The office was originally a British series, and was only on for two years. Far better than the American edition

Semantics, Perception and Respect
Boomer replied to mrrnice2's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I'm of a similar generation, and I personal don't have a need to learn to use these terms that I tend to find offensive. Whether, someone tries to reclaim them or not, they are just simply derogatory as I've grown up to understand. The younger generation I know will develop a vocabulary that fits with the times, but some times I think it's for shock value. They're just being lazy and not respectful enough to find less shocking words to covey the meaning. It's all in the context that the terms are used. -
She opened a profile here about a week ago under Ashlynn, and had an ad in the Ottawa section a several days ago. I believe she put up some photos yesterday.

Patience as a virtue....

Here's a link to the marshmallow experiment. There's a great little video of the kids trying to hold out. http://www.cbc.ca/strangeanimal/2011/07/19/why-do-we-lack-will-power/ -
Need help...need a cover story...
Boomer replied to emb3750's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Two Points As for Novembers suggestion, if you haven't developed an open relationship by now, going in that direction at this point is probably out of the question. One problem for men is they get jealous and want the benefits but aren't willing to see their partners have their own freedom to indulge. A cover story is almost impossible to carry off under such a scenario. Maybe you just have to tell her you are stressed and going to take a a little R&R on you're own in the Caribbean. She may know intuitively what you're up to but without the evidence, probably already does know you're a hobbiest. You live with the fall out. -
I maintain accounts on both Facebook and CERB. For me they don't compare as each has very different functions. I usually visit Cerb every day to keep abreast of whats happening in this community and to make some friends, and there are some great topics to discuss. Also on this site you are anonymous, and can create a reputation of your choosing, although I have met some of the ladies and gentlemen personally. Facebook is on the other hand is a great way to stay in touch and keep up to what's happening with my kids. I have created a circle of friends though travel, and even found an old friend from high school. Also some have mentioned privacy issues on FB, and I would argue that I don't have to use a pseudonym there as I do on CERB. You chose and are open with the circle of friends of your choosing.

In short term you have to butt out and see how things evolve. But you call him a very good friend so at some point you might have to test your friendship and say some thing. When I got married I had to accept that my wife had a past that I wasn't going to be told about. It was a condition that I had to accept, but it obviously was always an irritant because to me it indicated that she didn't have enough trust in me to tell me about it. After her death the facts came to the surface and it was something that I had to deal with. Hopefully if your friends relationship evolves he will start to see some of the gaps in her history and have a frank talk to her, and she will fill him in. Potentially you might see her advertising and posts, and see something that isn't too positive, who knows. If it ever comes to the point where you have to talk about it, I really don't think it's her you should be talking to. You have to be thoughtful if you do have to act. Think about how you would expect to be approached if the shoe was on the other foot. Good luck, that is what friendship is all about.

For a number of years she had a limited menu. However the last time I saw her several years ago, she had decided to not offer sensual extras. I will say though if you want a regular massage to get the kinks out she is well worth a visit, and she always had an emasculate studio.

Quit smoking challange
Boomer replied to Carley Chase's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Good luck my dear. I smoked for many years and have also been off for a long time. I found that only one thing really worked for me, cold turkey and mind over matter. I believe that many of the little crutches that people like to use just prolong the agony. Get it in your mind that you are now a non smoker, but should you cheat and take just one then you're back to where you started. When I finally cached it in, not to sugar coat it, I actually found that the hardest times for me were after a month or two, when my resolve lessened. If you hang in the rewards are enormous, so be tough. Good luck. -
Erica's Place - Barbering Spa 4 Men (incl Massage)
Boomer replied to JustJack's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Massage
I think it's pretty obvious that it'll be a while before she returns if she indeed does. Last time she returned it took some time to find a new place and set it up, so if she's cleaned it out this time don't expect to hear from her anytime soon. And although you've seen a few ads on DL, that's just because an old client does it automatically and probably hasn't heard from her in a while.- 281 replies

I generally take a shower before I show up, because I think it's an obligation on my part to show up nice and clean. But I am always ready to take another quick one if the lady requests. As I tend to be more of a massage guy now, I always request bathing with the lady as these days it's more routine, and even shower play with an SP to start is my preference. The other thing it does is assure a wonderful experience when I have the privilege of going down.

Saw a rather interesting ad on the the popular advertising site DL in the Ottawa section. Bikini Car Wash for CHEO and for those who don't know CHEO is the Ottawa children's hospital. Looked at their site and they seem to indicate they'll do events throughout Ontario and parts of Quebec. Honestly I'm not quite sure what to make of the promotion. Obviously it's a money making venture, only 30% of the donations going to the hospital charity. I also wonder how the recipients of the donations would feel about their having their name associated with it. I would be interested to see comments about this kind of business venture, piggy backed on a local icon.

I haven't lost one, but had a very similar situation as Lexy902. Many years ago I was out in the woods with some scouts and dropped mine into the brook. Back then I had a Motorola that was pretty heavy and cluncky. Anyway I removed the battery and left on top of the fridge for a week. Put the battery back and it flashed up beautifully.

I like try to get out usually in the morning during the week, but have to admit that I can get frisky later on through the week end.

Woman jailed after cutting off husband's penis
Boomer replied to qwertyaccount's topic in In the news
Back in the mid nineties there was a case of the Bobbitts, she cut off her husbands penis. They found it and surgically reattached it. There was a lot of abuse in the marriage, and the jury acquitted her. -
As for what you like to do, I think it's pretty obvious by the smiley you chose

I'm using a Blackberry Curve 5120 which I have installed QR Code Scanner Pro. I have used it successfully on less busy codes but haven't been able to get yours to work. Since it's a little older BB may have to do with the camera resolution. If someone can recommend another app it would be appreciated. I believe later iterations of the BB messenger will scan for you. And Satin if you can find me an app and I get to scan your code, it's a date.

Well I don't think anyone would disagree that the idea of this club is pretty warped. Although the idea that good sex in a long term relationship is fundamental, the idea that it's the responsibility of the lady to provide is troublesome. It has to be consensual, and the duty of both partners to provide satisfaction for each other. As a widower I deeply regret the times when I didn't rise to the occasion when prompted. It's a matter of reading the signals, having great communications and above all being unselfish. I don't think that Waterrat posted this to promote a belief but for information and comment. He took no stance as to the validity of the club.

I think there was more or less consensus on an earlier thread that it would make sense to take a few minutes and stop at a debit machine on the way to the rendezvous. Then there's no hassle or question by giving her the cash.

Maritime Social - Moncton or Halifax
Boomer replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Is there any news about this event. Wondering if this is still a go, planning a trip to Halifax later this summer and would schedule around it. -
There's quite a scandal going on in the UK. Apparently Rupert Murdoch hired investigators to hack cell phones to provide information for his newspaper News of the World. I didn''t think that this was possible unless you have an identical SIM card. Maybe we've got someone out there that can elucidate.

Think it is time for a change, any thoughts?
Boomer replied to PistolPete's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I've always thought that you should retain a name for as long as you can, so that you deny others a chance to use the name for themselves. Some one might admire your pseudonym and take it over or some variation if it's not in use, kinda like identity theft. Your name represents you and has your reputation associated with you, protect it. There are a number of Boomer??s out there but only the one and only Boomer. -

The other thing I would suggest is post under one of the Winnipeg Manitoba forums, you're more likely to get responses there. -
Hello, Nice to meet you.

Always good to see a newbie. Don't be shy about joining in. One suggestion though, take a good look at the Rules and FAQ tab at the top of the page. Keep you out of trouble and make it a lot easier to get the most out of the board.
