  1. I believe teenage girls are capable of organizing something like this, but the customers would mostly be adults, no? This is something I've always wondered about. Wouldn't a customer know when he's with someone who's been coerced? When someone has to be beaten and threatened into doing something, it seems to me that it would be obvious that she doesn't want to do it. I always wonder what kind of customers these sexual slavery ops get. I'm pretty sure they're a whole different species from the kind that I and my fellow independents see! Any person who knowingly uses the services of a sexual slave or coerced person should be charged just the same as the person(s) operating the ring.
  2. I'll never get tired of Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant, Raymond Massey, Peter Lorre & Priscilla Lane.
  3. "As god is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly." Arthur Carlson, WKRP. (Spending a leisurely Sunday afternoon in the tub drinking moonshine and watching WKRP in Cincinnati episodes on YouTube!)
  4. Ah, but so much for my sexy dreams in which penises can wiggle like long tongues! I've woken up in many a puddle over that one!
  5. Our two cats are curvaceous! Both females, both fixed and both Daddy's L'il Darlin's. That's the problem at our house. Our cats don't beg, they insist. And he's only too happy to kowtow to their every little demand. They have a bowl of dried out at all times. Plus they each get a quarter can of food each evening. Plus they get a "cut" of anything we eat. Plus he always keeps a little something in the fridge for impromptu treats (chicken, meatballs, cheese, etc.). And the younger one insists on sharing my milk with me every morning. Which is just delightful. She kills mice. She eats dead flies. She licks her ass. And then she sticks her tongue in my milk! I love them, but really my husband is too much of a suck. I thought he was bad with the dogs!
  6. Once a blackmailer, always a blackmailer. Whenever he wants anything an SP isn't comfortable with, my guess is, he'll resort to blackmail. Pleasant fellow!
  7. You wouldn't believe how many BASE jumpers grew up with moms who used to say this to them!
  8. Geez, I feel so guilty! I really, really need to update my pics on EC! I'm no longer a blonde!!! But in general, yes, I think EC is one of the most legit sites around. It also offers the best value and customer service to the advertisers, IMHO.
  9. Yep, that was pretty much what I was thinking. Hobbyists mingle here, but everybody here has a pseudonym chosen just for here. It's not the same thing as playing publicly with your email address. Perhaps some are doing so knowledgeably, but probably best just to avoid any accidents.
  10. Isn't it funny how everybody obsesses about the end of the world, and never just the end of our species? It's like when I was jumping, and there was a weekend that, for whatever reason, I couldn't go to the drop zone. I'll confess that, in some little squeaky black corner of my heart, I was wishing it would rain and be socked in all weekend. IKR? That's so small. But somehow, when it was crappy all weekend the weekend I couldn't make it, it somehow made my missing it easier to take. Maybe, as a species, we're like that too. If we can't go on, dammit, we want the whole freaking planet and everything on it blown to hell. How rude it would be if it all just went on without us, and the traces of our colossal choices faded quickly from view!
  11. I love attention to my feet, but I'm not exactly in Ottawa. And you'd probably want to bring friends. They's BIG feet! Party sized! ;) (Also available for stomping out forest fires!)
  12. Not sure who said this, but it works for me! "If he's not bright enough to find my rates and other info on my site, then he's not bright enough to use my services."
  13. Thank you, BackRubMan, but that wasn't exactly what I was asking. I'm not so much concerned about my personal and business contacts seeing each other. I understand that I can keep business contacts contained within a circle (... I think...). But wouldn't everyone in that circle be able to see who else is a member of the circle? I'm not sure if the people adding me just don't care about that, or if maybe they aren't aware of it.
  14. I've had a couple people (clients and some who've written to request info) add me to their Google+. Admittedly, I'm slow-out-the-gate on all this social media stuff,... but ???? I have considered adding them back and I realize I can set up a circle just for people I know this way, but then wouldn't everyone in that circle be able to see everyone else? How does that impact privacy? Bear in mind that these are sometimes these people's regular email addresses that they use for everything (which, if I haven't already mentioned it, that's _really_ not a great idea guys; if you're gonna hobby, get a dedicated address just for that) and sometimes they even have their real names on them. I'm not at all concerned about my own privacy, but I always thought that defending the privacy of my customers was essential. Am I misunderstanding this somehow? I feel downright paralyzed. Comments? Suggestions? Scary anecdotes???
