Well for a wimp you sure picked a challenging one to cut your teeth on, I guess it's go big or stay home.

Saw a reference for this on twitter today. Following is a link to a justice survey on the need for new sex laws in Canada, and I think we should all encourage a many people with similar views to fill it out. http://justice.gc.ca/eng/cons/curr-cours/proscons-conspros/index.html

Assessing the pro sand cons is always a positive, but in the end you make a decision. Of importance though is that you have confidence in your judgement, and can move on and be comfortable whether you have all he facts or are 100% sure. If you are presented by new information you can always revisit the issue. -
Over the last number of years I've seen a lot of this world. Since the risk varies immensely from country to country, start with relatively safe destinations. You have to realize that you're a guest and must observe the local laws and customs. If you do get into trouble I'm sure that you will get consular services, but you have to understand their limitations. There are many ways to mitigate risk, good advance research, possibly going with a group or a tour, having proper insurance, and letting people know your plans, and you should always try to be unobtrusive. There are so many wonderful experiences to be had out there, take a chance, we only go around once.

There is always a risk of disclosing personal information. Once disclosed it's out of your hands, so it's really important that you understand what you're comfortable with giving out. You live with the consequences. I personally am not too concerned with identifying myself, but still use a email and phone dedicated to this pursuit. On rare occasions I have given out my personal phone number.

Congratulations, I became a first time grandad about eight months ago. We'll have to compare notes next time we get together.

Buddy just dropped dead

Sorry to hear about your buddy and sympathize with his widow. I fully agree with your advice. I'm north of sixty five and still look forward to getting out and getting the exercise shoveling the drive. But I have had the stress test, eat sensibly and watch my blood pressure and cholesterol. I've just finished having a new will written, and agree it really is so important for those who have to pick up the pieces. It is really important to look at it now and then and keep it current. I also believe when you are doing it that you make sure you get good professional legal advice. In my case I had to reassign my executor as I had left a real real night mare in my earlier one. -
I've got a Z10 and I would agree that it's well worth the time it takes to do the upgrade. With the latest release 10.2.1.537 I was able to quite easily install an Android app without the need to do a side load.

Well I sent in the fee today. I would encourage all you other gentlemen to do likewise as it is one less thing for them to deal with once they reach their quota. -
Mr Harper and our Vets
Boomer replied to mrrnice2's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Well said. This prime minister and his government are off side with so many issues of concern to the average citizen, hopefully he isn't able to gain another term. He was quite happy to send the troops off to some very dangerous missions and it's now time for him to ante up and care for them, may of whom are very damaged. You only have to witness the number of suicides among the returning Afghan vets to realize how serious an issue. As for Fantino, he has no idea what constitutes common curtsy, it was quite a picture of the older vets turned out smartly with their medals to face him, almost seems like he didn't have the spine to face them. -
For a number of reasons I have not made a serious attempt to find another partner so I have chosen to satisfy my intimate needs with paid companions after loosing my wife to cancer. It turns out to be a mixed bag, sometime good, but not always. I look back with some regrets, that maybe I didn't work harder at my relationship back then, in maintaining a good healthy sex life with her. As part of a relationship I believe with commitment and good communications that civilian sex should be quite enough as it's part of a larger package. Paid and civilian sex are quite different animals and I would like to point out that many of the ladies in this industry have real partners, and as such have a different level of intimacy with their partners which they don't show their clients.

Just booked a nice little get away to Toronto in February. It's a chance to take a few days to drool over all the new hardware at the International Auto show.

RANT: Come on people!

I know it's been said before, but get the flu shot. This has been a bad year for the flu in much of Canada and the US. I saw some stats and I think it's only about 40% of Canadians that get immunized, and the most often sited reason for not bothering is they think it's dangerous which is BS. -
PM Notification on Your Email...
Boomer replied to IsaMassage's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
This may be a possibility. I recently made a change to my email address on the user CP, and once I had confirmed it thru email verification, I got a message that my PM mailbox was full. Maybe if you've got several pages of PM's you might want to delete some of them as it may limit you getting more. -
was with a MA and came on the floor
Boomer replied to daddykhool's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Massage
A lot more than just the floors. CBC Marketplace did a show about the cleanliness of hotels in some of the larger chains, it's worth a look. http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/episodes/2013-2014/the-dirt-on-hotels-were-back -
Quitting a filthy habit/addiction

I tried many ways but in the end there was only one real way, have to have a very good reason, then it's cold turkey. For me it was bringing my son home from the maternity ward. Take one after you commit and you are a smoker again. -
You might want to go to the Ottawa section recommendations and do a search that category.

Question About Beards/Moustaches
Boomer replied to roamingguy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I've had one for thirty years. I would give it a month to give you a good indication as how it'll turn out. You'll still have to start trimming around the mouth and neck now to find out the shape you want. As for softness, it tends to get there as it gets a little longer. -
Sex for a provider and all women is and should be a matter of consent. I believe they have a legitimate right to decide who they will entertain. I think it doesn't take too much imagination to come up with some very legitimate reasons why they might adopt such a prohibition. No one should condone racial prejudice, but I don't see this as a place where human rights should take precedence. I believe I've have had women decide not to see me because of my age, but I don't cry discrimination. You accept these things and move on, probably wouldn't be a good date if she really doesn't want to see you anyway.

Geography can trigger those memories, but I think it's more fundamental than that. Pleasant and happy events, and maybe some not so happy ones can be triggered by all the senses, a scent remembered or a particular touch or sound may evoke a memory.

Don't be to hard on her. I have a daughter with a small child who is quite a distance away, and I'd be careful about what was said if I was to undergo surgery in case she felt obliged to came home to be with me. I think she knows that I would not lean on her unless the situation were critical.

Courtesan was a term that originated as a term for a lady that attended court in feudal times. They were generally well read and served as mistresses to the wealthy and influential. In today's terms they are escorts who try to cater to a wealthy client base, and would see themselves as upscale. As for hobbiest, that is a bit more difficult to define. For myself, I would use it to refer to anyone who indulges in this lifestyle, but not necessarily as a source of income.

Got into SLC about 1am this morning, and woke up this morning and got to see my six month old grandson Luke.
