal material will cause international incidents far above what a tourist would do. Not many places on this planet provide the same level of rights and freedoms we take for granted here in North America.

On a similar note, I got a call from Sears last night informing me that the factory warranty on a power tool which was bought for me as a gift 3 years ago was expiring and would I like to purchase a Sears extended warranty. While I'm not opposed to, and actually enjoy some extended foreplay, at the end of the day (or hour), I'm all about an unrestrained, full out sprint to the finish. I think there are a couple of factors at play here. I do think some ladies do not advertise a service that they may routinely provide on a YMMV basis so they are not obligated when the client is as clean as they might like. They might also not want to risk inimity from other ladies who do not provide this service. I saw this effect on the west coast with respect to BBBJs.If any lady advertised this service, or a client said he recieved it on anyone of the boards. They would both be castigated and may even be blacklisted by all the other members. There is no penalty and it doesn't matter what the police think. A judge will think that here is a person who excercised his right to remain silent. Even if you are completely inocent and you are being questioned as a witness. If you are alone with an interrogator, the best thing you can do is clam up. This is different than being a witness at the scene where timely information is helpful. If you are being detained for questioning, you are now a person of interest and you have the right to not say anything.

Cat makes some very good points. For a good agency to get a ROI, they need to be able to attract and retain those SPs which bring in the money. A brothel, if it wasn't subject to siezure by the government is an opportunity to do so. Facilities at such an establishment can be way more than an independant could provide on her own, not that there won't be a market for indies. The New Zealand/Australia model does provide for this. The current prohibition against bawdy houses does not encourage investment in the infrastructure. Should that law eventually be struck down, the situation will not improve unless some way is found to stop municipalities from abusing them like they do strip clubs, or even nightclubs and other licensed establishments.

This thread reminds of an old program on TV many years ago called "This is the Law". Actors would act out a skit ending in the arrest of one of the principals and a panel would try to guess which obscure law was broken. Kyra, You've shown me this quote before on another thread with a similar theme. In a perfect world, every pet owner would be reponsible and spay/neuter their pets and not turn them loose on public property when they tire of them. Veterinary charges would be reasonable. Large estates would be put aside at no cost to the public so that pets/livestock that are abandoned could live out their lives in peace. And, oh yeah, cougars, wolf packs and grizzily bears would walk among us peacefully and keep the deer population in check by humanely kiling them with a single blow. Coyotes would keep rodents in check and leave our cats and pet poodles be. And finally we are able to respect our fellow man and tolerate their beliefs and cultures, none of which confilct the values and customs of others. Newsflash, it's not gonna happen. Anbandoned animals turn feral, predators aren't picky, overpopulation results in disease, starvation and mass die offs. There are cultures out there for which our way of life is an anathema to their existence. Even within our society, predators prey on our weaker members. Its great that there are those among us who hold to higher ideals and our society needs them. But, perhaps once in while they could quit looking down their self righteous noses at those who do the dirty work so they can maintain their sanitary idealistic existence. rickoshadows
