  1. Well the day has arrived, early tomorrow off on another adventure, this time to New Zealand, Australia and Aubu Dhabi.
  2. Check the therapeutic section, it's become a quite active alternative.
  3. I've noticed something new on Craigs that I'm not sure is a new feature or not. Some of the ads are along with a picture, including a map. It doesn't have to be down to the street level, but if it shows the closest major intersection it's good enough. I think it's a great idea to be given a reasonable idea of the location of the provider, and might save a phone call.
  4. Look I'm I my sixties and I haven't found my age to be a barrier. In fact, I think you'll find your age to be an asset as I think many women prefer a little grey. WE aren't as rushed and are a little more considerate and attentive to our partners. I think it was one of the presidential debates where Regan demolished his opponent by commenting that he wouldn't hold his age against him. Good luck, just have fun and enjoy the opportunity.
  5. I have to agree that some of the ladies can be wary about calling back after some time has elapsed. It's always a good idea to give them some time limit to return the call. As an alternative, as they may be concerned that the call may at an in opportune time for you, tell them you'll ring back them back if they text that they are available to take the call.
  6. I will suggest an alternative. During my last trip I got a SIM card from Roam Mobility, a Vancouver company. If you have an unlocked cell, you get a US number and unlimited txt and calling in the US, and calls back to Canada for about $3 a day. You get the number permanently as long as you use it once a year. You can also get a WiFi hotspot from them and use the same SIM to get 2 gigs of data for another $2. You only buy the days you want and can add to it by text anytime. I found it to be a great option.
  7. The other problem is that you are still not considered a full member of the board until you have completed five posts. Some features may not yet be available to you. You are still classed as a moderated account.
  8. I think this is the time to book an RMT, and you will find the price all inclusive, no separate room charge. I have also had good luck at the Unicorn Spa on Merivale, can't recall the lady, but had a great massage there. No happy ending and not even hinted at or offered.
  9. There probably is a place today for texting. For instance if I've left a voice message and asked for a call back they may text back if it takes them an hour to answer, assuming it may not be discrete for me to answer. It can always be followed up with voice. If you've already made the appointment and are held up n traffic it makes great sense to send a simple txt. Also if you've seen someone a number of time txting can work very well. But, I also like to have a chat first as I think there's a lot conveyed in a conversation.
  10. This is a question for both the boys and girls. Saw something like this somewhere else. What food or drink do you avoid before having a date. Certain foods can make you gassy and affect the level of BO, your breath and the way you taste. What do you avoid so that you're at your best for your partner. Just as a starter, I don't drink coffee before a date as I think it's not the greatest if you want to engage in kissing kissing
  11. Boy that's a tough one. I guess it might influence your decision if you knew that she decided to do this of her own free will (and that's debatable if she's a minor). If she's being pimped or influenced by an adult then I don't think you have a choice but should indeed report it to the authorities. No one has a right to abuse children in this way. If you don't have enough confidence to let the police know then an anonymous call to one of the social agencies who are responsibility for youth welfare, who are charged with investigating and following through with child welfare issues.
  12. I've been in your shoes, and I think that you will obviously seek satisfaction. I would try to limit your stepping out as as previously stated, your wife will probably have an inkling about what you're up to. Take all the usual precautions to spare here the pain of finding out for sure. Also one thing you should keep in mind is the fact that at some time in the future you may get a real diagnosis and maybe treatment for her. If she does eventually get cured what would you do then, especially if you grow to become dependent on your hobby and have lost that nagging feeling of guilt.
  13. I am a big booster of the flu shot, having taken it for seven or eight years now. But, I also agree with the gist of Sarah's thesis, that you develop a robust immune system by a certain amount of exposure to germs. By all means wash your hands when it's appropriate, but I think the over reliance on sterilizing everything around you is foolish.
  14. Welcome, good to some international members.
  15. I am going to be going to New Zealand and Australia for several months, and am asking anyone that has information about the hobby down their to either respond here or PM if you like. I've been doing a few Google searches but haven't got much yet. What would be really good is to find a few sites like Cerb.
  16. Lazy winters day, put a blade roast in the slow cooker and will have a nice pot roast with potatoes, carrots, onions and parsnips. Always good for a few days.
  17. Not knowing about this business in particular, I would suggest there are two people you should be talking to. Since you are going to have multiple partners in the business you need to know how you're going to structure your agency. So at the very start you should sit down with a lawyer and an accountant. The later will give you a good idea on what works best in a business sense, and the former will advise you on the legalities and actually do the legal paperwork to register and setup the agency. Aside from all the other issues this gets you out on the right foot, and will protect each of you down the road.
  18. Good hearted pranking is fun, but you never know how people will react. I heard a great interview on CBC the other day discussing it. This was because of what had happened with nurses suicide following Aussie DJ's prank call to the hospital where Catherine was being treated. After listening to the recordings of the event I personally didn't think it was that bad, but some reality shows are starting to get a little bit over the top. I guess you have to be able to take the heat if it goes terribly wrong.
  19. Try looking for an add on to your browser called Tineye. This is pretty good at finding the pictures that used as fakes.
  20. I've lost both parents and my wife, and miss them terribly at this time of year. But it's time to remember and celebrate in their future generations. This year I'll be with our daughter and her extended family, and god willing with a grand child next year. This is how we pay them homage, in seeing them in their children and grand children.
  21. I went a little bit overboard an got myself a new laptop, with a touch screen and Windows 8. I justified it by telling myself that the old Vista machine was being a little bit cantankerous, and I do like my toys.
  22. Christmas morning it's been our usual practice to have sparkling wine with OJ while having brunch or opening gifts, think it's called a Mimosa. I don't usually spring for a Champagne because of cost and there are quite a number of reasonable sparkling wines from other than French producers. I tend to favour a good Cava from Spain or an Italian Prosecco.
