  1. I think Mr Nice covered most details very well. I have attended many of the Ottawa socials and will probably be at this one. I will make several additional comments. I wouldn't leave this one until September as the interest is current, and may wane if left too long. I believe the last one was $40, which I think is quite reasonable. A number of gentlemen donated gifts for the ladies, myself a $50 gift certificate for the Body Shop, and I think Mr N gave a bottle of wine. I think at the end of the day the committee needs to be small, maybe two or three. For the last couple it was necessary to register by email or PM and then pay the fee by a certain date, usually by an email transfer or in person before you were confirmed. The location was only transmitted to the confirmed attendees during the week prior to the event. I believe the biggest hurdle is that someone has to be willing to pull out a credit card to book the venue. There are a number of people here in Ottawa who have been a part of these and I am sure would be quite happy to offer advice privately. Lastly I would emphasis that this is a social, and if dress and behavior rules are observed then everyone can have a great time, and make some new friends
  2. I think the first thing you have to decide is if you're comfortable with posting your photos. If the answer is yes then it is an economic decision. If you want to generate more dates this is just one of the tools you can use to promote yourself.
  3. I have attended many of the Ottawa socials, and have met a number of the CERB members from the east at these events. If there is a Halifax social, I would definitely try to attend.
  4. There are a number of good suggestions here for dealing with this sort of behaviour. The problem with giving in the first time is that they have found success, and will repeat using this tactic. So, however hard, you have to break that cycle by simply telling them that you won't put up with it. Give them a taste of there own medicine, and hope you don't have a stale mate.
  5. I was rather lucky in that the company I worked with for many years offered a share purchase plan. I contributed 10% of my salary and they made a contribution. Once you start a regular savings program like this you don't miss the money when your pay comes in. Although not many companies offer this sort of vehicle, many will deduct for an RRSP or the like, and it's not missed after a while. Bottom line, many years down the line there's a nice nest egg.
  6. Like Mr Nice I am ready to take the winters off. Only problem, it's going to cost $1000 for new summer tires.
  7. Yesterday spent the afternoon getting some yardwork done. The only problem is I came in the house with a larger list than when I started. Need to replace a few fence posts.
  8. There is a location in the other information under the profile. If you check the about me tab you will see it there. It may be that some gentlemen are not filling it in.
  9. Just a few ideas. Bring along a bunch of large Ziplocs. Put my shampoo bottle in one as I once had the cap on one open and had quite a mess to clean up. Good for putting soiled undies and socks in. Got some new ID tags at Lee Valley that are made in a way that has your full identification but not visible. Never too sure whose hanging around the luggage carousel checking out whose left an empty house. Last, I like to stay in touch so I've started to carry a Playbook tablet ($199). They have great battery life and have great apps. Mine is equipped with a Kobo reader and some great games to keep me busy during the trip. With a Wifi connection they can be used to get your email or pull up a web site at coffee shops, airports, and hotels.
  10. It's about time. I've been leaving them at the cash register for some time. I was so happy after Timmies last increase, because the price finally came out to an even nickel.
  11. Agreed, this board has lots of resources for him to find what he wants, recos, ads, history, and search.
  12. Comes out at 11 pm. I am glad to see this finally, but it's not finished yet. It probably winds up in the Supreme court, but it does moves the goal posts.
  13. Viva la bush. I don't trim, but I suppose it may make sense if the growth is abnormally long. It's quite normal for both men and women to have hair around their private areas. I personally am quite comfortable with a woman who has a bush, in fact I think it's rather beautiful. One of my enduring memories is of a lady I saw in TO 30 odd years ago that had a beautiful black bush, but what was striking was the sight of the pink pussy peeping out. It's really a matter of staying healthy and practicing good hygiene. I suppose I can understand the ladies shaving, it's just a matter of easier maintenance. I wouldn't think of seeing a lady if I hadn't showered and cleaned up before a date.
  14. It wasn't quite what I expected when I opened the post. I was quite surprised by the product as I've browsed their store many times, and have used there pieces as gifts many times. It sure puts a new slant on gifting.