  15. BackRubMan, parasailing looks like a great way to spend an autumn afternoon. We have a guy who comes by here sometimes, looks like he's following the river. I just saw this video today of a tandem skydive gone wrong (but everybody lived). That tandem master deserves a medal for his handling of this one! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qtb3N7eqejM
  16. Oh, nice landing! Ugh!! Looks like they have a long way too go: too bulky, not very accurate, and the parachute idea is okay for emergencies, but obviously not a desirable landing strategy. I don't know why they didn't go with some sort of ram-air. ... Well, maybe because of the deployment parameters. This conical would probably have a significantly lower malfunction rate, but that oscillation is a killer! You've gotta start somewhere!
  17. There actually is an organization, Farmers & Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH.org) that gives game to charity. Unfortunately, I think they run into regulatory problems from time to time, which is a shame, because it's an excellent program. RG, that sounds delicious! We simply marinate our steaks in apple cider overnight, and maybe brush on some Diana Sweet's Sauce before grilling. It goes fast. Our favourite ground meat around here is pork, and I use that in most recipes, so the venison does contribute to a very different taste when I use it. Lately, I've been making up some meatballs for the doggies and kitties. I just toss a pound of ground bambi, a half cup of bread crumbs, an egg and a dollop of oil in the food processor, form the compound into 1" balls, and bake them on tin foil on a baking sheet at 400° for 10 minutes. The kids go wild for these! A bunch of 48 is gone in a couple days flat (I suspect someone is popping a couple into his mouth every time he gives the kids a treat). If I were to make them for us (and it's a temptation, but we're down to our last few packages of ground), I'd probably toss in some garlic and worcestershire sauce. Lee, where do you live? The most I've ever seen close together was maybe 3 or 4.
  18. Since moving out of town, we often receive fish or venison from neighbours who hunt and fish, but either end up with too much, or who don't like to eat what they catch. This works out great for us! Not only do we love eating it ourselves, but our doggies and kitties are absolutely wild about venison. Nothing goes to waste in this house! We would never want to put upon anyone for anything like this, but we have to wonder if there isn't a lot of venison and fish that ends up in the landfill after languishing in freezers for some time. How could we tactfully and respectfully let people know we'd be only too happy to take it off their hands, if it's just going to go to waste anyway? We're lucky to already have a couple neighbours who've offered.
  19. Great pic, Carrie! And those puppies were born to be free. ;)
  20. What makes me mad is, twice now, I've been on Facebook and got some screen that asked for permission to access my contacts, post as me, or whatever, and I did NOT give permission. And yet, it went ahead and did it anyway. WTF?? This just happened this week on some PicRate app. I did not give it permission and it started posting as me, asking people to click on my posting to help me win some contest I wasn't even in. I had to go into my privacy settings and delete the app to get it shut down. In the meantime, a couple of my friends made the same mistake. Grrrrr!
  21. Definitely you should do some market research to see what the range of rates is in your area. Another thing to consider is how much you need to make to achieve your goals. Then you need to look at how many appointments per week you would find reasonable to do, and which you can reasonably expect to get. Between these three factors, you will be able to determine the right rate for you, and also set a reasonable budget that will help you avoid problems. Best of luck!
  22. I tilt both ways. Call me kinky. I've never been able to rationalize the relevance of a kiss. But I accept it. I have met and even have regulars who reject kissing. I'm baffled by that. To me, if you're going to do this and nothing else, it seems like kissing would be first and foremost. It seems like the most arousing and sensuous thing. But maybe that's just me. I accept it when people don't want to kiss, but it does change the game for me.
  23. Most days around here, I'm content just to party with my husband, my kitties and our only remaining dog. But if someone wants to drop by for some fun, I'm up for that too! I take my fun where I can find it.
  24. No, I'm not that loyal to brand names. For one thing, brand names have a tendency to be sold-out to inferior manufacturers. That's the way the corporate world works these days. Once someone develops a reputation for quality, selling that reputation off to slap on inferior goods is viewed as more lucrative than reserving it for only those products meeting its standards. Sad, but true. As for independent SPs, I think we're very different. Our brand reputations aren't so easily transferable to others as in other industries. Our reputations are a bit more durable, I think.
