As a kid, I remember me and my sister always wanted to watch the hockey game with my father so, my mom made us a little platter of crackers, sliced pepperoni and cheese cubes. Always good! But we were so accustomed to our bedtime hour that by the start of second period, we were sleeping tight on the couch!

I agree with Cowboy Kenny and what is mentioned above. On the SP side, because of other obligations, I have been much more quiet in 2010 plus the fact that 2009 was a shitty year for me, I am less active on the hobbying side. But coming back to the recommendations, I take them with a grain of salt. Let me explain. You look at the recommendation section on CERB and there are many, many, many women that have recommendations. I look at that and I tell myself: they're all good! I am 'experienced' but a newbie that gets there, he's all confused and there is so much to read, he will get discouraged within an hour! And there are times for the ladies that will not be as good as other times, for whatever reason. So, a hobbiest might visit a lady that is well reviewed and that time, the service was sub-par; it happens. And there is always the fact that satisfaction is subjective based on each individual so, a great service for one might come as OK for another. It is a good tool for reference but it is not perfect. Plus the fact that there is no filtering of recommendations so many are outdated, some ladies have retired, etc... Just looking at the threads a lady posts gives a very good impression of their personality, their way of thinking, etc...

It is truly a very special place but unfortunately, not in a good sense for me. I have not been in about 3 years but from what I read above, nothing has changed! I wonder if the cover charge is still a buck? The funniest thing is not having a DJ; the lady finishes her dance when the song ends, then walks backstage to put a new song. But in the meanwhile, it's a dead silence in the place! When we went there, when the silence part started, my friends and I started a conversation about income tax, a documentary we saw on TV or any goofy subject of conversation. It was for fun!

Heard before that it was coming but just saw the headline on Yahoo News. Went to check and there it is: gone! But I agree with some members that some ads just kept repeating themselves every 20 minutes or so...

77.19 years. Even better than I thought. I always thought I would live to be 55 then, that's enough. So now, I can look forward to enjoying a few pension cheques! (If it still exist as we know it when I get there in the 2030's)

Unfortunately, I could not attend the Christmas party but here is my opinion on the issue on who pays what. The Christmas party was well-said to be a first and an experiment and it allowed people to learn; it was a learning curve. After that experience, it was noticed that one member had to ffot a part of the total bill. Which in my mind, indicates that the expected piggy bank was not full enough with the admission donations from the members. Therefore, I believe that after the Christmas party experience, it would be just normal to hike slightly the ticket price, let's say to $25. However, this hike can only best be decided by those who attended and noticed how many people there were, what was the ratio men to women, what are the food habits, etc... Based on these facts, I'm sure that an adequate figure will be able to be decided.

Her ad came back up on CL. No news has been posted from last post so, we never know. She is now under a new name (Melissa) and in her ad, she says her pics are real and have been taken this week. Well, they happen to be the same pics as last month. Fake pics? I don't know but why say you have pics taken this week when in fact they are from at least last month? Yes, they may be recent pics but it's the principle that must be obeyed, IMHO.

As mentioned above, the 30-minute notice makes sense. Even if the lady is available now, it will most likely take half-an-hour to get there. Unless you're calling from the lady's porch, in front of her door! LOL So, all is good and no time is lost.

I agree with what was said above: first week of December would be good. If it's too late in December, it's hard to get a place plus people have a million things to do and running around to get ready for the Holidays. However, doing it a weeknight would make a place easier to get as office parties are usually on Friday or Saturday evening. But weekday, many have to work the next day so, it won't finish in the wee hours of the morning for many. But great planning so far, it's getting together.

The Hilltop is a very-well known FS strip club. But there are others in the vicinity of Montreal. I don't know of any directly in Montreal.

I believe the Brooke mentioned here is visiting. She does post a lot everyday on CL but she has only been here since Thanksgiving (Oct. 11). I was also intrigued by her photo, as she looks very, very much like a woman I know. But one of her photos shows a pierced belly button so, I know she's not the woman I know!

I'm interested in attending. Count me in.

When I was young, I was terrified of the dark because of all the weird noises that can be heard at night. Fortunately, it has gone away. But to this day, I am afraid of bees, bumblebees and wasps. Probably because of the fear of being stung. Plus the sound it makes when they're flying near your head is not a soothing sound; it's more of a threatening sound.

Personally, being of a perfectionist nature, I am picky about spelling and grammar. I hate reading ads or posts filled with mistakes. Nobody's perfect so, there might be a mistake here and there but when there are 3 mistakes per 10 words, not a good average in my books. Might be typing typos but same thing to me; proofchecking takes 15 seconds. Another thing that I hate to read is for ads when letters are changed to numbers. Very confusing at times...

At the fundamental level, we are all humans: men and women. A woman who works as an SP does not lose this aspect at all; she is still human. And it is part of human nature to establish relationships involving feelings. It is part of the core that epitomizes everyone, and it is normal to have opinions about people that involve certain feelings: some feelings can be very nice and some others not too nice. And yes, attraction and respect are part of these feelings. Likewise for men. We can be as well attracted to some ladies and less attracted with others. Same here, opinions related to feelings are made up in our mind and we can appreciate beautiful qualities and virtues that are reflected when meeting with women.

Only reason that would make me quit is if there is this special lady that pops into my life, out of the blue, and that it becomes serious to the point that a relationship emerges out of it. If she is that special to me to accept to commit to a relationship, then for me it's a question of respect to give my all to this one lady. Otherwise, I'll be hobbying once in a while as I am doing right now, for whenever...

Good one! But I can understand that some people might be in a state of shock! And I was even wondering at first and really got caught up in the story.

Personally, it rarely happened to me. Back in the days when CERB was not existing, the Ottawa Sun and/or the Quest chatline were very popular means of classified. It did happen that I set an appointment and got to the place but, phoning from a nearby pre-arranged payphone, no answer. That happened a few times. More recently, a very-well respected member of CERB and I set up an appointment to meet at her place. I got there, and pressing the buzzer, a guy answers! I just left. But the nice thing is that she E-mailed me back saying she fell sick and thoroughly apologized for the situation. That was alright with me as it shows class and respect. And I did see her afterwards and it was a great time for both of us!

From the poll results just above, be in the 'single, never married, category and it never causes a problem! You go at the ATM and do a withdrawal and you make calls from your cellphone (no landline since I'm single and barely home). Whenever I receive the statement, I am never surprised. I guess being single have some advantages...

Personally, I don't mind at all if there are women in the audience. More often, they are with friends or some couples enjoying the show. I remember one particular time at BareFax (a couple of years ago), there were more women than men in the crowd! It just startled me when I was there but after a few hours, it has come back to a mostly male crowd.

When I was a SC regular, I used to go there alone all the time. It was to relax and often (seriously), I didn't want the girls to come sit with me; I wanted to be alone to unwind from stressful work. Usually, what I did, if I wanted company, i would sit at a table. If i wanted to be left alone, I would sit along the stage. Most girls are respectful but there are always some ladies that think they are the queens of the world.