  15. I doubt that there's anything illegal about a massage in the great outdoors, really only depends upon finding the right location. The problem with a car date is that it's usually done in a public place. I can imagine doing it in my back yard as long as I wasn't exposing myself to the neighbors.
  16. One other thing I found was that it was pretty difficult in that room.
  17. I've got one when they first went on special. I have had some difficulty getting the bridge to work, but I believe the problem is that I've got an older BB. That is not a problem now that the release two software is available. I've now got my email and calendar synced. When I'm traveling now I don't bother with the laptop because it's been pretty easy finding a WiFi connection. Tried a few games which seem to work well. Hope to see a few more apps now that the software update is complete. The other positive is you can't beat the price at $199.
  18. Seems to me they still have a pretty good bunch of ads in the SUN. Now though there are many more ways to advertise both free and paid. Seems that one site starting with D is getting less traffic as I think they have started to charge. I suspect there's still a big demographic that isn't terribly active online but checks the SUN. 25 cents to pick it up on the ways to work or at coffee break gets a lot of eyeballs. I think there are a few girls relying strictly on the SUN and they seem to survive.
  19. I think there's a bit of a flaw in your reasoning, and that revolves around your initial commitment to a spouse or partner. If I remember when I married I promised to love, honour and obey. So I would suggest that the first act of cheating is taken quite deliberately, and can't be viewed as a remedy for our failure to hounor our commitment. Most of the time it's down to a failure to put in the hard work into maintaining a health relationship. I also think that most women intuitively know when their partner is unfaithful, but are pragmatic enough to look the other way. When you are caught I think you have to man up and accept the consequences head on, and, maybe you can reconcile. But at the end of the day, I don't think you can blame it on a cultural bias that guys cheat or that it was your way of sparing your wife of having to perform, and so felt you had to go else where. Yes, back in the day when I was married I did occasionally step out. I believe my wife had a feeling about it because she at one point told me in no uncertain terms what would happen if I was ever caught. I took the risk now and then, but was very careful. I know how devastating it would have been if I had been discovered, and have a number of regrets about how I acted. Today as a widower I am much more at ease with this life style, and am probably a lot less likely to commit to another partner because I would have to abandon this hobby.
  20. Cristy, you're preaching to the converted. Most of the clients here know the advantages of doing as you are suggesting, a date with an appreciative partner. It's a simple matter of showing respect Guys that don't follow the guidelines aren't likely to change.
  21. Aw Sarah, but that's why he's asking the question, the massage can be a very nice bit of fore play, with the advantage that there are those better things to look forward to at the finish.
  22. I have Nikon SLR with a big lens, but now I've started to carry a small digital compact when I travel. There, so many good ones out there today and the features keep getting so much better it's really hard to choose. In the fall I bought a Lumix DMC-ZS10 and it'll do HD video and has stereo audio, gps tagging, 16X zoom and 14 mega pixel, all for $300. This is probably more camera than you want, so I will make a few suggestions. Figure out what you want to spend, and you can probably get a fairly good one for $150. I would suggest figuring out what options you want, for example you don't really really need a big zoom most of the time and more than 8-10 mega pixels is overkill. Pick several good brands, e.g Nikon, Canon. Go to a Future Shop and you'll find probably a dozen choices, so talk to the sales guy about what you want. The last thing I would do is do is some online price comparisons, and you'll probably find a 25-30 different range at the local stores. Good luck.
  23. I tend to like going to a private residence, be it an apartment or home. I think it gives the client a better insight into who he's dealing with, if it's clean, and nicely decorated it reflect well on the provider. As far as being seen entering a residence, I am always discrete and nicely dressed, and if I'm challenged by someone, maybe a neighbor, I have some plausible answers. One good thing about this approach is there is usually parking available
  24. Now and then I go and see Pauline. You don't get the high mileage on the sensual part of the session, but a great massage and the prostate massage which heightens the release.
  25. I usually go to bed early so I'm an early riser, 5,6,7. I put on a pot of tea, coffee for later in the day. Sit in the bay window with my tea and spend a relaxing hour going through the Globe and Mail, cover to cover, then breakfast, always the best meal of the day.
